In 2002 I purchased an aircraft and paid cash for all except $12,600 which I financed with Regions. I paid off the loan according to the terms but Regions failed to release the lien filed with the FAA. When I tried to sell the plane, the title search showed the lien still active which impaired the title. The lien amount was withheld from the settlement and will not be paid until the lien is removed from FAA records

Desired outcome: Do whatever is necessary to remove the lien as soon as possible.
