I recently visited Tackett Chiropractic in Queensbury New York. Dr. Ellen Nichols is the worst of offenders as when she knew she injured me severely did absolutely nothing to make it right. I am over 50 and requested neck adjustments to C1 through 4 based upon the CT Imaging she had performed at her office, so that any numbness in my hands from pinched nerves would go away. I also upon my first visit stated that I had some discomfort in the upper region of my shoulders but that was not my real concern. Although the numbness in my hands went away she decided to to some deep tissue massage to my shoulder, back and bicep however, the amount of pressure she used was so extreme that it rendered my right arm completely paralyzed. I had explained to her a week before this attack on my body, that I wanted to go to a doctor to get some imaging done to find out what was causing my discomfort and she told me that she would prefer that I go to an acupuncture before seeking conventional medical advice. I should have listened to mu gut instinct. Even though she had an older X-ray machine there she never offered to perform any and instead, went so deep into my muscles and tendons and nerves that I am after three days not able to move my arm without pain. I contacted her and told her I was going to urgent care and she told me that she did not recomend going and that I should just go to her office instead. I went to urgent care anyway and was told that I had sever mustle trauma and that the tendons were damaged by the severe pressure she used. They did imiging xray and found that I had some calcific deposits in a couple areas of my shoulder and that if she had performed an xray at her location she would have discovered the same prior to rendering my arm and shoulder in trauma. Her x ray machine looked pretty old and maybe it did not work at all but none the less, I trusted her to not do any harm to me and that she knew what she was doing. She did not and was not willing to pay for my visit to urgent care or to pay any of my loss wages and therefore, instead of hiring a lawyer, I have decided to tell my story online to warn others that this woman will hurt you if your not absolutely sure of what she is doing is needed or advised.

Desired outcome: For Tackett to remurse my fees I paid to them, pay for my urgent care visit, loss wages and for further treatment for recovery.
