Perkins Restaurant & Bakery / Perkins & Marie Callender’s review: appearance of restaurant

My husband and I visit this location at least twice a month. The service is excellent, the food is great and the staff is pleasant.
The restaurant is very run down and feels almost dirty, though I doubt that it is. The carpet is disgusting. On rainy days, there are buckets to catch leaks. It makes me not want to return since a pleasant ambience is part of my dining out requirements.
I know that some locations are franchises and if that's the case, please forward my comments. If this is company-owned, please consider a remodel. I truly believe it would be worth the investment.
