It's like a "buying tunnel", and the boss is a awful and mean person. I feel really bad for the lower level workers as *** mentally and verbally abuses them everyday. Don't get tricked by their sales plan either, it's a big waste of money, and the company will probably close in a year at the speed they are going.

Working with *** was great! He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his job. He answered our questions with ease. Our installer arrived early and got the job done in a timely fashion. The overall experience so far has been great! Our water feels great and taste great as well! I would definitely recommend this same team again!

I really like Hague Quality Water and what the company stands for. I learned a lot about the contents of our hard water, and they are very transparent about their processes and operations. The unit definitely pays for itself financially and improves your overall quality of life. The staff in Topeka is fantastic! They're really great. :)

I won a drawing and they were supposed to come to my house, but for three weeks in a row, they didn't show up or even bother to call. It's completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The manager promised to send me a gift in the mail, but it never arrived. This company is a total scam, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Stay away from this place and find another option, unless you enjoy having your time wasted.

I came home one day to find a salesmen testing the water. I dont know if he was going door to door or if he had called. My father (who is 89 and has no recollection of any of this) and my nephew were also in the room. In short, the system was installed 2 days later, as well as a free gas water heater as the one we had would not have worked with their system, and the workers were wearing masks. All of this was done before any financial agreement was made. I was under the impression that it was going to be a lease but somehow it turned into a purchase. I believe that my father was taken advantage of, and I dont believe that this company should have been coming around just a few days before the lockdown due to COVID-19. I myself sure would not have signed an agreement for $8000 for a fancy water softner, and neither would have one of the workers for the finance company they use, and I know this because I asked.

Hague called us and said we won $1,000 in coupons for groceries, restaurants, or hotels. We picked groceries. They said we needed a water test for the coupons. A guy came and did a long sales pitch for a $7,500 system. We found a similar one for $600 online. Luckily, I timed my son's bath and that helped him leave. When we asked about the coupons, he didn't know anything. I emailed the rep who confirmed our appointment and he said he would mail the coupons the next day. It's been two weeks and we got nothing. I tried following up with the same rep, still nothing. This is a scam. I feel dumb for risking my family's health during COVID, thinking we'd get some help. Shame on this company for lying and using pressure to sell expensive things.

Terrible high pressure sales tactics. I went to a local craft show to try and win a football jersey. I asked three times if they would call to sell me anything and all three times they said no, they just needed my phone number in case I won. So, I entered the contest with my husband's phone number since it was for him if we won. Six weeks later, my husband gets a call saying we signed up to have our water tested. He told the caller that it didn't sound like something we would be interested in. But she kept insisting he make an appointment that night and he would get $1000 in grocery coupons for his time. He said no, but she wouldn't give up. Eventually, he agreed to have someone come over the next day, but only because he wanted the promised grocery coupons. This guy ended up spending two hours in my kitchen and it was a struggle to get him to leave. We had to tell him that his presence and words were harassing us. We made it clear that we weren't interested in anything he had to offer. I had to leave the room so he could clean up the mess he made on my sink, counters, and island. He was a nightmare. I will never enter anything again or allow anyone associated with the Hague name into my home. If they called again, I was going to call the police.

On 10-8-22, we had a representative come to test our water 'cause we "won" a free smartwatch and a complementary water test 'cause my wife left them our info at an event. They gave us a pamphlet with info on how to get a smartwatch by mail for $20. If I'm payin' $20, then how did I win a "free smartwatch"? This is just another scam company ya hear about on the news. And the water test took over an hour and a half of our time.

I bought the product last December. I entered a sweepstakes and they came to my house. They said I would get free salt and maintenance for 10 years. But now they're saying if I don't pay $250 for preventative maintenance, my warranty is no good. I never got the contract, but I have all the other paperwork. I've told them this many times, but they just keep saying I'm wrong about the contract. All I want is what they promised me.

I recently filled out an application for credit with Hague Quality Water of Kansas City, Inc. Unfortunately, I received incorrect information during the process. They assured me that I would be taking a loan without any impact on my family's property, but the loan company ended up placing a security lien on the property. Now, I want to return the product and have this lien removed from my family's property. It was not their decision to have a lien placed on it, and I feel that the company did not disclose all the necessary information. I reached out to the bank for assistance, but they informed me that since the water company filed the application, they are unable to help.

Total scam! I won this contest thingy and they said I'd get a cool smart watch if they came to my crib to test the water. Dude showed up at 2:00 pm and bounced at 3:30 pm. When he was leaving, he handed me some paper and was like, "you can pay 25 bucks to get a smart watch from some shady online company with devices from the stone age, bro." Man, I wish I never wasted my time on this nonsense. Next time I need to fix my water situation, I'm going somewhere else. They had the audacity to offer me a choice between a smart watch, a Bluetooth speaker, a headset, or a mini vacay at some random hotel. I went for the watch, but all I got was a certificate to buy one. What a joke!

In May 2022, I went to this concert and Hague Quality Water had a booth where they were doing a drawing to win a guitar. I entered the drawing and wrote on the slip that they shouldn't call my number. My wife had been talking to them and scheduled a water test because we supposedly won a free prize. We couldn't make it to the appointment, and ever since then, they've been calling my wife multiple times a week from different numbers. They even called me today after my wife didn't pick up. They wanted to reschedule the meeting they had with my wife, but I reminded them that they didn't follow my request to not contact me. I told them I would file a complaint.

I got a call sayin' I won a prize from a concert I went to. They gave me 3 choices, and I picked the 3 day-2 night hotel stay. They said I gotta let someone come and test my water to get the prize. So, this guy came out on the same day (8/12/22) to test my water. He was there for like an hour and a half, and then he left without tellin' me anything 'bout my prize! The numbers that called me were unknown, so I couldn't call 'em back. I never got the email they said they'd send with instructions on how to use my getaway prize! It's really disheartenin' to see how heartless people can be to scam others in our society! I ain't gonna use this water company no more 'cause of this scam. The guy who came to our house was nice and all, but 'cause they didn't follow through on my "prize," I won't use 'em and I'll keep warnin' others 'bout 'em too.

I won a raffle for a free $1,000 and Hague called me to claim my prize. They gave me three options: a getaway trip, $1,000 in free groceries, or $1,000 in shopping. We decided to go with the free groceries. The person on the phone told us that in order to redeem our prize, we needed to get our water tested. They said it would only take 30-45 minutes.

When the man came to our house, he was very unprofessional. It took him an hour and a half to finally tell us the cost of their system, which was over $7,500. We declined, but he kept trying to persuade us by lowering the price just for that day. He kept dropping the price repeatedly. Even after we said no multiple times, he tried to create tension between my spouse and me, suggesting that he would leave the room and pretend to go to the bathroom so that one of us could convince the other to buy at an even lower price.

Here are my main concerns: 1. The raffle they offered was a scam. You don't actually win $1,000 as advertised. 2. The water test consultation is just a sales pitch where they inflate the price to deceive customers.

We signed up to have our water tested back in 2019. Cuz of covid, Hague water was behind schedule and finally called on 10/7/22 to schedule a test. Yesterday 10/11/22 *** from Hague water showed up at the scheduled time to provide a water test at 5 pm. It took him just a little over an hour to run 3 or 4 tests on our tap water. At around 6:05pm we agreed to sit down and talk about pricing for a water treatment system for our crib. Somewhere in his super fast talking, we went from talking about water treatment to buying soaps. Fast forward to 6:30 pm and Mr. was still going on about soaps, so we told him we needed to cook dinner for our kids and get ready for bed cuz we gotta wake up early for work. Ten minutes later, Mr. was still trying to sell us soaps, so I told him for the 3rd time he needed to get his stuff and leave, or we'd have to call the cops to get him outta our crib. Finally, he got up and collected his stuff but was still trying to keep selling. I contacted the company that same night to complain about Mr. and the operator said I'd get a call back today on 10/12/22. But guess what? They never called back.

We've been customers of Hague Quality Water services for over 20 years. We always do what they recommend and have them come out for every service update they send us. They should have records of this. In the winter of 2018, we had them come out to do their routine work on our system. I don't remember the exact date. A few months later, we discovered that the reverse osmosis system was leaking. We asked them to remove the system and fix the damage. They did as we asked. The guy who took out the system told us that we had a mold problem because of the leak. He had to remove the floor and sidewall of the cabinet. There was also mold behind the drywall. I spoke to the Hague management and asked them to fix the damage. They said they removed the system like we wanted, and that the damage was our fault and our responsibility to take care of. My wife tried to talk to them and get help, but they didn't listen. Finally, I contacted the national corporate office. They told me that they're not responsible unless the franchise owner admits there's a problem with the product. We feel like we did everything Hague asked us to do over the years. I never touched the unit myself. Their records should show that we called whenever we needed something checked. Now we have to pay at least $8000.00, maybe more, to remove the mold. We're asking for help with this. We have three companies, ***, ***, and ***, who are willing to write letters saying that the reverse osmosis system caused the damage. I spoke to ***, the regional manager for Hague ***, and *** from Hague upper management ***. Mr. said he would call me back, but he never did. I reached out to the local franchise two weeks ago and still haven't heard back. We would appreciate your help.
