Priceline.com Hotel reservations

Priceline canceled my reservation and refused to refund the amounts charged. I consider this down right theft. I only found about the cancellation, as I was checking in to the hotel. Of course the room I booked was no longer available. So not only did I needed to adjust my plans, i’m out the amounts I was charged — super inconvenient! On the phone with them, of course 1st the run around, check with credit card company, finally, 2 hours later, no denying they canceled the reservation, but said the reservation was non-cancelable and their policy therefore is no refund. Is that the dumbest thing you’ve ever heard? Well, let me assure I plan to pursue legal action. Buyer beware, caveat emptor!

Priceline.com Super 8 Hotel in Klamath Falls Oregon

This Place has no elevator in it, it's Nasty with rude staff, they don't care if your handicapped, I was told if I wanted my room, it's on the 3rd floor after telling them my wife and I cannot so stairs as we are both handicapped and I'm a 100 percent disabled combat veteran. Even after informing the front desk clerk that we simply cannot do stairs it was an attitude that it's our problem. My wife and I will be seeking legal representation as she was injured because she was made to walk up 2 flights of stairs just to get to our room, at check in after informing the clerk that we're handicapped she was going to put us on the 3rd floor, and it was the take it or leave it attitude from them. You can absolutely guarantee we will be contacting the corporate office of Super 8 Wyndom Hotels as this one's not going away, there's injuries on this for not being actually ADA compliant.

Desired outcome: Fix your Hotel, put on the website no Elevator, change the rating to 1 star, and refund the 4 nights, plus take care of the medical bills from this stay.

Priceline.com Charged me for rooms after I canceled

On Sept 13 I reserved 3 room at the Red Roof Inn for 9/22 through Priceline. This took 2 attempts. The first called was all set up and then nothing the representative just spot talking so I called back. I had to do it all over again because they didn't have any of the information I gave the previous guy. This representative gave me a registration number after he processed to of them. I told I got an email for the first 2 but not the 3 one. After I hung up it never came and I had to call again to get the registration number. The lady gave the number and I asked her what I need to do if I need to cancel it. She gave me the confirmation number and said all three rooms were one there and I would need to cancel before midnight on the 21st. I called and canceled the reservation on the 15th. When I called to cancel my reservation an automatic system said I would have to speak to a representative in order to cancel. When I spoke to the representative he said my reservation was canceled and $171 was returned ( the price of one room.) I repeated the price and he said yes, I was only charged for one room. All the rooms were under one name. On the 9/22 I called Priceline because I just happened to look at my account and I saw only one room was refunded on my card but there was a charge for the other 2 rooms. Upon calling I was blamed for not canceling the other 2 rooms. Then I was told several reason why I was being charged for the other 2 rooms. " I canceled the reservation on the web, ( which I didn't)" "I was told R.R.I would not cancel my reservation because it was too late." "I made 13 reservation which were denied but the 3 took." "The representative who made the reservations ordered them separately, but should have been order together."

When I made the reservations I was told if I need to cancel they would find them under the name. Priceline is blaming Red Roof Inn for not returning my money instead of correcting the errors they told me that were made by their workers.

Desired outcome: I would like for the $342 to be return to me being that I did cancel the reservation in the time stated.

Priceline overbook vehicles and left us stranded for two hours in which I had to hich a ride from a complete stranger in the middle of no where in today's society.. Dangerous! They have a hotel where it is gang invested, robbing and killing individuals in daylight. Very unprofessional, unclean and unsafe environment. Please note that, priceline will put no efforts in resolving the matter and you will be out of your money. I had to spent an additional 800.00 because of there lack of streamlining. This experience was traumatizing and has we relucted to travel. This was completly unacceptable! Beaware and be prepared!

Priceline.com Car rental

Upon giving the confirmation number to the Enterprise counter agent at the New Windsor, NY location,; I was charged a much higher price than the confirmed Priceline price. On the second occasion, I was presented with a three grade lower vehicle, causing my arthritic spine great pain.

I believe the counter personnel are causing the errors. After explaining the problem to the Enterprise Customer Care person, I was disconnected.

I confirmed that the conversation was being recorded, so that the veracity of my complaint is available.

Kindly advise Enterprise Corp of the problem, as I have had little success with the Enterprise system. I would appreciate notification in re the outcome of your investigation, so that I may proceed further if necessary

Thank You.

Desired outcome: Reimbursement of overcharges, and correcting the vehicle size. Kindly note that I am not requesting reimbursement for my time and expense in securing what is legally due me.

Priceline.com Denied Boarding a Flight on British Airline to Heathrow onward on American Airline to JFK New York.

On 18 August 2023, I and my 14-year-old daughter were denied boarding a flight from Frankfurt Germany to London Heathrow onward to New York JFK. No explanation was given by the British Airways gate attendant as we were embarrassed by the situation. they sent us over to Lufthansa Airline but to no avail, we again was sent away. No Hotel accommodation was awarded as we were unable to fall asleep in the Airport lobby due to the noise of cleaning personnel. We lost 1 to 2 days of our vacation due to the delay after finally flying out on Lufthansa the next day in the evening at 540 PM direct to New York. Arrived in JFK only to learn bags were not there when we arrived and were found 3 to 4 days later. My blood pressure pills were stored in my checked baggage.

Priceline.com Misleading price on shelves and not refund

Last week, I went to buy eye drops at the branch located at 1 Margaret Street, Sydney, New South Wales 2000. When I checked the prices, it said $10.49, but when I went to pay, it was $12.49, which I paid on the spot. I raised the issue with the cashier, who at first didn't believe me and behaved in a hostile manner towards me. I went to the shelf, took a picture of the product with the price tag and showed it to her. He called someone else and made me pay the $10.49 again. I told him that I was paying twice and that what he had to do was refund my money. He told me he was giving me my money back, which was not true. I showed the same proof of the double payment to the first person I saw, and he still didn't believe me. I went to another person, and he did admit that I had paid twice. Supposedly, they processed the refund, but after a week, I still have not received my refund, and I ended up paying for the product twice. This is not only bad service, but also false advertising to the consumer, which is criminalized in Australia. I will therefore be reporting this behavior to the CCC. My name is Angelica Rojas, and my phone number is (61) [protected].

Desired outcome: Refund, apologize, and take action with the staff

Priceline.com Horrible Customer Service and Policies

My flight was cancelled and I needed to cancel my car rental. Per. pricelines website I needed to cancel online. After cancelling online I was denied a refund, because I cancelled online. This dumpster fire company has been problems for a us before, but will not be a problem again. We are done using them. After missing my trip with my son due to flight cancellation I spent three hours getting the run around and being transferred with each person giving me different reasons for denying us a refund. First it was "we cannot confirm your flight was cancelled, and then it was "we cannot refund your rental because you cancelled online." Even though this was the online instructions given by the website.

Desired outcome: Take you business elsewhere

Priceline.com Wouldn't refund even when car rental company didn't have any cars

Thrifty car rental Maui had only a few agents for hundreds of rentals. took two hours to get a rental agreement, went to the garage and there are no cars and all those people who were in line are now in line waiting for cars. dozens and dozens of people ahead of me and 4 cars delivered in the next hour. Was told it would be at least another hour for a car. Contacted priceline and they wouldn't cancel my reservation since I had a no cancel/no mod reservation. Got another car anyway from another company in 5 minutes. the delay cost me a long panned hike into Haleakala with my daughter because we couldn't get to the wilderness camp in time since we lost three hours of daylight forcing me to find last minute accomodations. Priceline is standing by their no cancelation policy even though the vendor couldn't provide me a car and no one at priceline would tell me how long would I have to wait until they consider the reservation unfulfilled. 4 hours? the next day? eventually there is a failure to provide service, but priceline still thinks they get to keep my money.

Desired outcome: please cancel the reservation and return my money. 4 hours waiting for a car is a complete failure to provide service and the reservation should be considered void.reservation # K5523857700

Priceline.com Booked for 4 people, receipt shows only 2

I just booked a 6-night stay including breakfast at hotel Casa Iguana in Puerto Vallarta for 2 adults and 2 children. The receipt I received by email only shows for 2 adults. Can you please give me a receipt that shows the children as well? The hotel allows free stays/breakfast for those children under 10, but ours are 11 & 14, as entered in the search bar at Priceline.

Desired outcome: Send me a receipt that shows I paid for the children as well.

Priceline.com Priceline car rental

Priceline advertised a $36.71/day rental deal on a full-size sedan to be supplied by one of five car rentals. I booked for three days that came to $146.64 taxes and fees included. I added their insurance coverage for $13/day for a total of $185.54. The day after, I saw that $268.42 was withdrawn from my account and I went to my email to check the confirmation. Then I discovered that the rental has been assigned to Alamo and the rate changed to $55.29. I went back to Priceline online and put the same information and received the same advertised $36.71/day rate. I called Priceline and was told that it was nonrefundable and no cancellation. I was directed to read the contract.

Priceline is engaged in false advertising and changes rate in the middle of the checkout process after I have already agreed with the initial charge. Since I was using my phone with preset address and card information, I went on to submit not knowing their sleek practices. Alamo indicated that they encourage renters to use their website to avoid these scam practices. I talked to customer service agent and supervisor to no avail.

Desired outcome: 1) Cancel my reservation or stick with their advertised rate online. 2) I would like Better Business Bureau or any fraud detective and enforcement agency to stop this scamming practice.

Priceline.com Hotel booking

Booked a hotel room on priceline final price given was 27.35 then later two email receipts. One from priceline. One from agoda. I had no idea it would go through dishonest agoda. Anyway both receipts show a higher priced billed to my card that the price displayed, yes including taxes, upon payment. Worse I reached out via an app to priceline and only got a bot reply with a landlines number to call. It's insane. I have no idea what country that number us so I used agoda app and it has no record of my booking. However I also have an a

goda receipt. Very tricky way to increase final prices and avoid being contacted. I have screen shots but will share after a reply I don't want to risk my personal info being posted online

Desired outcome: Refund for over charging

Priceline.com Reservation cancellation fee

Be aware that priceline is not assisting travelers to Maui impacted by the tragic fires either by offering cancellation waivers and refunds. I contacted Priceline to discuss my situation on two separate occasions. They refused to waive my rental car cancellation fee when my cruiseline was forced to cancel the Maui port of call due to governmental travel restrictions while resources tend to rescue and recovery efforts after the fires.

Travelers be wary. In a time where communities and other travel providers are rallying to support those impacted by the tragedy, Priceline is all about penalizing their customers so they can make a few bucks. Book directly with the carriers and avoid Priceline at all costs.

My rental car company indicated that they could not help me because Priceline was in control of the booking and they REFUSED to cancel the reservation without their normal cancellation fees.

Desired outcome: Refund of cancellation fee

Priceline.com Past reservation

I want a refund for the amount I had to pay for all inclusive at my past stay when I booked it the site said all inclusive. I have talked to many reps no one ever calls back and customer service has been extremely poor stating that the site doesnt say all inclusive on it but in fact I have two screenshots from when I booked that it was labeled as all inclusive. Since then the site has changed and doesnt say all inclusive. This was false advertisement and I want to be reimbersed the 400 usd I had to pay to make it all inclusive. This is not my fault and obviously an error on your site. All reps say that they try to contact the resort and they cant get ahold of anyone but as soon as I hang up I call and someone answers everytime. I am extremely unhappy and I will continue to email call until there is a resolution besides telling me the site says not all inclusive. My screen shots say all inclusive 3 times on it and the book now button said breakfest lunch dinner and drinks included. My check in date was 8-5-23 to 8-7-23 at the mystique royalton resort in st lucia with a trip number of [protected]

I also have a ticket number of [protected]. I would appreciate if someone can actually call me back and help me out as this has been a horrible first time using priceline. My name is dave evers and my phone number is [protected]. My email is [protected]@gmail.com

Desired outcome: Someone call me as they say they will. Refund of extra costs i had to pay to get what the site said at the time of booking. Not have someone tell me i am lying and that the site doesnt say all inclusive and room change only

Priceline.com Rental car booking botched

I booked a flight and car rental through Priceline to travel from Hartford, CT to Tampa, FL on Sunday April 17 arriving at 12:22 am. My booking included a one-week rental of an SUV from Fox Rent-A-Car at the airport. My plane arrived in Tampa on time, but the Fox Rent-A-Car rental desk had already closed by midnight 12:00 AM. There were two other couples there, at least one (maybe both) were Priceline customers that also had pick-up times close to midnight when Fox was closed. One couple who had called Fox was told they close around midnight and the problem is with Priceline having made the booking. (I called Fox later and was told the same – it was Priceline’s error.) I called Priceline while in the airport garage and (after waiting a long time on the phone of course) was told they would only refund the amount paid but wouldn’t help me get another car – that was my problem, and that if there were no cars available, I would just have stay in the airport until 5 am when Fox would reopen.

Fortunately, I was able to book a car from Enterprise – the only agency still open. I was lucky as it was the last car they had, but it did cost $307 more than what was agreed to by Priceline (and just a sedan - not an SUV). After many subsequent calls and efforts in which Priceline tried to avoid my claim for the added cost, Priceline agreed they were liable for the additional cost, but I had to send a copy of the car rental receipt by email (they claim to have no mailing address). They know many people don’t have a scanner and will give up. They also don’t tell you they have set a 2MB limit on their incoming email, which of course caused my email to be rejected (as they intend). No notice is sent from their email and so months went by before I noticed. This was just the beginning of the run-around that lasted over a year – with multiple emails and phone calls (hours on hold) – with no responses or false responses that they were still “looking into it” every time I called. Most people give up after a year of their orchestrated runaround and lies, which is what they hope for, but I didn’t. One year later, they tell me for the first time, that my original receipt for the Enterprise rental sent to them a year ago was insufficient – even though they also had a copy of my credit card statement showing the amount I paid, and even after admitting in an earlier email that they had contacted Enterprise and “confirmed the details of my reservation.” Unbelievable nonsense! I think this was their last flimsy and dishonest tactic to avoid my claim. Surprisingly, even though it was a year later, I was able to get Fox to send me a final paid invoice and so I sent it to Priceline (and make it under 2MB). What would they say now – it was the end of the line for them – I had not given up! This is when they just stop responding, of course. I got no response to the invoice email or a follow-up. The last email from Priceline reads: “We have reviewed your issue again to confirm that we did not overlook anything that might support a more favorable resolution. Although we empathize with your situation, we are unable to assist you further in this matter.” Their file is closed. I wish someone would start a class -action for their unfair and deceptive business practices in avoiding payment of legitimate claims.

Desired outcome: Payment of the $307 additional cost plus an amount to compensate me for the time incurred in fighting all of their tactics.
