Rogers Communications review: Cellphone cancellation fee to put in his own name. Media complaint

We called Rogers to put our sons cellphone in his own name. We have multi services with rogers TV internet and at the time 3 cellphones. We were disappointed to learn that there is an $80 charge for our son to put his cellphone in his name. We spoke to manager named Shub part of escalation team and she says this fee in unavoidable. The complaint is the money because we can goto another provider and there is no charge to port a number. To us this is very illogical fee considering we are cancelling his plan with rogers at a minimum and we are currently looking to cancel our everything based on this decision. I WILL BE GOING TO MEDIA and i will be cancelling if this isnt at least discussed. 10 years of service with 5 cellphones for 7 of those years and tv and internet.
