I used JustAnswer with a question in Feb 2026. Was charged $5 for using the website.
A month later I noted charges to my bank account for membership which I did NOT apply for.
I contaced the company, and after review I rcvd an email from them stating:
"This email is to confirm that your transaction of 65 € has been canceled. This will be reflected on your credit or debit card ending in **** within 3-5 business days".
They confirmed cancellation of membership.
No refund, it’s been over a month now.
A month later, last week, another charge. I emailed them again, and received another email reply:
"I am sorry about any confusion with our service.
Rest assured that your recent membership charge has already been refunded. You should see the funds in your bank account within the next business day. However, the bank may take three to five business days to release the funds depending on their policy".
I am beyond frustrated, and feel like I’m being scammed.
Claimed loss: €65. 2 months of charges€32.80 Last charge from April 29th.
Desired outcome: Full refund as promised, and no future charges.

After many attempts to get this resolved directly with JustAnswer, posting the problem on this website (Complaints Board) took care of the issue. I have had a full refund within 2 days from JustAnswer. I recommend complaintboars.com HIGHLY!
