Republic Services review: Unhappy with service

I have lived in Upper Allen Twp or Cumberland county PA for 35 years and have never had my trash service be as bad as it has over the last several weeks. First my trash along with all the surrounding neighborhoods didn’t get picked up for about a week and a half. Then it has now been 2 weeks and again it has not been picked up yet. Mine and many neighborhoods in my area now look like a dump. Cans are overflowing and trash bags are all over the place as containers can no longer fit them. Animals have gotten into many of the bags and trash is everywhere. So many times I have had to pickup trash that blown into my yards. Calling I’m being told that they have been short staffed. Talking to people I know in other neighborhoods who’s trash is picked up by Republic on different days of mine they have been told a new manager has been put in place and have been looking at the slighted things to clean house of older and higher paid drivers by firing them. If this is true, we are now seeing the results of this persons and/or the companies mismanagement actions and our services suffering!

If you read this, complain to them and your township with hopes something will change and they will loose business as their results to save a buck. So sick of corporate America.
