Family Dollar review: garbage ( 6 comments)

Regarding the dollar store at 5255 n. Milwaukee chicago, illinois 60630 store#05440 in the past two years i have made so many complaints to the store itself and to the city of chicago. I live about a block east from this store and the amount of paper and garbage that blows down the street because of them is just over whelming. I was complaining to them about the garbage can just outside the door always being filled and their solution was to drag it in the back of the parking lot so they wouldnt have to deal with it anymore. Now everyone just throws their receipts and garbage on the floor going outside the door or just outside the door. The garbage cans in the back that are supposed to have chains on them are never locked and always open with garbage just blowing out all of the time. I have never seen such a nasty store in all of my life. Do you not inspect your stores as they are a reflection of the name. We have gotten together a large petition and we are going to see what fines can be levied against their failure to want to correct these problems. Please deal with this problem for our community. You are not sending a good message or image. I know so many people that have stopped going their because of the smells and lack of just generally cleaning up this store. We have videos, pictures, whatever, but that isnt stopping anyone from cleaning up this mess. Help us please. The 5500 w. Farragut block.
