American Auto Shield review: Extended Warranty

I've had an extended warranty contract on my vehicle since I first purchased the car. Within the years, I've had to reach out to my extended warranty ( a different company) and I truly felt protected. Once my 100k ran out, American Auto Shield contacted me promising to give me the same type of warranty but at a cheaper price. NOW, I'm having to rely on my extended warranty to get my transmission fixed and I have got to say, AAS is total BS. They have so many fine line exclusions. They are of no help in terms of facilitating the movement of my car from one shop to another (mind you, they are making me take my car to a different facility outside of the dealership) and my rental is contingent upon coverage, in which I'll be reimbursed. This is the worst warranty purchase I have EVER made! The previous warranty company took care of everything! Covered the entire transmission and facilitated my rental. I will make sure to tell everyone I know to stay far away from AAS! Total crooks! It's all in the detailed wording and you are NOT getting what they ambiguously state in their contracts.
