I had Lasik done in December and revived 0% financing through GE Money (Care Credit) Tried to set up a recurring payment with them on their web site to pay the balance in 18 equal installments but they said they can't do it. They can only charge the min each month, which decreases over time, or pay the balance which defeats the purpose. Every credit card provider I have gives me the option except them. This is a deliberate way to scam consumers hoping they will be late so they can charge deferred interest. THEY ARE SCAM!

I had opened a Care Credit Account for my sister's dental work. I had to pay for her dental work and was not aware of how their statments on "Promotional Purchase" work until 12th month. "Finance Charge" in the "balance summary" always shows up "$0.00" on every statement for 12 months and it's even bolded. Minimum Payment due amount decreases every month. When I looked at my balance on 13th statement it was $3, 563.13. I started with $4, 500 (loan from Care Credit) and paid every month for 12 months. Finace Charge was $1, 155.13. I called [protected] and got 50% discount on the finance charge when I explained my situation to the supervisor. My fault was that I did not read /look at the statement / agreement carefully until last month. It was too late. It seems that Care Credit is getting a lot of complaints on Finace Charge. When I called this number before, CSR gave me 25% discounts right away without asking the nature of my call. I was so shocked. I think their statement is very misleading specially if you are used to other credit card statements. I've never seen any statements like CareCredits. It was a terrible experience.

that option is now available, and it isnt a scam, it is your personal responsibility to make a payment, you can make the payment online each month and set whatever amount you want. you are just looking for something to complain about. it is not fraud and you are a winey little baby

Shut up, Jared! I guess you work for Care Credit or GE Money; that makes you loyal to them... some extra money for you on the way, I guess? Care Credit/GE Money it's the worst financial company; cheaters, liars, blue-collar thieves and scammers. Check the 'Little Sneaky Rules' thread about this company I guess you love so badly.
