I purchased a sofa from Leon's back in March 2016 and the salesperson convinced me to purchase a "Platinum Protection Plan" claiming that it extended the warranty on the sofa to 5 years. Recently the handle to put up the leg rest on one side of the couch broke. I pulled out my warranty, called the 1800 number on it and got to a company called Zucora. They informed me that the warranty actually only covered "accidental damage to the leather or fabric" and I had to talk to Leon's directly about the frame or mechanism's.
So I called Leon's and the I'm told that the warrant on the actual sofa was only 1 year! Very frustrating and I'm quite angry that I paid that extra money for the extended warranty only to discover it was just empty words.
Whatever you do, don't do business with Leons.
