I am filing a complaint against Brussels Airlines regarding an unresolved reimbursement case (Case no. 2601-SN-03830).
Following problems encountered during my flight from Brussels to Kinshasa on January 13, 2026, Brussels Airlines opened a compensation/reimbursement file and requested my banking details (IBAN/BIC and address), which I provided immediately.
Since then, despite several follow-ups, I still have not received any payment, proof of transfer, or clear explanation regarding the status of my reimbursement.
On May 13, 2026, Brussels Airlines advised me to contact my bank to verify the payment, but my bank confirmed that no transfer was received and requested proof of transfer from the airline. Until today, Brussels Airlines has failed to provide any payment confirmation or effective solution.
I am currently in Belgium and I have repeatedly asked for assistance, including the possibility of changing the bank account or receiving a travel voucher/ticket instead, but I have received no concrete response.
I consider this situation unacceptable due to the excessive delay, lack of communication, and absence of resolution despite multiple reminders.
Claimed loss: 600 euro
Desired outcome: official proof of transfer. If payment cannot be completed, I request an alternative solution such as a travel voucher or airline ticket compensation.

Four months without a single proof of transfer is absurd. They're hoping you'll just give up. Document the entire timeline, then escalate to the Belgian Directorate-General for Air Transport — they handle these exact cases. Airlines tend to find the money remarkably fast once a regulator steps in.
