Federal Tax Law Group review: Tax payment plan & liability reduction services

The rep Danield claimed they could significantly reduce our tax liability and that they have direct communications with IRS representatives. He stated they would immediately send the IRS a power of attorney to start helping manage and communicate on my "case". After I paid $650 it took 1-2 weeks before Daniel had any info. All they really did was pull tax records which I already had provided to them with other extensive details. He then gives me a proposal to file missing tax returns (which I said I could do myself) and "negotiate" the debt for $8700 up front payment. Which he knew from the start we were not in a position to pay. However he still took the $650 up front and waiting for days to tell us nothing to make it look like they were doing something. It was a scam
