So, we had some windows installed by DHD Windows & Doors LLC back in 2014. Everything seemed fine at first, but then one of the windows started leaking water. They had to come back and fix it. Fast forward to this year, we were renovating our bathroom and found out that two sets of windows were not sealed properly. Water had been leaking into the walls for years! We had to spend a ton of money fixing everything. The store manager and installation manager both admitted it was their fault, but they won't take responsibility because they say the warranty expired. That's not fair because the damage happened right after they installed the windows. We wouldn't have hired them if we knew they wouldn't stand behind their work. So, be careful if you're thinking about using DHD Windows & Doors LLC.

This company is the worst! I picked *** windows & doors 'cause they said they were the best. I went straight to the maker 'cause I didn't want no middle man. The sales and install was smooth, the crew was great. But then my storm door started givin' me trouble right after they put it in. I told my sales guy and he sent a dude to do some "patch work". But it still didn't work right. I told them again and they said they weren't responsible for storm doors. They sent another guy to take pics. When I called back, they said the same thing! They told me to call some storm door people on the West coast. But those ladies said it was the installer's job. I don't get it! They put their name on it but won't take responsibility. I talked to the CT Manager and Retail General Manager but they didn't help. My storm door is a mess! It won't shut, there's a hole on the bottom, and no weather stripping. I even told them my puppy could run out and get hit by a car but they didn't care. I'm a single mom with 2 kids and I can't even keep my dog safe. Don't use this company! They only care 'til they get your money. I told 3 people not to use ***. It's been over a year and my storm door is still broken. It's a shame!

I got a quote for new windows from DHD Windows & Doors LLC in August . They said it would cost around $13,000 for one bay window and five basement windows. But when the basement windows arrived, they were a bit smaller than what I thought I was getting. There was a mix-up between me, the salesperson, and the contractor who measured the windows. They gave me a small discount, so I decided to go ahead with the project. They installed the windows in December, but the next day I noticed some problems. The main sash of the bay window had a big scratch, one of the smaller sashes was broken, and only one of the two anchor bolts was installed correctly. I also didn't get a screen for the bay window. It took two months to fix the scratch and broken sash, but I still don't have a screen and I'm worried about the safety of the installation. The company stopped responding to me, and I think I made a mistake paying them in full before the job was done. I trusted them because they're a big brand, but I'm not happy with the service. My order number is *** from 8/10.

We got 2 doors from *** through Max H on 07/30. The first installation date was 10/09, but it got moved to 11/02. On that day, the new door was the wrong color (white instead of gray), and the window was installed wrong by the manufacturer, so the installation team had to caulk the gaps. The front door had chips in the fiber glass and too much glue. We talked to Max H who said the factory was new and had issues. We found out the wrong color was ordered, and Max said they'd reorder the right color door and send someone to check the front door. The new but wrong and damaged doors were left installed to fill the gaps. On the 2nd installation date to fix the issues 12/16, the door was the wrong color AGAIN. Carolyn in customer service said the project would be a priority, and the right orders would be rush-ordered. We asked for a discount/refund and/or not to pay until we had the right product. Gary M said we had to pay because the doors were installed, and the financing was sold to ***. Today, 02/17, the 3rd installation date, the back door was the wrong color AGAIN, and the new front door had too much glue and an incorrect window pattern. Rich, the technician, said he needs to "go as high up the chain as possible" to fix it. Neither of the new doors were installed, and the caulking on the 1st door is failing. We called customer service, and Rich contacted Carolyn, who contacted Ali R. Ali is taking the problem up with corporate. Having 3 wrong and defective doors and a delay of over 6 months is not good. It seems like *** and its manufacturer don't care about their products and only want money. We paid almost $10,000, and the doors, installation, timing, and service are not worth it.
