Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally report an incident involving a suspected fuel quality issue at the Esso Circle Drive gas station located at 8403 Ellerslie Road, Edmonton, AB T6X 1A3.

On April 14, 2026, at approximately 6:13 PM, my husband fueled our white 2017 Nissan Rogue (Alberta license plate: BXX 8768) at the above location. I was also present in the vehicle at the time of refueling, and we have retained the receipt as proof of purchase.

After refueling, we were able to drive home, as we live nearby. However, on the morning of April 15, 2026, the vehicle would no longer start despite previously functioning normally.

Later that same day, we became aware of multiple news reports indicating that other drivers experienced similar vehicle issues after refueling at the same station.

Given these circumstances, we are concerned that there may be a potential fuel quality or dispensing issue at this location. We respectfully request that this incident be formally recorded and reviewed as part of an internal investigation.

We would also appreciate confirmation of whether any similar complaints have been reported for this location and whether there are any known fuel quality or dispensing issues during the relevant time period. If the investigation confirms that the fuel may have contributed to vehicle damage, we request guidance on the appropriate process for submitting a claim for reimbursement of reasonable expenses, including diagnostic fees, towing, and repair costs.

We also respectfully request that all relevant fuel records, delivery logs, and site data for the date in question be preserved pending investigation.

We have retained all supporting documentation, including the fuel receipt, and will preserve any additional evidence such as diagnostic reports and repair records. The vehicle can also be made available for inspection if required.

Please advise us on the next steps and whether any additional information is required to support your review.
