Hello,
I went to Winn Dixie at 7921 Normandy Blvd on 6/3/26 approximately 3:40 p.m.. I went to customer service to make an exchange on 3 bell peppers which went bad in 2 days. I left the counter to go retrieve 3 bell peppers. On my back to the customer service counter I placed 4 juices in my cart. Lydia rung them up, and I asked her to ring up 4 more. I asked her could I leave my paid for items already bagged up at the counter while I go get the 4 additional juices. She said no you don't have to you can take the bags with you. She handed me two bags to put the 4 juices in, and said to me "JUST DON'T STEAL". I was torn into pieces with her comment. I went to get the other juices. I went back to the counter. Lydia said you're fine you already paid for them. I responded " I need to speak to you." I told her how her comment was totally inappropriate. She proceeded to say I was just playing, and didn't mean anything behind it. I responded Lydia you were totally out of line to say something like to me, and I'm not a thief. I asked to speak to a store manager. One store manager name Spencer heard our entire conversation, but was holding on the phone for Western Union. He told Lydia to call for another store manager by the name of Chris. Chris came I told him what happened. He only said to me I'll have a conversation with Lydia about it. He never apologized about the situation. His demeanor was extremely non caring and nonchalant. This unwanted act has effected me emotionally, and psychologically. I am contemplating on seeking legal advice.
