Birchbox review: Buyer beware

Not worth it. I subscribed on 4/19/26, I was charged immediately 4/19/26. I did not receive my order until 5/8/26. My first box was so bad and cheap that I decided to cancel my subscription immediately on 5/9/26. I received another box on 5/16/26. I emailed customer service to explain that I did not want the box and had cancelled the subscription. I was charged for the box on 5/1/26. And was told that it was too late to cancel and that all shipments are nonrefundable.
Customer service is not helpful and there's seems to be little to no resolution. I was scammed out of $50. I hope this serves as a warning to the next person.
