unlimited shrimp meal
On November 6th my mother and I ate at Red Lobster in Niles. We both ordered the unlimited shrimp dinners. Our greeting, salads and biscuits were wonderful, as they always are. They were packed for lunch and we waited a very long while for our food. We were were patient with that, however, we understood that they were short staffed for some reason due to the fact that we heard the hostess/manager on several occasions ask servers if they were willing to stay over their scheduled time. There seemed to be no shame in allowing customers to be aware that things were not running smoothly.
We both ordered the fried shrimp dinner. When our meals came to the table our shrimp was soggy and left little to be desired. As we were aloud, we order more of the same type. When it came it was just the same. Again, as we were aloud, we ordered a different kind of shrimp and it was somewhat better because it was not battered. The reason we went there for dinner was that we both wanted the fried shrimp so we were very disappointed. We budget our money, as everyone else does, and we do not treat our selves to expensive meals very often so this dinning out experience for us was not a happy one. We are not "those people that complain about everything" (we know those people DO EXIST) and we sat at the table when we ordered our last shrimp discussing whether or not we even wanted to mention how dissatisfied we were. I am a professional in retail myself and I made the decision that I would want this communicated to me. I asked our waiter to cancel our last ordering of the shrimp and to please send the manager over. She gladly did just that. The manager ending up bringing our last order of shrimp to the table and was very willing to discuss this matter with us. I started by telling here that we were not out to get a free meal but that we did want to explain our opinions. She explained that they were so busy and that the chef was making shrimp so quickly and piling it in containers (which was the reason for it being soggy). She apologized repeatedly. We explained to her that our waitress was wonderful and that we felt bad for her having to apologize to all of the angry customers all day because the shrimp was not being cooked to the usual "perfection" that Red Lobster has the reputation for preparing. She thanked us for our opinions and kindly excused herself from our table without ANY offer of a discount or gift card mentioned. We were sadly disappointed. Red Lobster #0366, Table 1, check # 68870, server was Victoria M., 16:10:12 Thanks for listening. Melissa Allen
terrible service
On Sunday November 13, 2015 I went out on a date with my significant other to celebrate our anniversary. For our first date 2 years ago we went to Red Lobster, so we both decided to go eat there. To begin with, the wait is extremely long. After we got seated, the table was not properly clean and the chair still had crums. After waiting an additional 20 or so minutes we got asked what to drink and it took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. We then placed our order. My food was not properly cooked correctly and we were never asked if we wanted a refill for our drinks. This has seriously been the worst experience with Red Lobster, and it's very unfortunate because I extremely enjoy eating there.
amount of food for price
I bought the 11.99 lunch pick 2 so I ordered the hand breaded shrimp and scampi.to go. To my amazement when I opened the I had 4 little scampi the size of my little finger and smaller also the hand breaded shrimp had 6 extra small shrimp. I will never go and pay for that again and I will tell anyone who will listen to keep away from the RIP OFF
I agree with complaint
lack of product
After watching ads on tv all week about red lobster's king crab legs, my wife decided that was where she wanted me to take her for her birthday dinner which was yesterday sunday july 17th ! that his her most favorite of any seafood dinner ! after we were seated and given menus, my wife told the server " i know what i want without a menu! it happens to be my birthday and i would like the king crab legs " ! when she was told by the server "we don't have any" in those exact words, i have never seen such a disappointing look on my wife's face in our 30 yrs. Of marriage ! thus is unacceptable and inexcusable ! red lobster should have not continusly ran the ads if there was any doubt about the availability ! will never go there again !
After 30 years of marriage she should be well used to disappointment if that is the attitude she has lived with all this time. Shame on you.
lol,
1 store does not represent all the stores in the area. and the adds on TV and radio is national tv adds, not local tv franchisee adds
service/product
My experience at Red Lobster today was terrible! The restaurant was basically empty, however, we were stuffed in a little table with a waitress with no experience. We begged her for bread. We asked simple questions about the menu and she was unable to answer anything. The meals were fine except when we asked for a few extra items. We felt as though we were asking for too much from the waitress. One of the deserts contained hair, but we were disgusted at this point and left it on the table. We spent between two checks 180.00 plus a 12.00 tip. We couldn't offer 15% considering our terrible experience.
bad place to work
Red Lobster in Rockford Illinois is a terrible place to work. I had worked there for 5 years before they fired me for "lying" on my application. My lie was the least thing they needed to worry about like, the stealing of people's belongings, sexual harassment from a certain female manager Debbie Anderson, racism, cutting employee hours for managers own financial gain. That's just some of the BS that was going on. Also having 4 mangers in house and 1 district manager all telling you how to do a certain job but in five different ways. The treatment of kitchen staff is crazy too. Cooks are not allowed to have drinks by them or taste the food even if it is extra but the servers are on their phones, eating, drinking, or trading prescription pills with certain managers. The managers are all complaining about spending too much money on supplies and extra hours, but they must being doing fine if they all buy new cars in a year's time. Insurance is a joke also. I'm not saying everyone is bad but some individuals get off on throwing other people under the bus there. I'm not saying I didn't lie on my application but after 5 years of service with no problems I think it's BS that I had to be let go. This shows me that Red Lobster corporate doesn't care about they're employees only money. I will never go back to this restaurant again and will spread the word around about this terrible place and the way they treat their customers and employees.
food
June 9, 2016
I took my husband to eat at Red Lobster-Texas St., Bossier, La. We ordered 2 of the better meals an they were both awful. My husband ordered the butterfly shrimp and what he got were small over cooked shrimp--hard as a rock.
I order a combination including lobster an it was all awful--the tiny piece of lobster I got was like chewing a piece of rubber.
I paid $42.43 for garbage I wouldn't feed my dogs.
I hope they enjoyed my 45 dollars as it will be the last they get.

Only an idiot would post their card information on the internet. A good scammer only needs the last four numbers to steal your identity.
On another note, if the food was so awful, perhaps you could have said something at the time instead of waiting til you got hom to jump on the internet.
understaffed
My husband and I went to Redlobster at 7 PM on 2/15/16 to celebrate my birthday and avoid Valentine's crowds by going a day later. When we arrived we noticed many unbussed tables and 2 sections of the restaurant "closed" and people waiting in the lobby. The hostess told us there would be a 40 min. wait. Another man said he had been waiting 1 hour already. The manager said they were understaffed and she had calls out for workers to come in. It was already 7 PM. What a disaster-we left.
I was at the Grand Junction, CO location, it had to be the worst meal I've had, and the bathroom was so dirty.
the food
On January 28, 2016 I and my party of 9 had dinner at Red Lobster on Auth Road in Camp Springs MD. It was my Birthday dinner. The food made several of us ill, myself included. The morning of January 29, 2016 I awoke to stomach cramps and was late for work due to my stomach being upset and having to remain on the toilet for 30 minutes. One of my daughter had to remain home from work due to her stomach not feeling well, another daughter felt sick as well. No one in my party really enjoyed their food. The popcorn Shrimp was over cooked, the Salmon had a funny taste, the fries were close to being burnt, the Lobster dish was bland, ect. The time of our dining at this Red Lobster was around 8:30 p.m. our server's name was Allan, he was a great server not blaming him but the cook or the cleanliness of the preparation area must be the problem. Myself along with ALL of my party have decided we won't come back to that Red Lobster the only thing on point were the biscuits. Thank You

sue stinefast grabowski is evil and crooked
In 1994, Sue Stinefast Grabowski hired Melinda Vander Vieran as the new manager at Red Lobster Brown Deer in 1994 after Justin Matherne got fired.Melina cost me and the other Red Lobster employees their jobs. The other co workers walked out and quit because of Melinda's craziness and foolishness.I quit Red Lobster because of Melinda cut down my hours and she never gave me a raise at Red Lobster. In mid 1995 Melinda got fired for stealing money from Red Lobster. In 1994 and 1995 Melinda got greedy and start stealing money from Red Lobster. Sus Stinefast Grabowski hired managers Ed Travis and Johnny Moore at Red Lobster Wauwatosa. They were evil and crooked too at Red Lobster Wauwatosa in 1996. Do not work at any Red Lobster in the United States especially Wisconsin!
the smell of the restaurant!
I went to Red Lobster located at 2201 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd in WPB Fl. I was greeted by the smell of 20 year old dirty carpet. As bad as I wanted to sit down and enjoy a nice lunch date with my sister. I could not tolerate the musty, moldy smell that crept into my nose. It has to be a way that they can have the carpets cleaned. It is bad for business to...

general manager
Hello, my name is Arielle Holmes. I'm currently employed at Red Lobster located at 170 Wolf Road. I have only been employed there for 2 months and already have many issues to discuss. On Monday May 4th, I sat down with a Manager by the name of Jeanie. I informed her that I may be putting my 2 weeks in due to me getting a job at AFLAC as an Insurance Marketing Coordinator. I currently attend SUNY Albany full-time in Business Management and Marketing. Finding out that I received a job in my field was an opportunity I couldn't give up. Jeanie asked if I wanted to work both jobs. I told her that I would, but I'm not happy working here. There's servers who pay hosts to seat them more tables, despite my 5yrs of serving experience I still get seated 2x LESS than other servers, and communication is lacking between General Manager Krystal, and the rest of her staff.Jeanie respected my decision, we ended our discussion with a hug and I informed her that I would personally inform Krystal with written documentation. When I returned to work on Friday May 8th, I decided to wait til the tend of my shift to inform Krystal. Within an hr, a big party was getting setup in my section and Krystal tells the hosts and 2 coworkers of mine that because I'm leaving Red Lobster she's giving the big party to someone else and taking tables away from my section. As a General Manager, I feel as though that was very unprofessional and vindictive.Krystal decided to talk about me to everyone else, just because I got a job in my profession. I had no idea that I would be penalized for respectfully giving my 2 week notice. Since I've been employed a total of 5 employees have left or put in their notice, 1 fired because of calling corporate on Krystal. I do hope this changes the way things are done at this location. I regret taking this position and do not plan on ever returning to this restaurant for work nor dining in it. I have never been discredited due to me choosing a favorable outcome in my future
the worst place and awful services
People, stay away from www.redlobster.com. we attended this place, but it was big scam. The services and attitude were the worst. As well as we ordered one dish, but the waitress provided completely different and refused to change it. She told me that it was what we ordered. Wtf? We were shocked with such attitude and services, so be aware when you attend this place. As well as share your views about them.
My friends and I went to the Red Lobster on 6535 Airways Southaven, MS the service was horrible we were there for an 1hr before we were seated and then it took another 15 min for our waitress to come to the table, then our liquor orders was not right one of my friends coffee was so weak she had to send it back the. She ordered a Long Island Iced Tea that was not fixed Probably, we had no silverware to eat with, our food took and hour to get to the table and then with the endless shrimp they kept running out of shrimp, the other waitresses were on their job but the one we had she was horrible we kept seeing shrimp going to other tables except for ours and there was a smell like spoiled sea food
The only good thing was that the manager comp our food and one of my friends none of his good was right Red Lobster is really going down hill and all locations need a face lift
bad food
The food was disgusting. The clam chowder was flavored water that obviously came out of a can. I had to douse it with salt and pepper to eat it. The salad had no color to it and had no taste to it. It too obviously came out of a bag. The shrimp linguinni was floating in a greasy substance. I took 3 bites and put it aside. The waiter saw that we really didn't touch most of our food and asked if it was ok. We should have never paid for it! But...we said it was just ok. Half way thru I heard my wife's stomach grumbling and she heard mine. We both had to use the bathroom 1/2 way thru the meal. I actually threw my left overs away in the bathroom. We had to pull to the side of the road because we each thought that we had to vomit. The food was disgusting and processed! We filled out the survey like the waiter told us to and Red Lobster NEVER contacted us per our request. HORRIBLE!

$75 dinner for 2 was freezer-burned
I am a single mother on a low income. I took my son to Red Lobster in Mesquite, TX where we have eaten on occasion, usually with a gift card. But with a $25 gift card, I'm still spending $50 for what should be a high quality meal. I could have gone to Applebees if I wanted to spend less for comfort food. We went to Red Lobster on a Monday evening to avoid the crowds, and we were seated quickly. My son & I both ordered the king crab legs and we waited 45 minutes. We were hungry & the salad and bread were gone by the time our entrée arrived. I noticed every one of the crab shells were slit open, but I didn't think much of it until I tasted it. The crab was rancid - it tasted old and freezer burned. Apparently it had been frozen, and I think the cooks split the shells open to attempt to hide that they were freezer burned. But I know how teenagers and young adults are these days, working as servers and cooks while they can't stand to be there. If you complain, they will take your plate back but then they will spit on your food or something. So I didn't complain - I paid the $75 for the spoiled crab but I will never go back to ANY Red Lobster again. That's way too much money to spend and very dangerous for the paying customer to be served spoiled seafood.

terrible service, and absolutely no customer service!!
On Wed the 4th of September, I met my son and grand daughter in Fredericksburg (Red Lobster) to celebrate my Bday.I always meet my son there, because he lives n Maryland n I live N Richmond, va.and that's the half way mark. The employees @ that Red Lobster has absolutely no training n customer service .I was setting on the porch waiting for my son and I think it was a shift change, I can tell you around 8 employees walk right by me, didn't speak or nothing, once inside the service was terrible, no smiles from the server or nothing, they need to start having customer service classes for their employees .I'll Find some place else n Fredericksburg to have my Bday Dinner. We Spent around $50.00 on our meal. If I'm spending money n Red Lobster @ least give great customer service.

worst seafood restaurants & job discrimination
The Red Lobster Restaurants in Georgia-Carolina, all are known for supporting job discrimination against African-American men- wrongful terminations, and failing to keep them employed! But also Red Lobster has a growing bad reputation for cheating customers, on the quality of seafood that they eat there! The seafood portions continue to get smaller and smaller, and the food gets more over-priced, and as always; the customer service by restaurant managers & servers continues to get worse and more unprofessional! That's why I stopped eating at any Red Lobster restaurant, and many others are doing the same! So save your money, if you want good seafood & restaurant service- EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE!

overpriced & lousy food service
The Red Lobster Seafood Restaurants (overpriced & lousy food service) in Augusta Georgia HAVE Lousy Restaurant management; the manager Beverly, is incompetent and continues to hire bad employees! The seafood is way overpriced, reported food poisoning, restaurant staff are often rude to customers, and Kitchen Staff keeps cutting food portions & ripping off customers by falsifying customers' signatures on receipts, to get more money for tips, (by stealing their credit card information! That's why they continue to lose customers (and they have been losing a lot lately!), and due to job discrimination- they also keep losing good employees! (The worst Red Lobster Seafood Restaurants ARE ALSO IN AIKEN, SC.! STAY AWAY)!

It sounds like they apologized for your poor experience which is absolutely what they needed to do. They are in no way obligated to provide you with a discount or a gift card and it is ridiculous that you are "sadly disappointed" in this. Clearly you were not JUST interested in having your opinions heard, but wanted something more than that. If you felt like you should have received something else, you could have been direct and asked the manager for some sort of compensation.
