Etihad Airways baggage counter clerk - toronto pearson airport - ey 140-8 sept-

On above date around 7-45 pm at economy class baggage counter when I reached with my 75 year old mother TO DROP HER -this is what happened.
- Iam 52 years old went to drop my mother at airport-THE BAGGAGE COUNTERLADY told us to do carry on baggage weight first.-unfortunately weight was 1.5 lb more-SHE ORDERED ( yes it was tone of order not a request at all) my mother to took off extra weight of (which was her religious books and dry fruits for my brother's kids) and stand in queue of 50 people again and come back when our turn come.-
I requested that we will remove those religious books and dry fruit but please please do not sendus in back of queue again...and i successed somehow but she keep on telling be quick be quick...within that one minuts time.
Oce we manage to reduced weight she WARNED US SAYING THAT She will make sure at security level to weight again and check it (as if she is dealing with criminals!)
-YOUR EMPLOYIES DO NOT KNOW HOW TO BEHAVE WITH SENIOR CITIZEN
-They don't know how to TALK WITH CUSTOMERS
- They don't HAVE ANY MANNERS AT ALL
- The don't know how to BE HUMAN...I have experienced other airlines are giving first preference to old people...no queue at all for them
-Your employees are perfect match for JAILORS!
I know just one customer like me will not make affect to your prestigious airlines...BUT I WILL NEVER EVER TRAVEL IN YOUR AIRLINES NOW ONWARDS.

Etihad Airways carry on regulations and customer care

I am boarding a flight to Melbourne from Abu Dhabi. The flight number is EY460. When I just went through your line to board the plane I was told that I was not allowed to bring a roll of tape. This roll is/was necessary for the survey/work I will be doing when I land. I was told no reason and referred to as dude and whatever. Solem Saeed was your representative in charge. This is how he sloppily wrote his name, and most likely was meant to be not legible or just plan wrong.. I went on your website and look at a list of items that are not permitted and there is nothing about tape or anything remotely close to this. I'm well over a million miles with Delta and have their highest status, along with several other airlines I've had to fly.. I carry this same gear often and never any issue. Except today where I am just dude, and whatever. I will now be landing with one extra thing to do before work.. The incident occurred on the 8th of September, in Abu Dhabi at gate 35 around 9pm. To reiterate there is nothing on your website to let a customer know they can not bring tape and this is part of my carry on kit that I fly with around the world.. Additionally my name is not dude. It is Michael Floyd. I would appreciate your feedback with regards to this.

Extremely dismayed by the absolute lack of concern and shoddy arrangement due to the luggage not being delivered at LHR. Especially since my daughter is travelling to London for her studies for the first time.

Absolute disgrace Etihad. Will certainly remember this for ever.

Etihad Airways credit card payment

I booked air ticket to Karachi from Abu Dhabi via Etihad website on 31 August 2019. I paid the amount thru credit card and the amount of AED 1, 239 was charged on my credit card at the same time. But the balance in card showing that amount was charged twice by Etihad on my card.

I called the bank and they informed me that the amount was charged once and the card is blocked for same amount again by Etihad that is why balance in card is reduced by twice of the amount.

Kindly let me know what is the actual issue and why you have blocked my card for the amount that is already charged.

Etihad Airways baggage delay

I am still waiting for a response to my previous emails asking for compensation for my baggage being delayed for 18 days and only receiving it once I returned home. I had no suitcase for the whole of my holiday. Etihad ruined my holiday..
I have been offered the money for my receipts but nothing else, how can this be?
This ongoing complaint is starting to make me ill and loose sleep I am so distraught by your lack of customer service

Hello team,

This is Gulafsha here. Complaining about my goods (a mobile phone) which I forgot on board. It has been more than 3 months now...

I request you to please take at least some serious actions and check at least once. I forgot my phone in the seat pocket of your plane.

My phone is there. It has business details since I am a working woman. I request you to please show some courtesy to check and then reply me.

I hope you would understand my situation. This is really tough for me. Please let me know if you need some amount to give my phone worth 25, 000 back to me.

Hi my name is Pooja Lamba, I travelled from Delhi to Cairo on 4 September (EY 655-04 September) I had total 5 no pcs check in bags from 1 of 5 bag was opened and few things are missing from them, 2 packets of Indian sweets cost Rs 3000 Indian currency, and few cloths cost of Rs 7000 Indian currency, , I travelled so many times earlier and this has never happened to me, , , my PNR is VLUIHR

Etihad Airways airline

My daughter, Celestine Chun Wei Ting was booked on 3 September (EY473) (reservation code HKWHXM), to London via Abu Dhabi Airport.

During the flight from Abu Dhabi to London (EY11) her seat - 62G could not recline. I understand that the stewardess tried to push down the seat but could not as well.
Hope the stewardess had reported the faulty seat.

This meant that my daughter, on her 7+ hour to London was seated upright instead of reclining to get some sleep.

She is returning on EY12 on 18 September to Abu Dhabi before taking the flight to Singapore.

For the great discomfort on the forward journey to London, please advise if there is any service recovery you could provide on her trip home?

A upgrade would be splendid.

Etihad Airways twice paid the same ticket-request refund

I paid for the return ticket Beg-KUL that was presented to me before the money transfer(OBZKI7). When I paid, I got a ticket with an extra stop. I didn't want to react to that unfair move, believing that only possible flights were being sold.
At Kuala Lumpur I was forbidden to board a Phuket plane because the airport does not offer a transfer option that does not require a visa to Thailand.
The only solution was to buy a new ticket that was 770usd at the time of pre-flight purchase( LFHMWX).
I demand that Etihad refund my money. Etihad exposed me to a lot of stress, which was quite unnecessary before long flight from KL to Belgrade.
I request that you reimburse me 770 usd appropriated by you. Etihad did not come to the end point that it needed to charge me twice.

There were no attempts to resolve the case. Just an explanation that it had to be that way, for no reason.
That I had to be taken off the flight without my fault and financial compensation. Horror!
Shame on the Etihad
A very violent business. I hope travelers recognize the unprofessionality.

Please tell me what was my fault that resulted that I had to buy a new 770usd ticket instead of the one I already had. When you explain this to me, I will find that Etihad is not guilty for my stress and financial loss.
Now, I think that you blame your company.
For me the case is not closed.

Dear Nic,
Etihad's answer is an empty story that is without facts. Which is my fault for being punished for having to buy a new ticket?
1.Etihad sold me one ticket first and gave me another one (stopover is a minus for the ticket price and this must be shown before payment).
2, Etihad sold me a ticket that is impossible for me.
3. Etihad exposed me to stress a before long trip by bringing me back from the road ahead
4. What would happen if I didn't have money for a new ticket 11000 km from home?
5. A month from the trip Etihad is corresponding with me buying time.
What are your facts? You are talking that I have to pay Etihad the ticket twice?
Is there a solution for refund or it is normal for Etihad to take money twice for the same route to the same person?

Dear Nic,
I was communicated with by Abderrahim Moutaouakil at email address feedback@etihad.ae asking me to reimburse the cost of an Etihad cod share company that was supposed to operate one fifteenth part of the flight . I paid the ticket for Etihad to realize and I hold him responsible for the damage, and I ask Etihad for compensation.
Let "an agreement between two airlines" stay between you and the operating air carrier.
I request that you reimburse me 770 usd appropriated by you. Etihad did not come to the end point that it needed to charge me twice. This is unscrupulous harassment and bad evaluation of the passengers' intelligence.
I hope that you are in a position to solve the problem.

Etihad Airways charging me extra money on my handbag

I had allowance of 2 luggage bags with 55 kg in total n 7 kg cabin n 5 kg laptop bag I had a hand bag with me n I only carried 46 kg out of 55 the person at the checkin counter did not inform me for not carrying my hand bag . During the time of boarding they started threatening me if you don't pay we might cancel the pass so I had to pay 4500 which is wrong if they had already informed me at the start i could have adjusted in my luggage ! Very disappointing this is you need to stop looting people I suggest

Etihad Airways my daughter's journey from kochi (kerala), india to birmingham.

My daughter had booked a flight through Etihad Airways, recommended by me. I work in KSA and frequently use Etihad airways for my journey to KSA.
Her ordeal began on the early hours of 31st August. Her booking code being QAUOBB.
At the outset the checking clerk did not know about her VISA status, as she had a stop over in Dublin. After waiting for for more than one hour, the booking clerk issued her 2 boarding pass, one from kochi to AUH and the other from AUH to Dublin. When enquired, the clerk told her the boarding to Birmingham will be issued in Dublin.
On arrival in Dublin the immigration officer told her to collect her baggage and check in again, Valuable time was lost during the process. The baggage handling clerk told her that it has already being transferred to AER LINGUS flight to Birmingham. By the time she reached the check in counter, the AER LINGUS flight had left for Birmingham.
She had to pay an extra 75 euros for the next flight to Birmingham. Upon arrival in Birmingham she lost her luggage. She got it on the third day.
My daughter suffered a lot because of misinformation. Travelling alone and being a lady, I don't have to elaborate on the lost luggage, and ordeal she underwent with no spare dress for the cold weather in Birmingham.
Please be kind enough to instruct your staff at the various check in counters to provide the right information to passengers travelling with multiple stop overs.

Please be informed that I am a frequent flyer with Etihad airways.

Date of Incident is 31 August 2019 at King Abdul Aziz international airport

Approximately every two months I go to China via your airline in Business Trip.
Unfortunately this time an incident has arouse.
I have booked one way to China as I have a long business trip and I don't know exactly when I will return because I have many things to do it.
But in the airport the clerk made me pay 5000 sr in cash over the amount I paid which is way expensive as I usually pay around 5000 sr only for return ticket.

He insisted that I pay or else I don't board the plane.

I requested an invoice with the payment I paid but he refused and make me waiting ti before the boarding come to close.

I am shocked with such a behavior as this is not how things are done in Etihad airways.

Please check the situation and get back to me as soon as possible. "Ticket Ref.

I am 79 years of age and a an advanced Cancer suferer with Arthritis and I needed an isle seat because of my incontinence, I pleaded with your booking staff at Merlbourne and they refused me and gave me a middle seat instead at Abu Dhabi I again pleaded with the booking staff and was refused and given a middle seat,
On my return from the UK at LHR I again spoke to the booking staff and was refused an isle seat which meantI I was squashed between two large men who made my life a misery and thankfully the Air Hostess seeing my plight moved me to the kitchen for a few hours to my relief and much later to an isle seat for which I was grateful.
At Abu Dhabi I once again pleaded with the booling staff for an Isle seat and was refused'I returned to Melbourne feeling pretty sick and vowved never to travel by Etihad again and advise friends and colleagues not to do so. My ticket Number is 607-[protected] booking ref ABXDLS.I woud appreciate an explanation and compensation for the misery I went through.

Etihad Airways cabin crew service

On flight EY10 from London to Abu Dhabi on Sunday 1st September :
Cabin Crew Julia was so incredibly rude to me I ended up in tears
1. She refused me a snack when hungry, I only asked politely if I might have some crackers, she said there was nothing so I said ok and waited for the second meal to come
2. She ignored my call button for such a long time, around 15/20 minutes, that I ended up getting up and walking to the back where she was stood doing nothing
3. I asked for a drink, well over an hour before the flight was over, & she told me the bar was closed already, (another of the cabin crew said that was not the case)
4. She then came over and in a very aggressive manner asked me what my problem was, I asked her for her name & said I wasn't happy with her service and tried to take a picture of her for this complaint, so I could prove who she was, she told me it was illegal to take pictures and stormed off
5. She sent her superior cabin crew (i didn't get her name) to speak to me, telling me to delete the picture, (which I did after she threatened me with security) and this person said that they would speak to her about it all, and asked if I was still hungry which I was not by this time
However I did not feel that this was adequate, hence writing this complaint. Julia was mean, rude, unfriendly, unprofessional and I don't think she should be working in the service industry as she clearly doesn't like helping people.
I hope she is disciplined and removed before she has someone else crying in the bathroom after how she treated them, which is what happened to me today.

Etihad Airways Etihad guest partner miles still & always missing

Dear All,

I believe there is a serious problem in the relationship between Etihad Guest and it's partners, whether they are airlines, rental cars, etc.

Every time the average lead time to get miles credited (ie. Alitalia, SriLankan, Malaysian, Czech Airlines, Budget, RentalCars.com) is approximately 6 months.
None has ever been credited below 4 months of waiting. Why is this?
The only ones credited in a short time are Etihad flights and codeshares.

At the moment I have the following cases open and I don't want them to drag on till 2020 like all the previous cases. Can you do something about it?

INTR:[protected] - not yet credited from July 2019 : 2 flights on SriLankan Airlines
INTR:[protected] - not yet credited from April 2019 : 1000 Bonus points from Budget first time rental.

One question, does top management at Etihad have any idea how long customer claims are open for?

Etihad Airways airline passenger assistance

We had to travel from Lahore, Pakistan to Ottawa Canada. We requested for wheelchair assistance and were travelling through business class. On Toronto airport, we had to change flight from etihad to air canada for commencing ottawa journey. There was no wheelchair assistance provided and we were asked to collect the baggage and re-book again on aircanda by ourselves. We booked the flight through etihad and they never mentioned that there will be no such facility available on Toronto airport. It took us 3 hours to do these things and change the terminal. This is highly disappointing to see such an unprofessional attitude of etihad airways.

Etihad Airways Misinforming

So disappointed boarded flight from lagos to new york ticket number [protected] got to the airport 3 ihrs to to check in you guys said I had xxlorgage and I was charged $400 for my extra load which I paid before checking in. Landed here in dubai stayed for 7 ihrs and now time to board the next flight to dublin the lady in gate 8 offloaded me asking for a transit visa, I showed her my green card but she insisted I will not go and left me stranded here in dubai with no plans. Right now i'm so disappointed with the way you guys operation leaving ur customers hungry and stranded just like a homeless person. My question is, why would you guys fly me to dubai at first? Knowing I needed a transit visa.. That's so sad that people could treat customer like this. After I had waited for 7ihrs and i'm still here without knowing my faith. Had to be at work first thing on monday morning. To whom it nay concerned I will appreciate if you guys should get me out of here as soon as you can.

Etihad Airways confirmation of seat paid for seat

Hello,
I paid $30 yo confirm seat 56 h on flight traveling from Abu Dhabi to Newyork flight EY 101 date 31st August 2019, this is done about a week back, I do, have the confirmation emails with a confirmed seat and as well money taken out of my credit card
When I did check on sat, my seat was NO longer available it was given to someone else
Called etihad in Mumbai said he will
Also put in the complaint for me, as it also shows that the seat was a PAID SEAT and was no longer assign to me,
Mumbai airport was no help, said etihad would refund money when in Newyork
KINDLY REFUND MY MONEY, or pls next trip

Etihad Airways cabin crew service

Hello my name is mohammed ansar, I was travelling from london to Abu dhabi in ey026 this morning 30th August and the cabin crew service was not upto the mark, as I asked for water she gave me a sparkling water and I asked her is it a water, then she said it's a sparkling water, I couldn't drink it early morning and then after 2 -3 mins she kept normal water in my adjacent seat as it was empty and she dint even bother to inform me, as it was in between me and other passenger, how will I know if it's for me or not I have got 6 hours layover in Abu Dhabi and I thought etihad airways is one of the bests but no I was wrong and option of choosing you is absolutely wrong
