Dr. Maria Yazji Orthodontics review: Full or partial refund.

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing this letter regarding a service I received from Dr. Maria Yazji Orthodontics.  I was under orthodontic treatment for a year and a half and was seeing very minimum to no progress in my treatment.  In addition, the clinic's schedule could never fit me in.  There was never availability for me although I offered to accommodate them and go to any of their locations in Miami.  During the pandemic, I continued to make my monthly payments although I spent months with the same set of invisaligns and they made it very difficult for me to get my replacements; wanted me to pay an excessive amount of money to ship them to me (it should be their responsibility to begin with).  When I complained about the schedule issue because I became worried there was never an opening to see me, instead of apologizing for not fitting a patient in, (someone who is paying a very high price for a treatment), they wrote me a letter dismissing me as a patient.  Very unprofessional and inconvenient since I did a lot of research for an orthodontist before coming here, now having to find a new place in the midst of a pandemic, where I did not feel comfortable going somewhere new, and leaving me very little time to prepare.   

Results were not even close to what was promised/expected.  I was initially told the bottom braces would help with my chin appearance and then the Dr. suggested I get fillers (surreal, especially since she was the one that mentioned the chin issue/betterment in appearance).  I was also told the process would help with my double bite and when I mentioned it to her several months later (after seeing no improvement whatsoever) the Dr. jokingly said 'sorry, I owe you', like there was no chance of fixing it but it was in fact discussed in the consultation visit in an attempt to make me want to do business with them.

I paid approximately $2,800.00 (or more) for this service. I saw less than a 5% enhancement overall; and two teeth where the braces were placed very, very close to one another, by an assistant and not the Dr., left my teeth stained as there was very little to no room for me to properly brush them. When I mentioned it to the Dr. she disregarded me, as usual. The agenda here was for them to make money and not help the patient. I simply asked for those two braces to please be replaced as I was concerned because I was having a very hard time cleaning them.

I would appreciate your assistance in resolving my complaint. I would like to receive a full refund from Dr. Maria Yazji Orthodontics of the full cost of the service in the amount of $2,800.00.

This has been the biggest waste of time and money of my life.
