My daughter went to the LabCorp location on Stewart Drive in Orange today for blood work. During the blood draw, the phlebotomist appeared distracted and inserted the needle far too deeply, causing my daughter to experience an immediate electric shock sensation shooting down her arm. It was extremely painful and clearly felt like nerve involvement.
Since the appointment at 10 AM, she has been in significant pain and still cannot fully straighten her arm. This is very concerning.
I attempted multiple times to file a complaint through their website, but the complaint/rate your explanation page will not load — it just continuously spins on both desktop and mobile devices.
What’s even more alarming is that after speaking with friends and family, my sister told me the exact same thing happened to her at this same location about six weeks ago. This raises serious concerns about the training and competency of the staff performing these procedures. I can only wonder how many other patients may have experienced similar injuries.
Desired outcome: Phone call
