CareCredit review: Hidden fees, slimy tactics + terrible service

Care credit on two occasions has charged me for "return payment" and "late fees" despite me paying my bill on time. What's happened on my end, is that my money was in savings. One occasion that this happened I attempted to pay my bill early in the month and it failed to come out of my account (again, savings) so i got charged for the fact that it didn't come out of the bank. CHARGED BECAUSE I ATTEMPTED TO PAY THE BILL EARLY I WASNT EVEN LATE! The charge was only because the payment failed. Another occasion, I paid my bill on time however, I didn't switch the funds to the correct account and didn't even know so imagine my surprise when i get a debt collecting call from them with a late fee! I have another credit card that ive had far longer and never had an issue with. Ive called them to discuss why a payment didn't process and these other companies are willing to remove bogus fees. The care credit company does not care that you did pay, they care that it didn't go through and want more money because of it. On top of all of that they target lower income individuals who do not have health insurance. I wish I had researched about this company before signing up :( I tell everyone I know to stay away from them, now that I have faced the challenges they give to their clients.

Recommendation: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS
