Jackson Hewitt review: tax preparation

The woman at the Jackson Hewitt tax in the Wal-Mart store in Hugo, Oklahoma charged my granddaughter, a college student, single mother of one, and wages of a little over $6000.00, $600.00+ to prepare her taxes for 2015. I have never heard of such a thing. If the preparer had to go in depth to prepare her taxes I might come closer to understanding the fee for preparing her taxes but right now I do not. This was the first time my granddaughter had to prepare taxes and she was overwhelmed with the cost. She did get the $50.00 gift card but still $600.00+ to prepare her taxes. My granddaughter is quiet and as I said this was her first experience with having her taxes prepared.
