Advanced Wellness Research - cancelation problems

Canceled this product 3 times spoke to agent 5306 the first time, agent 0102 the second and agent 243 the third time. The company seems to have changed there name to netalab.com. I also have cancelation numbers that don't seem to help. I'm very upset!
They keep sending and charging me for somthing I canceled the first time was May 12th it is now Aug. Personnally the person owning this company should go to jail for theft, and deafinately fraud.

I had the same problem. Then I contacted my credit card company and gave them my information, you know account # Person who I spoke with and so on. To get to the point my credit card company took care of it for me and I haven't had a problem with them since. Hope this helps.

Advanced Wellness Research - false advertising/ enrolled against my will

I saw an advertisement online, in an article on Barbara Walters, for two supposed wrinkle produsts that she uses. There was an offer to try the products for, you guessed it, just shipping and handling. I ordered, paid and received a bottle of Dermacai Anti Wrinkle Serum. I tried it, it burns my very sensitive skin and it smells. For the small price I thought, Oh Well. Then I received my bank statement and found two shipping charges and two charges for over $84.00 and $89.00! When I called to talk to the "service dept." of Advanced Wellness, I was told that I had signed up for a monthly plan, that I would continue to be billed monthly, and that I couldn't get my money back, no matter what. A very rude gentleman, who didn't sound like he was on this continent, told me that I just needed to give it another chance and that I clearly was told that I only had 14 days to cancel after I had ordered the product. I informed his that I heard on such thing and that I want my money back. He told me to forget it. Do not, I say, do not buy anything from this company. They are a scam and a rip off. I fully expect that they will disappear overnight.

Advanced Wellness Research - scam

Scam scam scam scam scam scam scam scam scam scam!
3 months of calling to cancel delivery I got 3 different cancellation codes and product return codes I returned the items and credit was never received on all 3 occasions 3 phone calls to the company amazingly enough all 3 times the "computer systems were down" I called again today and was told the system was only down for 10 days they don't know how it wasn't canceled the prior 2 times! When I requested the shipments be canceled for the 4th time and insisted to speak to a "floor manager" who spoke little english and I was told that "he feels my pain and understands my concern" and assured me if I sent the cancellation request in e-mail form I would receive a response within 48 hours but how is that possible when the computer system doesn't work!?. I called the credit card company and they said they cannot stop the future charges. I see no other choice but to cancel my credit card and hope the charges will stop! This is ridiculous!
I am sending an e-mail to embarq thanking them for promoting this product on their website (not!) and suggesting they remove advanced wellness research pure acai berry from their website!
~buyer beware!~

This company stole from us. We called and canceled the product, and then, we got another shipment and an 80 dollar charge. When we called to try to ship it back, we were told that we would be charged 200 dollars if we disputed the charge on our card. The service was rude and threatening. Stay away from these people at all costs. It is a scam and we are reporting to a lawyer.

These people offer trial product and then charge you for part of it. My charges on my credit card are over $150.00 that they tricked me into with mice type.
Do not trial any of their product.
They are scammers and CROOKS.

I authorized a Visa card withdrawal only for Shipping & Handling as agreed for $4.99 March 21, 2009. Free 30 day sample, order # 240708. They also made an unauthorized withdrawal for $78.81 for a non-shipped order on April 06, 2009. Definitely fraud! I hardly had a chance to begin the free 30 day product. As noted above there seems to be two companies involved here.

I sent for the free sample on April 23, 2009. Cancelled the service on May 1, 2009. Was charged on my visa bill $9.99 in May and June and I want a refund for those charges ASAP!
Given the complaints I am seeing on this web site I think this is a habit which gouges consumers.

This company charged me for a product I did not order and won't refund the full amount. After several phone calls the most they will refund me is $60.00 after being charged $83.80. They do not represent themselves well and it is a complete scam. The first representative I spoke with was extremely rude. I will never recommend this company to anyone! I wish there was something that could be done to make them stop their advertising.

I have 15 days to cancel further shipments. However I was billed May 21,
2009 in the amount of $78.93 .
I do not want this shipment or any further shipments.

what I thought I was signing up for was a teeth whitening kit just for shipping chgs cost me 78.93 that they charged on my debit card. I was not aware i had to call in 14 days which by the way I was only one day late and they would only refund 20.00. I feel they took advantage of a senior citizen and everybody else who falls for this scam.

This company is a complete scam. They charged my credit card a total of $85.92 for items I never ordered. The bank I deal with knows them well. Not only did I get charged for products I did not order there is a charge because this company is overseas. I now have to distroy my credit card so they can not nail me again. Beward of this Teeth Whitening Now product.

Advanced Wellness Research - misrepresentation and deciept in an add and refusal to refund

I ordered a 14 day free trial for a tooth whitening product. I saw nothing stating you had 14 days from the date of order to cancel, or that it was a monthly shipping product. I received the product and used it for less than two weeks. It was supposed to last a month, it didnot. It did not meet expectations. Thirty days later I received another box of the product. I phoned the toll free number and spoke to the coustumer service rep. She informed me that since I did not cancel within the 14 day period I would be charged $85.92 for the product. She did not inform me I would also be charged $78.93 for the former order. I learned this from the online customer support web site. I was told I cannot return the product for a refund. The add is deceptive and misleading. I found numerous complaints when investigating on line. I have contacted my credit card company and given them my cancellation number N261803SR to prevent further charges, but I cannot dispute the above charges because I did not cancel within the 14 day trial period. It is impossible to cancel when you do not have the product with the information needed to cancel prior to the cancellation date. My order ID number is 261083 and the order is dated 3/21/09.My next shipment was dated 4/20/09 and the order ID is 400826.

Advanced Wellness Research - scam credit/debit card recurring charges

Ordered online with this company for a 14-day free trial, offer claims you will be charged $6.99 for shipping.
Received product, bunch of junk. My debit card was charged for $6.99 from a country outside of the us (cyprus). 12 days later I was billed for $69.99 and two weeks after that I was billed for $54.98.
Made 4 phone inquiries/complaints to the company, couldn't understand the representative who seemed like he was reading from a script. Got the same person 3 out of 4 times. Informing your bank to put stop payment on recurring charges only works if they charge the same amount for each billing. They are scammers so they know to change the amount for each billing. Bottom line, I had to cancel my card and get a new card which I will never use for another online purchase unless it's a trusted company like amazon. Do not purchase anything from this company.

The whitening kits: Denta White home & Brite Teeth Pro are both big scams. They tell you that you will get free trial period that must be canceled within 10 days of your oder, when you do cancel they will still charge you because is under their TERMS AND CONDITIONS section that partners companies could be taking such charges out from your account. I have Bank of America and I was explained that by them, they said even though you do cancel the products from main website, you still have to call 2 other numbers to say CANCEL ALL PRODUCTS SERVICES!

DON'T EVEN BUY THAT LIE THAT FREE TRIAL PERIOD! NOTHING IS FREE...

The same thing happened to me, they did not send me any invoice of the amount they are going to charge with the kit. No where they are saying that the product cost is so and so. later on they just charged my CC.
This is big scam going on. Please BEWARE!

Called and was told that i could be refunded only half of the amount that they charged me. Was given a cancelation # and a confirmation # for refund. After reading the complaints of others, I have closed my account and filed a dispute of charges with credit card co.

On march 24, 2009 I ordered the trial. on april 13, 2009 my cc was charged 78.93 - I immediately called the number and was told (by someone in india) that there was nothing they could do - I did not call in time. I of course screamed and hollered and said they had better credit back my account. I finally hung up on him (rick) was him name. anyway - I sent them an e-mail and copied part of their terms and conditions and it stated that I had 30 days from the time I placed my trial order to cancel - I threated them with the better business bureau - fox news, cnn, etc. who are on their website. I told them that if the money was not credited by 5:00 p.m. est yesterday that they would be sorry.

I dashed off a note to myfoxtampabay.com's consumer lawyer and they requested further information. I received notification from them today that they had contacted the company. they did not tell me exactly was they said to whomever answered but to let me know if I was contacted by them. I also filled out a dispute with my bank and cancelled my credit card.

I just went into my account and the 78.93 was put back into my account along with a.63 cent visa international charge - what the heck is that. keep trying people to get your money back - write to your local tv station - radio station and don't be afraid to keep e-mailing the sales email address. good luck!
