we checked into room 156 on wed 7/31... price was $112. room had a refrig and microwave... front desk people were very nice and accommodating. room left a bit to be desired as tub and sink didn't drain at all... I ended up with a bath instead of a shower because water didn't drain. My husband and I are both Wyndham reward members with him traveling 200 days a year. we made a second reservation for 8/4 Sunday and was given a rate of $108.00. When we checked in and got the key the front desk told us it was for room 146 when it was actually for room 142. no biggie - went to the right room, opened the door and immediately noticed no refrig which my husband needs for his medicine. I IMMEDIATELY called the front desk and was put on hold for quite some time... Liza Luis finally got on the phone and proceeded to tell me that I should have requested a deluxe suite and the price for that was going to be over $135.00... crazy for a just a refrig... she was speaking to me in a very condescending manner and asked me if I had used the room or the bathroom. I told her NO as I had just unlocked the door. She then informed me she had to send housekeeping down to validate my comment... really?! My husband went to the front desk and was treated very disrespectfully by her and she denied her comment about housekeeping coming to check the room. we are both in our mid 60's and found this inexcusable and then she wasn't going to provide us with a room! and was going to call the police. I have attached photos of what this so called deluxe suite looked like... deplorable to say the least. what will be done to compensate this awful experience.
