Costco delivery using innovel logistics and costco customer service

Poor service. First time, driver didn't show up, driver lied to the company's call center employee about his whereabouts. Second time driver changed the time at the last moment. They rushed up the delivery. Very rude. No knowledge about the product. InnovelLogistics gives 2 hours window for the delivery before one day but it is highly unlikely that they will come as scheduled. Driver is supposed to call 30 mins in advance, but they don't do that.

Costco should really consider other options to deliver appliances. Surprisingly, Costco's online order customer service after the incident was also not good.

I've been purchasing and using Litter Purrfect and now Simply Purrfect litter from Costco for probably over 10 years and until the last year or so I have been extremely pleased. However, I have noticed a continual decline in this product over the last year or so. It no longer controls the odor and the clumping is very hit a miss. Sometimes it clumps the...

Costco citi costco visa card

We've been Costco members for about 30 years and dutifully switched to the Citi Visa card when Costco no longer accepted American Express. The Citi card offers great rewards for travel related purchases, that is, if you can use it. Unfortunately for us, Citi cancelled our cards (no fault of our own) within a few weeks of an 11 month dream trip to Australia and New Zealand. We are big spenders and pay 100% of all our credit card balances each month. Australia has many Costco locations we planned to use. Before leaving the USA, we provided the travel alerts to Citi. This is a more cumbersome process than Capital One, Chase or American Express. Two weeks into our trip my card was declined at a store. I called Citi from Alice Springs, AU and got a message that their system was down and to try again later. I tried the international number again the next day. It takes about 5-10 minutes to get to a representative. Citi cancelled my card for an insufficient reason and said they would send a replacement. I told the rep not to because we would not be available to receive it and we would use my husbands card. However the rep did anyway. Of course, the cards were unable to be forwarded and went back to Citi. Citi then cancelled my husband's card. I called Citi and was told their system was down for another 4 hours and to call back. I did call back and spoke with a manager who was very apologetic but he could not resolve the issue. I wonder about the cost of international calls on my mobile phone. Too bad Citi mobile app doesn't allow for WiFi chat/email communications. Bottom line is don't count on Costco Citi Visa for travel. Thank goodness we have other reliable credit cards.

When I got to your store there were only 3 Mangoes left. I asked an employee and they said that as there were no more, that these would probably be thrown out. When I tried to buy them when checking out, I was told that Costco only sells these in groups of 6 and if there aren't 6 that she would not sell them to me. Thus she would rather throw them out then let me have them. Sad to have customer service so unhelpful.

Hi, I know your store is only for members. However, one of your members loaned me her card to buy some items for family members that were affected by hurricane Dorian in The Bahamas. We picked up about 3 carts of mostly toiletries and laundry products worth close to $900. I got to the self check out line, I proceeded to scan the membership card and I wa...

Costco citibank credit card

I had a membership through American Express. Citibank sent me a card which I did not ask for. I called them to cancel card. When Costco charged the membership to that card I was not notified. I never recieved an invoice from Citibank. Wrong email they told me. Unpaid balance accrued with knowledge. Credit reporting agencies dropped my score 150 points overnight. I called Citibank and though they are admitting fault cannot restore my credit score. I want this resolved asap!

Costco floral delivery

A floral bouquet purchased through Costco was delivered by UPS Next Day Air Saver to my home this afternoon, Sept. 6th. The instructions requested delivery on the 4th. and in at least 3 places it said to knock or ring bell. The box was left at the end of our long driveway. No notification was given. The temperature this afternoon was 97 degrees! The bouquet was hot to the touch. The pad holding the stems was dry and hot. The large white lily stem, 3 blooms, was dry. One of the spider mum heads was off. I know this was not an inexpensive arrangement and my son was disappointed to learn about the delivery. Linda Muxworthy

Costco member services department

Hello, on 9/3 around 5:45 PM I went to the member services desk because I forgot my card. I had changed purses and I forgot to put my cards back into my purse. There was 2 people at the counter, one person ahead of me and one behind me. I really didn't pay much mind to who the lady (Asian shoulder length hair )was helping but she was back and forth. There was an African American lady back there as well speaking to an elderly lady at the end of the desk. At one point there is a lady who was with two men, she seemed to be getting a card, she had to take her picture twice, I'm not sure what happened but she was there a while, the person ahead of me got his turn. By this time we were waiting a good 20 minutes. I could hear "Diego" giving him some information and going over it, telling him something about his phone, an app, I assume. Meanwhile the line is getting longer. The man behind me is getting impatient as well as I. The African American Lady finishes her conversation and heads over to answer a question at the return desk. About 30 minutes have gone by, Diego calls me over. He asks if I was waiting long, I reply "yes". He starts to hand me a form, he says well i just want to go over this new thing Costco is doing. I let him know that I'm not interested. I let him know that I have been waiting for over 30 minutes and I let him know that those people in the line have also been waiting and I don't want to go over the information. I would like to get may pass so he can get to the people behind me. He says, ok, but this is going to help you, when you leave your card at home. I say again to him, thanks, but I'm not interested right now, I would like my pass please. He continues, yes, but this will help you, all you do is. I say to him two other times, I am not interested. He say, Oh, your card has expired. I say to him, oh, I left my check on my refrigerator door. Can you wave it and I will come in next week and bring it with me. He says I don't think we can do that. I say, really I have done that in the past. He says, no you would have to have to pay to be able to go in. I say to him, in the past they have waved it, I come in here every week. He says, no. I ask If he can call the manager, to his left the African American lady is there, he says, here is my manager. I say of, you are the manager, she says yes. I then start to say, I left my check on my refrigerator, in the past I was able to come in the following week and bring it. She takes a quick glance toward that computer and says unfortunately, your card is expired and you need to go home and get that check or you will not be able to shop. I say to her, my son is at home, can he take a picture of the check that is on my fridge and you can scan it. She says not sorry we cant do that. I say is that a policy change, she says yes. I don't want to argue with her, I pay my membership and I left there pretty upset. I do my shopping which came to a couple hundred plus the membership. When I was at the register, I asked the cashier if when their members membership has expired and they have forgotten their check at home, do they still wave it or has that changed. There was one cashier and the helper, and they both said, no we still are able to do that. We get members that forget and we wave it and they come back and present the check. We still do that. I said to them, that lady over at the CS desk just told me she couldn't do that and made me pay for it. They both looked at each other, confused. They were very nice and helpful. I asked If I they can point me to her manager. They mentioned a name, I was waiting for my kids what were getting some food. I saw a young man and asked him if he was the manager, and he said no. I can't remember the name they gave me, it sounded like Alfredo, I want to say something Latin. This person says, he just left can I help you with something. I left him know that the manager over at the CS, said I couldn't wave the membership payment. He says, what manager was she wearing a red vest like mine? I say yes, he said, I believe she is a supervisor. I said, she said she was the manager, now I really want to speak to the manager. He called the manager, who I give him my whole story. He lets me know that they still wave if a lot of time hasn't passed, which I tell him, August is my expiration date. I let him know that she said she was the manager, he looked at me strange, and I say to him. I just found out that she is the supervisor, not a manager. He nods. I say to him, I wanted you to know. I have been shopping at Costco for over 20 years. i come in pretty much every weeks and spend hundreds of dollars most every week. I have been coming the the San Leandro for about 7 years and before that I lived in Fremont. I have forgotten my check on maybe two occasions and the manager has always let me come back. I its poor customer service to see that I have been waiting so long to get a pass only to be told that I have to go back home, or I can't shop. I know he will probably say something to her. I thought you should know. I think a simple look at the computer to see that I was a frequent member of that store to be confident that you would see me again and that there was no need to say for me to take a trip home and retrieve the check. I'm a loyal customer, and I love Costco. My name is Monica Calderon

Costco not being able to place an online order

I have a costco membership and tried to place an order online. The "system", although it connects to Canada Post and recognizes my address, will not recognize my postal code and therefore I cannot place my order. I order items all the time from other sources (i.e. Wayfair) with never an issue. Costco has now lost $1100 of my business and I will not be renewing my membership.

Costco costco online furniture

I have been a Costco member for the past 20 years +. Despite the accident and trauma I suffered due to Costco delivery, I continue to shop at Costco and spend about $ 5000-7000 $ in Costco stores annually and an additional 3000-14000 $ with Costco Travel. We are consulting doctors and lawyers on how best to settle this. And this is how Costco treats some of its most loyal customers:

We saw a nice looking book shelf in Costco for $ 400. But Costco store said they won't deliver it home. So, I bought the 2 book shelves from Costco online and paid extra $ 150 per book shelf for home delivery. Costco online website clearly said they will deliver it inside the house and not in the garage or block any front entrance or inside doorways. Each book shelf weighed about 300 pounds and the box measured about 4x6.5x2 feet deep. So, I paid extra $ 300 thinking it would be delivered inside my house and placed the order with Costco Online.

Surprise, surprise, 3 weeks later a truck shows up in my driveway with one driver/mover. The guy says I am going to put in your garage. I told him I paid extra $ 300 for inside home delivery but the guy would have none of it and flat out said and I quote " I don't work for Costco". You paid Costco, I deliver in your garage. After much arguing, finally the driver agreed to move it to my study which was immediately after my garage provided I help him to move. My first instinct was to turn him back and say F-off. But, I had waited for the shelves for 3 weeks and took time off from work to receive them. So, I reluctantly agreed to help him unload and then put it on a buggy and move it inside my house.

While helping to stand up the shelf in my study, I was lifting the box only with my left hand as I was in a corner and in the process tore my left arm bicep. I knew right away once I heard a snapping noise and the pain shot through my left arm. I yelled and told the mover I had injured my left arm and ran to my refrigerator to ice it hoping it was just a sprain. By then 1 book shelf was in place and now the mover calls me out to move the 2nd book shelf. I told him my left arm was already injured and the chap goes " well use your right Arm". So again I reluctantly stepped out helped him load the 2nd shelf on the buggy and moved it to our study barely helping with my right hand. we got the 2nd shelf in place finally.
By then it was close to 6 PM and decided to head to ER to see how bad was my injury on my left arm. Reston, VA ER X-ray showed no broken bones. But the ER doc looked at my left arm and the internal bleeding and swelling and said it maybe a bicep tear and asked me get it checked with a Orthopedic doctor. 4 days later Orthopedic and MRI confirmed it was a left arm bicep tear due to furniture move incident. I had to go through surgery, take 2 week off work and 4 months of physio therapy and still has not healed.
I narrated the whole incident to Costco customer service or legal and they recorded my statement and conveniently said we did not deliver the furniture. issue happened during CEVA logistics delivery company's work. So they convinced me to file a claim with this cheesy delivery company 'CEVA logistics" and told me they would follow up.

Basically, Costco washed their hands-off at that point even though I bought the furniture from website and nowhere did they say there will be a delivery company and we are not responsible. Moreover, Costco website will promise delivery inside the house but delivery company came and said nothing doing we deliver outside, deal with it !. Costco basically sells the furniture with all kinds of promises charges extra for home delivery and quietly retreats from the scene.

I narrated the whole incident again to this delivery company, they recorded my statement and promised an investigation. After 6 months, got back me to with a investigation result that stated
1. they were not negligent, they were not supposed to move the furniture inside the house,
2.I volunteered to help the mover and got injured in the process !.,
3. also implied I already had an earlier injury that I was reporting. Even though I had told them I had no previous arm injuries.
4. And much cheesy investigation results that are not worth reporting here..

Costco was copied on this investigation response from the delivery company but does not want to get involved and do the right thing.

It has been 6 months since left arm bicep tear happened during Costco furniture delivery, I went through left arm surgery, physio therapy and my left arm has still not recovered fully. Now it turns out, this will have long term implications on my left arm strength. I am talking to lawyers, doctors to understand what this means and looks like a long drawn out legal fight. So be it.

Buyer beware, just because you are buying from Costco does not mean they will take responsibility. Costco will wash their hands off and abandon you at the earliest opportunity whether you are right or completely truthful simply does not matter.

Pradeep Somayaji
Old Costco member.

It has been 6 months since I had the left arm bicep tear. the delivery company has more or less washed their hands off stating they were not negligent. Costco does not want to bear responsibility even though I paid $ 300 extra for home delivery. I want everyone to know just because you buy from Costco, don't have high or even reasonable expectations regarding delivery, responsibility and ownership. Costco will wash their hands off and just push the resp0onsibility to a cheesy delivery company and you are left holding an empty bag that is on fire. Beware, don't blindly trust Costco.

Costco costco employees

You know when you go to Costco and get free samples from CDS employees? That is what i do. I do a great job selling my products too. Our job is to tell the customers if you like it please take one home. This is what i do and i sell probably more products then most CDS employees. If it was not for us Costco would not be selling as much as they do. You have to go to work wearing an army Helmut and bullet proof vest just to deal with 2, 000 customers. Many are mean and most never say Thank You. This is not an easy job and we get crap pay for this too. My complaint here is about certain Costco workers that think they are above us CDS workers. The way they look at us and talk behind our backs. Again if it was not for us Costco sales would be way down. Before starting work i was in the downstairs breakroom. I sat down to eat and in front of me was some phone chord. No one was sitting there. I moved the chord foreard then this bakery employees said'' I am sitting there'' in a weird rough way. I very nicely replied '' It's not the end of the world''. She roughly barked back '' YOU DON'T WANT TO GO THERE''. Ha i said nothing to stay humble. Complaining here instead of to a Manager is good enough for me. If i were to complain to a Manager that bakery person would get in trouble. Tired of this job anyway and need to find something else. My wife, soul mate was murdered 4 years ago which is the only reason i choose to do what i do because i feel i need to be around a lot of people. Once i find a new job goodbye Costco!

Costco simply purrfect cat litter

We've been using this for our cats for almost a year and we're happy with the product. Just recently bought two containers and they've changed the formula. The litter is bigger, doesn't clump at all, and doesn't reduce oder. It also stays wet so the cats paws and hair get stuck with wet litter if they ever use it right after another.. We'll be looking elsewhere for a new litter.

Costco whirlpool washer and dryer

Costco.com order #[protected] order placed on 6/19/2019
I have pleased an order for a Whirlpool Washer and Dryer on 6/19/2019 and as of today 8/5/2019, I still did not receive the item yet. My tenants have put in more than $85.00 as of 8/2/2019. The delivery date has changed many times and several tracking numbers have sent to my house but the supervisor Richard W has no clue where is the item is and did not expedite the shipment process to make up the lost time. It is odd that Costco operator has stated he is the BEST in solving problems and I have an issue with that claim when he does not reply to my e-mails (documents) and calls. Instead, he took the easy way out and give this problem to another supervisor Letticia which making the problems as back to day 1 when I placed the order. The ETD keeps on changing and he has only called me twice and did not reply by e-mails either. I am not sure if this is just him or he did not have the tools to expedite shipping methods. It took my property manager about one hour to track down by calling JP Hunt, Costco, to locate the item and the delivery date has been changed AGAIN. To ship an item to Hawaii should not take this long because my last purchase of an LG 4 doors refrigerator only took 10 days to get here. I would like to suggest he must have other tools to expedite an item when someone dropped the ball to make up the time. He claims he does not know what happened, whee it missing item is, and refused to use other options. So I just have wait for more than 2 months or close to 3 months when it reached my tenants Sept when the order was placed on 6/19/2019.
See attachments for the first set of the tracking numbers.

Thank you

Costco wrong billing for lg tv model 65sk8000pua

Hello there

I brought a LG TV model 65SK8000PUA from Costco Fremont CA on 26-Jul- 2019 after being taken in by the $599.99 price put up in the rack. The price as advertised was valid till 27-Jul-2019. My wife paid for the tv in the counter and I was happy that we got a good deal since the online price for the same was exactly 100$ more. For a week I was under the impression that we had indeed paid 599.99 and not 699.99 as was advertised online, when I was talking to some of my friends that we got a good deal from costco. Thats when my wife told me that we were billed 699.99 and not 599.99. So I went back today and talked today to the customer care executive with the bill. She is asking for proof that it was indeed advertised for 599.99. The only proof I have is my friend and a store executive (who i can identify if I see him again)who verified the model no against the price tag in the rack. We cannot be photographing the price of every item we are purchasing in the store especially for the highly frequent visits we make to this store. I am sure the store has ways and means to keep track of price that a particular item was being sold for during a period and not expect the customer to provide a proof. I would be happy if that $100 is returned back to me as I feel now that I did not get what Costco promised(honouring the price advertised). In fact it is a trend in costco that its online price is always more than what we get at the store. Like today the same Product is sold online for $879.99 while the store price is 699.99 and this price is valid till 3-Aug-2019. Like wise I am certain that the online price of the item was 699.99 while it was 599.99 in store. In fact I was accompanied by a friend of mine who can vouch for our observation on that day and I am sure your records also would be the same. I am hoping for your sincere answer.

Costco rude, unprofessional treatment

Date of incident: 8-2-2019. Time: 12:12. OP#: 58 Name: Dave LA. The cashier was so busy discussing personal matters with the person assisting him that I felt invisible. When I told the assistant he could put my purchase in a box, he responded sarcastically: "Oh, can I?" They returned to their discussion, including their experiences in the "break room." I stopped at the desk on the way out to mention the lack of service to a young woman, who looked at my receipt and said she'd take care of it. When I went to leave the store, the person at the door looked at my receipt and said I had not been charged for all the items in my cart. Three items had not been rung up. I returned, voicing some concern about the waste of time. The young man who rang up the missing items took his time to discuss the problem with other people, even though I told him I was in a hurry and resented the imposition on my time. He repeatedly called me "Dear, " until I told him not to refer to me that way. I am a 66-year-old woman who expects better service and more respectful treatment. This person's name was OP #811, Wes.

Costco cancellation of kedem 100% kosher concord grape juice, 97 oz double pack

This is the only kosher concord grape juice available. Cutting this from your inventory in favor of Kirkland Concord Grape Juice is a disservice to the Jewish community which Kirkland products support. The Kedem products are used year round, not just for Jewish holidays. Cutting this product eliminates a major reason Jewish families come to COSTCO, besides the other Kirkland Kosher products you provide. Please change your inventory system and reorder this product ASAP.

Costco kirkland maple syrup

I buy Kirkland maple syrup regularly from Costco and use it regularly. We're towards the end of our current bottle and some solid blue colored substance came out. It looked like paper? With some flakes? I was completely disgusted and it has me questioning the brand and whether I should ever buy it again. I looked for a way to complain directly to Kirkland, but I couldn't find one. If you have a website to complain directly to them, could you please share that with me? Thank you.

Costco tire center

I purchased 4 tires at Costco.com on 7/9/19 and had them delivered to Costco Tire Center at the Syracuse, NY store. On 7/10/19 they were installed on my 2017 Cadillac XT5 with aluminum wheels. The wheels have a wheel lock and during installation i was brought into the shop because, I was told that there was no tool to remove the lock. I called Crest Cadillac the dealership to ask about that and was told that the cap is removed by any shop tool that fits. Morris then then told the mechanics that a 7/8 socket fits it. The following Tuesday it was noticed that 3 of the 4 wheels had gouges and that the chrome lug nuts were over torqued by using an oversized socket on them. I called the shop manager & was told that their shop noted damage prior to doing the work. I emailed pictures of the damage to the 3 damaged wheels and was told that their machines couldn't have done the damage and it looks like i hit a curb. The damage is too high on the wheels and not consistent with hitting a curb! The prior work done on the car has been by Crest Cadillac's shop. There was no prior damage! I talked to an assistant mgr. who was nice but could only repeat what the shop mgr. said and was told that the store mgr. is out of town for 2 weeks. I lease the car and was asking that they have the damage repaired. My membership #111839850377 invoice #11760032842 . Thank you, Paul Lanni,
