NEVER EVER get a loan through Sallie Mae, TG, or any other such agency! They will rape you, your credit, and your wallet! Ive been trying to get some options on a school loan Ive had for some time, and TG just keeps lieing to me, sending me letters telling me they want to "help" me and "give me options", which is nothing but LIES. The few times I have called them to try and make payment arrangements, all I get are hateful "customer service" people who only say two things..."We want our money and we want it ALL NOW", or "We dont HELP people with thier loans, we just collect money". Liars, cheats, and frauds!. Thier paperwork and letters state one thing, and they speak the opposite!

Ive talked to a some lawyers about this, and they say I have to go through the states political structure to get anything done. So, Ive contacted some state politicians about this, and I was told that you NEVER want to have ANYTHING to do with Sallie Mae or Texas Guarantee...they are nothing but ripoff artists! They will LIE to you to get you to sign anything for them to give you a loan...then they will charge you astronomical charges for it, which they DONT tell you about, and if you have problems paying the loan after school, they will NOT help you at all...in fact they will try and get you to sign up for their other "programs" which add on hundreds or thousands of dollars in fees to your loan!

And if a politician calls a business corrupt, then it must be horredously corrupt for any kind of politician to say that!

According to the politicians, you are better off getting a bank loan, or some other kind of loan, because if anything happens and you can pay back your loan or you have problems with your loan through Sallie Mae or TG, then you are SCREWED! They have highly paid corrupt lawyers to get them out of anything.

Be warned! Stay away!
