Rented a car from Turo that broke down during my trip. When trying to obtain another vehicle, Turo was not helpful at all! They left me stuck & stranded out of town. I was on the phone w/ them off & on for 8 1/2 hrs and ended up renting a car through AVIS out of pocket. Then, they sent a very insulting email, which stated I had stolen the car, even though they sent THEIR OWN towing company, who successfully came and got the car at the air bnb I was staying at and brought it back to my state of residence, where I first picked up the car. All the representatives were extremely incompetent as they kept asking me the same basic questions over and over again but still NEVER resolved my major issue. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM TURO AGAIN and will advise others not to do so as well. I'm even having a difficult time getting a refund from them, so I'll just file a claim through my bank. If I had the time and money, I would absolutely sue them.
