I experienced during my exam today. Despite reviewing the system requirements and successfully completing the compatibility checks both yesterday and this morning, I was unable to open the Core Resource Book required for the test.
Tech Support suggested the issue was due to using a work computer; however, I am the administrator of this laptop, which I purchased for personal use. My instruction email did not state that work laptops were prohibited, and I had already downloaded all required extensions and passed the systems checks.
I spent almost the entire two-hour testing period troubleshooting with Tech Support. Once it became clear that I could not reschedule without penalty, I attempted to complete the exam without the resource book during the final 20 minutes. Although I completed 38 out of 50 questions in the active test window, two test windows were open, and my results indicate that only the first question was submitted, which is incorrect. I asked the proctor if I could take a screenshot of the chat for you all to review, but I was told this is prohibited. The screenshot would have also shown that two windows were open during my test and how many questions were answered in the open window/tab that I was working on. The second tab opened while I was chatting with tech support and they asked me to switch networks. I also called Spectrum to confirm if the network was private or public. Spectrum confirm that we are on a public network.
Given these technical failures, I would like to request a resolution regarding my exam results or the opportunity to retest without penalty, or to be refunded. Below are my ticket number from today 5/12/26

Claimed loss: $85 dollars + time wasted + Issues caused me to fail my exam twice.
Desired outcome: $85 refund. Unable to provide any photos are I was prohibited from using my phone even after the test had ended.
