This is my second complaint. Dish salesman lied to me about their internet service to secure a contract. It does not work with xbox live!. For the short time that I had it connected, their internet service was non-functional more than it was functional. I got tired of it and switched to a local cable provider for internet. I alerted dishnet to pick up their internet equipment, which they did before easter. I am still being charged for internet. I just talked to a representative, who told me that he can see that I am still using his internet service... Even when I have no equipment. Dish and dishnet are both scams. The salespeople lie to get you to commit, and then they screw you any way that they can. Their billing for internet is simply a scam. They will run you past your limits and then offer to charge you more for "better" plans. They see me as using their internet when I have no modem and no dish... What a scam!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
