Great Clips review: terrible hair cut 9/15/15

This is a horribly chopped cut. The layers are not blended and have single strands jutting out that are so uneven. I asked for 1/4" off of shoulder length/layered hair and I ended up with this. There's a thin fringe around the nape of my neck, similar to a mullet. The rest of my hair is 2 inches long. I clearly stated that I wanted 1/4" taken off . My length is now the thin mullet fringe and the rest is up to my ears. Brooke in Tempe, AZ (Mill and Southern location) gave me this lopsided cut and did not listen to my request AT ALL. At one point, I looked into my lap and there were chopped pieces of up to 1.5". I asked her what she had done and she said she was trying a new layering technique. Trying a new technique? Absurd. I did not ask for a new technique, I asked for a 1/4" trim. I was very clear with her. She did what SHE wanted to, as far as my hair is concerned. She has no idea what customer service is all about.
I am seeking a refund, at least. It's going to be a miserable few weeks waiting for this debacle to grow out.
