Debt collection is one of the more difficult platforms. I wouldn't want for it and thank God I've never had to work for or own a business in this area of work. To that end, I'll tell you a few things. Debt collection in she state of NY is jarring. It's heavily regulated and comes with consequences when you don't follow the rules. My advice to anyone who seeks to put this behind them is to learn your rights. Keep a close eye on your credit reports. Now adays with Google, and AI, you may have the winning recipe to overturn the matter, and put the debt collectors back up against the wall. So what are a few give me's? What are a few steps you can take to get under way when you're life is in financial turmoil. First things 1st; Assume nothing. Yea, you might have taken a loan from some company out there. But do you owe a debt to this company? The FDCPA may not be in alignment with what TBF is putting before you. There's a few things that jump out at me starting with your states statute of limitation. Has the debt expired? Let's for instance say you had a loan that originated in 2017. You stopped paying in 2018 and all collection activity ceased in 2019. No activity! Was this a business loan? did you PG it? meaning Personally Guarantee it? How did TBF acquire it? Are they the rightful party to collect it? Now, let's take a look at your credit bureau. What's that say? You do know that you are entitled to a free credit report annually, and that they too have an obligation to uphold. Time to get your note and pads out. Experian, Equifax, and Trans Uninon have obligations they all must uphold. 1. They must be 100% accurate. 2. They must be 100% VERIFIABLE 3. They must be 100% TIMELY. This means down the penny, to the day! Knowledge is power folks and now is the time to empower yourself. Take your life back, and remember, if you don't ask the answers aways NO. A word to those Gen X, Y Z and millennials

Recommendation: Know what your into. Take the steps before surrendering & just because it looks legit look harder. Words MATTER as do DATES & Good luck to you
