Saturday Evening...10:17pm (closing time 11pm) I proceeded to the first of three drive through windows to place my order. Waited for approx. 2 minutes - no response so i moved to the second window. I waited for 5 minutes before honking the horn, meanwhile two male workers have walked past the window. Finally the female attendant arrived at the window..."Could you drive to the third window"... I did so. When i arrived she explained that they have switched off all other registers other than the one on the front counter. I ordered to which she replied "That'll be ten dollars something" I questioned her methods...she then yelled to the girl at the front counter for the actual price...i paid. Then she retuened to inform me that they were out of Orange Juice. I requested to speak to the manager. I explained how poor the service is, was & had been in the past...their complete lack of work ethics...seems that people are far to lazy to do the job they're paid for & they just dont care. I asked for my money back & she obliged. This level of service is repeated regularly at KFC Kotara...the previous time they had no chicken & no burgers...would it not make sense to shut the doors?

went to the Blair, Nebraska store and the service was very poor this was at 6:15 p.m. on 10-16-09 the food that we wanted to order they did not have enough so we had to order something else and there was even a wait for that. There was a guest there that had waited 30 minutes for their food and asked for their money back and there was only three people on duty and I know from working fast food you do not do that on a Friday night . We ordered a mega box for $42 which should contain chicken, nuggets, large colesaw, 2 large potatoe and gravy, and 3 large chips, on ordering the meal they advised us that they had no colesaw at or so we said we will have a potatoe and gravy instead then on recieving the meal we had 10 small potatoe and gravys and we asked where are the large potatoe and gravy they said they have none. If they had told us this a the start we would not have ate KFC, we were not happy with the service the chicken was old the nuggets were old, KFC should have advised us straight away as they did not have plain fillets for the burgers also the service and the quality of the KFC was not to standards, i would like something done as it was over $60 for the meal and the burgers and the drinks, if they have the add for something you want they should provide the meal in our case they did not.

My wife and i just had the worst experience ever sun 04/10/09 1930pm in the KFC Ebbw Vale wales UK after we drove through all the empty food boxes in the car park we went in side well the restaurant look liked there had been a football match played there.we went to the counter and ordered our food the young lady behind the counter ask us if we was eating in our restaurant .The right word should of been a pig style the place was only to describe as dreadful there was empty food boxes spilled drink every where we moved some rubbish and had a seat there was slippery floor warnings sings put on seats where the drinks was spilled it didn't look like any body had cleaned there for a few days .we had our food and needless to say we left most of it as the was no napkins or Knife OR forks available .I thought i better check out toilet there was Flem where some one had spat in the sink and and strong smell of urine there as well needless to say we wont be returning again.

worst customer service & delivery
This is my worst experience in home delivery ever. I have made an order which was supposed to be delivered in half an hour. The order took 75 minutes and when I was trying to call them to know the reason and to submit a complaint, they kept me on hold for 20 minutes.
It is absolutely my last time to use this service which is probably the worst customer service and home delivery in Dubai.

i went into your store on oct 1, 2009 hoping to get chicken wings for the 5th or more time in 4 months never can you ever get the order you want, the manager is as rude and unprofesional as a human can be. i orderd 6 chicken wings i was told by the cashier that she had to see did they had enough she returned to tell me they only had 8 and the manager may or may not let me purchased them she said it depend on her mood. needly to say i couldn, t.i ordered a 8 peice original i got legs and thighs only i told the cashier that i don, t eat thighs she the manager said it would cost me more per piece for wings or breast. 13.00 for that order is very sad another custome returned with his order they forget his biscuit the cashier treated this man like a criminal about a order they screwd up.the apperance of your workers needly so say is a turn off. i will and have warned all my family to not go there, they response was we were wating on you to figure that out.

I went to the kfc in old-ham retail park . With my girl friend we go there ever Saturday and no mater what time we go at there is all ways one or two items, that they have not got its no gravy or no corn . i went there last week and they had no chicken its kfc. if you have no got the items don't adverts then. I will not be going to the old-ham retail park again it a joke. I will be telling my other family members not to go there. from now on tea on a Saturday night is not going to be kfc. i never complain but i am sick of it now.

Windhoek branch on two successive nights : No Wings, No Rolls for Burgers. Milkshake (advertised as new vanilla shake with real pods) was cup filled with ice cream. I asked and was told that that was the way it was made.
Walvisbaai branch. No Wings. Most rude service I had exdperienced at ANY franchise ANYWHERE in the world!

disrespectful workers
Visited the local KFC in Grovetown Georgia, and the worker, (by mistake) put the incorrect amount of Chicken with the order. I’m aware of that fact while I’m about to feed my family. I return to the KFC and ask to speak to the manager to lodge my complaint and the worker who prepared my order began to get angry and shouts out statements interrupting the conversation that the manager and I were having. The worker was so angry and disrespectful; the manager had to ask her to be quite. Needless to say she continued to talk and as I was leaving the establishment she brushed into me as if she wanted to start a fight. However she did say excuse me but I thought how unprofessional that is and how quickly a situation could become something more violent than necessary.
Even though I was reimbursed and given a sincere apology from the store manager I will never visit that establishment again and I will encourage all of my friends, co-workers and family members to do the same.
That work should be fired as soon as possible!

I agree she should be fired. That was totally unnecessary. The manager should do something about it and if I were you and he didn't, I would find out who the district manager is and start moving up the ladder until she is fired. There are too many good people out there that need jobs and obviously that slob doesn't realize how blessed she is right now with the way the economy is.
insects in soda machine
As we were drinking the soda we realized there were bugs/ants floating in the soda. When I went back to register to report the bugs, the employee said she already knew it before I said anything. She then called the manager and he also already knew and wanted to give me another drink. His answer was it was a new machine, and he will clean it that night. Why wasn't that soda machine put out of order if this was known. If I had the top on the soda I would not have known. I just wonder how many people drank the bugs.

Several times it happend that the chicken at Modimolle kfc smelled burnt. Other times, especially on sunday evenings, they don`t have chicken and then you have to wait several minites, even up to 20 min . Other times they forget to include the bun, when ordering a streetwise one. Several times I had to make a waisted trip to Modimolle kfc for nothing.

My complaint is regarding an online survey - The only rule is lists is that "no purchase necessary".
I go to the site - the 1st question is "would you refer this location to a friend or family member" I answer NO!

i had the worst service ever at a kfc #5302 in great bend, ks .first we walked in it was kinda busy ( I have been in the restaurant business for 20 yrs i manage a kitchen now) so believe me i do sympathize with these people when they are busy.the manager on duty was john wexler he took our order i said can we get our drink cups he said yes I was going to get them as soon as I close the register.We got our food in a timely manner for as busy as they were. but my husband mac and cheese was cold, my cole slaw was runny, and the biscuits werent done. sorry but i dont think i will be returning any time soon.Also the place was a mess and they were taking food off the buffet to do there to go orders so the people eating the buffet didnt have any food to eat and they were out of salt, straws, forks, lids ect.., the trash cans were all full and the tables were a mess.
KFC survey is a joke. I wanted to tell the top people that the food sucks. cold burnt and greasy. I said no to would you recommend and they said goodbye. I say goodbye and would never buy another thing at KFC. I did return the food and they would have given me my money back but that is not the problem the problem is Knowing when and how to serve food, and when to throw away food after a certain time.

Now I used to work for KFC and I know the grilled chicken pieces do appear smaller than the original/crispy pieces when they come out, but it's because they have no breading on top of them.

It was raining so I decided to go through the drive through - after 30 mins (And no way out of the drive thru) I was next to order, placed my order and moved to the next till where I handed the cashier my credit card, after trying 3 times she tells me they're offline/call audit office! No problem, I drove off as the food wasnt even ready.
I went back (Inside) after drawing some cash and I told her I wanted new food as its surely cold by now.
She then "shouts" the order to the back and refers to me as "this girl" not "customer".
I then catch them warming it up in the microwave and then re packaging it! I mean seriously! So I told her I could see what they were doing and they all had a fat laugh about this!
Long story short I recieved the food after about 1 hour and it was totally incorrect and had no sauce and the chips were ice cold, along with a pubic hair in the boxmaster!
Needless to say they definately put something in the food as both my bf and myself had food poisoning!
To top it off the payment went off my credit card 3 times!
I bet the paper roll just ran out and the incompetent cashier didnt even know!

I strongly agree as I've had numerous runi-ins with them. They don't even know what drive-thru means, you can sit and idle your petrol in that drive thru for 30+ minutes and still end up with an incorrect meal, which you realise only when you get home and because of their lack of service or is it non service, disservice...you end up not going back because of petrol costs and also having to deal with people who look at you as if you're speaking foreign when you ask them a simple question. Not even the manager can take a proper order. Last week some client ahead of me tried to back up after sitting there forever and obviously couldn't because there was a que behind her, she then got out and went to talk to the "manager" who found himself "dumbstruck and at a loss for word", he could offer no explanation for the tardiness and offered to take our order. By the time I got to the front, my order was completely incorrect...the other issue is that they offer you can swop your chicken for zinger, but there NEVER is any zinger or you have to wait for chicken and...and...and... When you started off in Milnerton it was an absolute pleasure to go there but NOW KFC MILNERTON YOUR SERVICE SUCKS...WHY AM I STILL BUYING AT THIS SHOP...ONLY BECAUSE OF THE KIDS I CAN"T WAIT FOR THEM TO CHANGE THEIR MINDS ON KFC MILNERTON...

On 8/16 I went to the kfc to purchase dinner for my family. I asked the clerk how many pieces of chicken in the variety pak, of which she replied 8 plus the popcorn chicken. When I got home and took the lid off the bucket, I almost fell over. The bucket was about 2/3 filled. The strips were about 2 in long and 1 in wide. The breast, wing, thigh, and leg were so small it looked as if it came off of a baby chick rather than a chicken. Smallest pieces of chicken I have ever seen. This was supposed to feed a family of 4! What a joke!
Check the bucket if you are feeding more than 2 people. I can't believe I paid $21.00 for this. What a shame & shame on kfc!

skimpy servings
I went to the KFC in Sandton (On Grayston Drive). Amongst other things I ordered 3 "sprinkle pops". All 3 sprinkle pops were about 5 centre meters from the top. The coleslaw which I ordered was also extremely "shallow". This is not the first time and is an absolute rip off. If the franchise is doing this to every customer they are saving a fortune. I certainly will not go back. I would rather pay more than be ripped off. I also tried to find an official website in South Africa and not even Google could find it so I have to assume there isn't one.

drive through service
My sister and I went to the drive through in Kettering and ordered a variety bucket for us and my children, however once we had done this we changed our mind to the bargin bucket which we felt would benefit more for who was going to be eating at home. On approaching the window we asked the gentleman if we could please change our order as (we had tried to do it at intercom but hadn't worked) the man at the window replied 'No' I proceeded to ask why not as the chicken had not been cooked especially for us and he said no I can't take it out once it has been entered...Just tell me what you need! My sister replied so you won't change our order, again the man replied no just tell me what you need! she sid forget it well just take it. So they prepared our order and we drove home, only to find that when we arrived home our order was incomplete, so not only ws the staff at this fast food establishment very rude but insufficient aswell...not very good for a large fast food chain with such a "high reputation" shouold that still be the case for Kfc. I look forward to your response.

They may have been rude, but that's the way things go. Once you've taken the food, they cant take it back because you "Changed your mind" if they got it wrong they'd have to. But otherwise they cant take it back because of OH&S.

We live in a town(chowchilla)that has very little restaurants; So were delighted when we found out that we were going to have a KFC/Taco Bell restaurant coming to town. Well, we have purchased chicken there 4 times now, and it has gotten steadily worse with each visit. The first 2 times, it was just fried chicken...No seasonings whatsoever. What ever happened to the "secret recipe"?
The third time, my chicken was extremely undercooked. I took it back, and was given more of the same. I couldn't believe it! I took it back again, and told the clerk I just wanted my money back. We as a family of 4 has a routine of going for kfc on every friday knight, we have been in this routine for about 8 months now and for the first time we have been disapointed with our food, we see ourselvs as part of the kfc family.
On friday night we have ordered our usual food, 1x family feast—2x dbl crunch burgers—2x zinger burgers—
The family feast only had one cole slaw, no chips at all and the 2 zinger burgers were invact 2 burgers rapped in the papper that you do the kiddies burger in, it was not even in a burger box, if im not mistaken it looked more like junior burgers.
I would like you to see that your staff maintain the good service and the quality of our branch,
We are staying 28km away from your store and if we stayed closer I would have returned it the same knight. We dont know if our order got mixed up with some one elses or were your branch short staffed and they were under presure.

The KFC in Lihue (only one on the island) advertises that they accept Visa credit cards. When I presented my card, I was asked for ID. I told her I had no ID on me and she said they could not accept my credit card without ID. The manager was brought out. I asked her if she was aware that the contract with the Visa corporation prohibits them from denying service if no ID is presented. She didn't know and didn't seem to care. The Rules for Visa Merchants specifically says, "Althought Visa rules do not preclude merchants from asking for cardholder ID, merchants cannot make an ID a condition of acceptance. Therefore, merchants cannot refuse to complete a purchase transaction because a cardholder refuses to provide ID."
I'm afraid I disagree with both of you. No need for me to "suck it up." The merchant has entered into an agreement with the credit card company. If the merchant doesn't want to abide by the contract then the merchant needs to terminate the contract. They enter into that contract with the credit card company in order to attract business...people use credit cards. I have entered into an agreement with the credit card company as well. I am willing to abide by the rules. I pay my fees, interest, etc. I use the card for convenience. If it becomes inconvenient to use it then that affects businesses as well as the credit card company.
Oh, and 'braddah', I've lived in Hawaii for over 11 years. The name is not arrogant. (In fact, from your comment, I don't think you know what either 'arrogant' or 'Haole Kahuna' mean.) It's humorous. My Office Manager, who grew up on Niihau, gets a kick out of it and I'm guessing he's a lot more Kama'aina than you'll ever be. But then he's a pretty akamai guy...not racist at all. And, from my experience, it's the racists who get upset over the use of 'haole.' Study the history of the word, the original meaning, instead of the corrupted meaning the racists of today use. I had my ID. The point is that they are not allowed to deny service to a credit card customer just because I refuse to present my ID. That is in their contract with Visa. And, no, they don't have to make sure it is me. All they have to do is check the signature on the receipt with the signature on the back of the card. When they run the card and it goes through then that is all the 'verification' they need. I have pasted below the section from the Visa & MasterCard Guidelines for Merchants.
"When should you ask a cardholder for an official government ID? Although Visa
rules do not preclude merchants from asking for cardholder ID, merchants
cannot make an ID a condition of acceptance. Therefore, merchants cannot
refuse to complete a purchase transaction because a cardholder refuses to
provide ID. Visa believes merchants should not ask for ID as part of their
regular card acceptance procedures. Laws in several states also make it illegal
for merchants to write a cardholder’s personal information, such as an address or

Having been in business (here in the islands btw) for over 20 years I know you are right about the Visa contract. However we still ask for ID to specifically protect our customers, ourselves and keep costs down for Visa. Visa wants to terminate our ability to accept their plastic then we neither need them nor them us. CC fraud costs ALL of us BILLIONS annually and its the very foot loose and fancy free attitudes of Visa, Banks and consumers like yourself that have us in the greatest financial mess since the 1930s. Like another posted noted, just suck it up (or choose to not patronize businesses that extend you the courtesy of protecting your financial interests).

That whole not checking ID doesn't fly well with all places. For example, I go into Fry's Electronics and they check your ID whether or not you've signed the back of your card.
Again... the question is asked: how would you feel if you got your card stolen and the person wasn't ID'd to make sure the card is theirs? Most people at the register don't check the back of the card... they just swipe and go.
Just suck it up and make sure you have your ID on you at all times.
They have to make sure it's you. Verification. How would you feel if someone stole your card and was able to use at will because they weren't i.d.'d?

today being the 24th of july at approx 3pm i was working all day without stopping when myself and my offsider were starving so we looked for something quick and easy to grab something as we had alot more work to do.Then we seen kfc and mcdonalds at kotara we chose kfc as we had thought it would be easier and quicker we proceeded to the drive through where the young girl greeted us but it must hace been along day for her as she didnt seem to want to be there.we ordered 1 zinger burger meal upsized and a ultimate burger combo upsized and 2, 3 packs of crispy strips we got to the next window and it was shut and we were looking through the window with around 3-4 employees looking at us we waited approx 3 min with no communication between us and them .Then they opened the window and passed our order through with the wordss here's your order we then proceeded to leave i arrived at my next job at toronto about 25min away to eat my lunch i asked my offsider to pass the chips and gravy to his reply you can have the gravy but we have no chips i was pretty angry as was he because we had nothing all day and we both love kfc chips .we could not go back as we were a fair distance away and had plenty of work still to do.I dont complain very often but i am this time as this has happened on numerous occasions where i have ordered stuff and havnt got what i paid for and i have now had enough .I dont think it is a hard thing to put the food in a bag after it is ordered and i have had to pay extra to upsize and got less so really i paid her to take the chips out not put more in. i wonder how many times this is happening with no one saying something just like i have on previous occasions i hope we can sort this out asap for every ones sake
