Hello,
I am contacting you regarding a very concerning issue I discovered with a package of your “Toot Loops” dog treats.
The box had a sticker placed over the expiration date stating:
“April 06, 2026”
However, after the sticker partially lifted, I discovered the original printed expiration date underneath reads:
“10-06-2025”
Frankly, this is alarming. Placing a new expiration sticker over an earlier printed expiration date raises serious questions about product safety and transparency, especially when these products are intended for pets.
I attempted to contact your company through LinkedIn, but the site would not allow me to attach the photographs showing both dates on the box. I do, however, have clear photos documenting the sticker and the original printed date underneath.
At this point, I do not feel comfortable giving these treats to my dog until I receive an explanation. I would like to know:
Why the product appears to have been relabeled,
Whether this was officially authorized,
And whether these treats are actually safe for consumption.
I expect this matter to be investigated seriously and would appreciate a prompt response.
Thank you,
Ray R Wise
