I made train reservations through who I thought was Amtrak. It was in fact, Fly Away Travels. Someone there (my POC was "Marty"), refunded the tickets I WAS TRAVELING ON and I was subsequently put off the train to New Mexico in Cleveland, Ohio at 3:00 a.m. I was terrified. I was left in a dark parking lot outside the terminal and told to wait outside. Amtrak told me to find my own way home. I had to take a cab in Cleveland ($80.00), get a hotel room at the Travelodge ($70.00+), get a Greyhound bus from Cleveland to New York ($189.55), get a cab in New York ($30.00) and another train in New York to my home in CT ($34.50) I have called "Marty" to resolve this and get refunds for all the other expenses I incurred because my active traveling tickets were refunded while I was traveling in error. He has not returned my phone call. That is unprofessional and cowardly. I was the one put in jeopardy during my travels, but he hides behind a phone. I would never recommendFly Away Travels to anyone.
Desired outcome: I am owed $445.78 for all expenses I had to pay for because someone at Fly Away Travels refunded active tickets. The photo of the Cleveland Station is a stock photo. When I was left there, it had NO LIGHTS in the front.
