I bought a battery and inverter in Dec 2022 from Energy Outlet. In September 2023 I returned the faulty battery (with a 10 year warranty) to them.
They let me know on 27 September that the repairs were complete, and that the battery would be couriered to me next day and I would receive my waybill. 28 September was the last communication from them and no waybill was received, no calls returned, no messages answered.
I have proof of all documentation and have kept all communications.
Sitting browsing another site, I have subsequently discovered 3 other businesses all based in the same area, with similar websites and similar misspellings. I believe that as they cheat the public out of money/ service/ products that they are simply switching names and continuing the same.
In the meantime I am out of pocket by R28 000!
Desired outcome: Return of 100% functional battery or a refund.
