I recently employed your gas station in early September to break down my car tires to re-balance and re-installed on my 2004 Jeep Grand Laredo.

Upon completion I was given back my Jeep and I started to drive away when I heard a constant noise coming from my car. They took the car in and look at the front left wheel and remounted it. The noise was still there.

Your mechanics ask me to look with them as they wiggle the steering wheel back and forth.

A Constance noise was happening and they indicated my wheel u-joints were bad.

The preceded to give me a quote for $800 dollars to repair the problem, Then indicated a the pitman arm would need to be replace as well and that would be extra.

I did not go ahead with the repairs whet for a second opinion from a garage that has been in business 75 years. Hoover front end repair center. I trust then with all my brake work and front end requirements. The mechanic at Hoover stated there is nothing wrong with my front end and stated the shop who told you this was not telling you the truth.

So once I reach home I started to look what cause the noise could until I seen the power steering supply line was catching the steering shaft so every time you wiggle the steering wheel back and fourth a noise occur.

Just to let you I replace the power steering supply line myself earlier in the year because of a leak in the hose. There was plenty of space from the supply line he steering column. The supply lines are factory form to meet clearance.

But, as I look closer and closer I notice the steering supply line was up against the steering column. The noise was the compression fitting in the line was now hitting the steering shaft.

So I wish to inform you when waiting for my car in the lobby I witness your mechanic had a racket and a long extension bar in his hand and working under my car in the engine compartment. The waiting room has a clear view because of the windows which allows you to see work being done.

At the time I was puzzle to why is is your mechanic was working under my Jeep when I hire you firm only to remove the tires and re-install to include a balancing on the tires. Well now I know. Your mechanic push the supply line steering hose over to the steering bar column. I will never work with your firm again and will file a complaint with the Minnesota Better business bureau.
