I am regular customer at Tesco St John's Wood as I live in the area. Yesterday i went to buy pastries at 8:32pm and security came and asked me to leave them, the reason he explained that the manager doesn't allow. I called the manager and asked for explanation for not allowing me to buy croesans that were baked on the day, he turned red, complicated and did not give clear explanation still was insisting to leave them. Apparently, all pastries in this store become free from 9:45, so the store employees including management and security ban customers to buy them, so they can collect them all and take home. Often we notice in this store so many pastries and they disappear right before 9:45 when they will become free. I wish Tesco management would have more clear policies on this rather than managers and security humiliating us, regular customers.
