I am 1K UNITED customer who opened a checking account via UNITED app. Customer service at this bank is horrible. Personnel is not properly trained and info provided often misleading. They charge bank fee on new account opened without reasonable time to deposit funds on account. Half of banks do not recognize ACH or WIRE info for the money to be deposited. Some of the major retailers do not accept debit card from this bank as a form of payment. My attempt to reach out corporate office is failed due to fake or incorrect number posted. If you can DO NOT go there. Absolutely horrible financial institution.
