Holyoke Mass Red Robin. Waitress was also bartender. Not pleasant. We ordered, over a half hour later no fries had come, we asked where they were - her response? "You didn't ask for them." Really? RR always brings your fries first. So she lumbers off (correct description) and 5 or so mins later she comes back with one container of steak fries, (We had ordered one steak fries and one sweet potato) dumps them on the table and takes off. No sauce either! We flag her down and ask where the other fries were and the sauce - and yes, her response was 'you didn't ask fore them'. We told him, well, if we asked for our fries, we assumed you would figure out to bring them both! Snotty waitress. Instead of apologizing, she walks off saying, 'I'll get the manger.' Some guy comes 5 or so minutes later, and I c an tell as he walks up, he's got an attitude. instead of being respectful to two senior citizens (one man, one woman) he says "Hey guys!' I say, 'we are not guys, I am a woman. Then, when we tell him that we wanted our fries and some sauce in advance like we always got, and that we expected our waitress to ask if we wanted them, he tells us that RR doesn't do that. Yeah, we called him a liar, since we had been in RR within the last 6 months, and yes, that is how it was ALWAYS done. Then he lies to us again and tells us that it wasn't done like that for over 5 years. Amazing, he said that he was told that by the manager of the closed store we used to go to, and why would he happen to have that information? So, we start to leave and then he mouths off and said he was throwing us out of the store. Yeah, when you close RR stores, maybe you should have closed this one with the bad help in Holyoke, Ma instead of the one with the nice employees in Wilbraham, MA. Never going back.
BTW, I was a waitress for decades and my hubby and I owned food trailers. so - we know how customers SHOULD be treated.
Desired outcome: Who cares? I doubt you will close the store or fire the help - since you can't get good help these days - and these employees sure prove the low quality of help.
