Dealer's resource center is a terrible 3rd party warranty company to work with and do not recommend their warranties to ANYONE. They refuse to cover the total hourly rate of any mechanic (they try to only cover $150/hr which is over $100 less per hour than what is charged at most places in the state and national average). Thy state that they have an agreement on the hourly rate with the dealership the car was purchased from, which is not stated in the contract anywhere and is refused by the dealership (or any dealership they do business with). They will also try to put in aftermarket parts that have worse warranties than OEM parts. In addition to not initially refusing to cover the total hourly rate, they are now attempting to deny coverage of a part that is covered under the contract signed. Unfortunately, the first repair did not take care of a noise coming from my car. The dealership did another diagnostic test and determined that the turbo charger wastegate actuator (an electric component) was failing causing the noises heard during driving. The representative from Dealer's Resource Center has refused to agree to the repairs, which include replacement of the turbo charger, until I demonstrate proof that I have done oil changes on the car. The auto shop that I took my car to for routine care was sold off over the past year and the owner of the shop no longer has access to previous receipts. This information as well as the contact information of the shop has been given to both the dealership and Dealer's Resource Center. Regardless, this is a moot point, because this is a part that the mechanics have insisted is not one that fails due to improper oil changes. This is another example of this company trying to do anything not to provide coverage for parts that are covered within the written contract. TLDR: DO NOT BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM DEALERS RECOURSE CENTER!

Desired outcome: Covering repairs of the part that is defective
