Today, I was trying to make a poster for my daughter at the photo center at the Overland Park Costco listed above and your employee was extremely rude and inappropriate. I believe his name was Kyle (not sure about the name) and wore a blue polo and had a beard. First he told me that he was too busy to help me. So I waited. When he did finally assist, he told me that my picture quality was poor and would make a horrible poster. The whole time he rolled his eyes at me and seemed extremely put off that I was there. I ended up leaving and was in tears and couldn't believe the way he spoke and acted out. It made me feel like I was an idiot and I'm debating canceling my Costco membership. I do love your stores, selection and overall experience but this incident was totally out of line. I don't feel I can go back into that store though. I complained to the store manager who took my phone number but I really feel I need to formalize this complaint because he was so rude to me.

As a Costco member for over 20 years, i was very disappointed when, at the register today, I was questioned about my card's validity. The cashier questioned if I was the authentic card holder. I had to explain in detail that the reasons I looked " different" from the photo on my card was because I had undergone chemo due to cancer and my hair had fallen out. I was embarrassed to be questioned in such a manner and disappointed that the cashier couldn't even offer an apology for putting me in a position in which I had to reveal my medical condition and he was very insensitive. My privacy was violated. Please educate your staff on hippa laws
a costco product - the apple strudel
Yesterday, I purchased a box of apple strudels. This morning, when I opened the box and had a bite of one, it tasted strange. So, I opened the strudel and found it was filled with mold. So, I opened the rest of them and found they were also filled with mold.
It's not so easy for me to take them back to the Costco branch where I purchased them because the location is a few times further away than the cost of the strudels.
I have always told people that Costco has great quality food. I am SO DISAPPOINTED that I can no longer say that. I am disgusted that you would sell this to customers for their consumption.
I have attached pictures so you can see what I am talking about. If you zoom in, it should be easy to see the mold. I have also sent you a picture of the receipt to show that I purchased these 24 hours ago.
all bran buds on rebate
I am so disappointed. I had got a raincheck for the all bran buds as they were not in store at time of rebate. I got the rain check at the North London Costco store #530. I only asked for one at the time because I believed the boxes to be on the larger size. When the boxes came in I picked one up and was surprised how small they actually were and so spoke to a supervisor by the name of Simon and asked if I may get 2 which he emphatically replied no. I am so disappointed that this could not be accommodated. In past I have always found Costco to be very accommodating to its member's. I was surprised that $2.00 rebate was worth making a member disappointed. This is not good for business and makes me question why I spend thousands of dollars in your store.

the cashier service very terrible
in monterey park#1318 store. the cashier's name is Jen #2000. Her service vvvvvery bad. Just because i speak English not very well? She deliberately made me difficult. Kept my shopping cart and my Driver's license do not give me back. let me wait out side very long time. When I tried to talk to her about it she just brushed me off. Finally, someone else saw that, then help me check out in another check out Machine!
ensure plus nutrition shake (pharmacy)
I recently purchased a case of 30 ensure plus nutrition shake from Costco, myrtle beach.on the box it stated it was vanilla.the covering on the bottle also said vanilla.the contents were chocolate.now there are several different makes of ensure for "muscle" "bones"sold at different prices.whereas ensure plus, being the most expensive is specifically for immune health.i strongly feel that the content was not for immune health, let alone the flavor being wrong.

I USED to love eating at the food court but so much has been removed and replaced with significantly higher priced items. We used to go eat lunch there and then browse the store - generally buying unplanned items. With the prices up for food - I only shop with a list now. Plus - the quality of the pizza - not good! I got to Costco with my dad and we drove separately. We were shopppig and then my dad forgot he had to meet for an appointment and so he left and told me to checkout and then go home. I got everything else that was needed and I get to checkout and I gave the employee my dad's Costco membership card and the employee says wow you have changed a lot and I explained to him what happened. Then he was waitin I believe for someone that is a higher power than him and he explained the situation to them. They said my dad needs to be here physically with me. I said how I spent about an hour trying to get everything. I was really upset about that because we just came back from a 3 week trip and we had nothing in our house. No water or food.
debit card gas transactions
I have repeatedly experienced discrepancies carried out by Costco when using my debit card at the gas pumps. Delayed and Disappearing transactions continue to compromise my online card balance. These questionable transactions are unrelated to my banking institute! Having taken snapshots as proof due to believing these occurrences to be fraudulent in nature, I want to file a formal complaint. Please advise
milk
This morning I poured milk which said sell by April 8 and warm it up. And to my shock it was all rotten with clotted milk in it. I smelled milk bottle it was all good then I pour in glass again it looked all normal. I am so grossed by this as my kids don't drink warm milk and it only happened when I warm it up. What is going on? Why you're groceries are getting so many complains now a days. Other day I bought chicken and it smelled so bad when I opened it's sealed packages. poor customer service
Purchased a $5000 tv at Costco online, was delivered with a battered box. I called to send it back and have it replaced. By the time a new one was delivered and the old one picked up, the payment was due.
I called to ask for the billing to be adjusted as the tv had just been received and the payment was expected 'immediately'. Request denied. I said I would then return the tv and shop elsewhere..that didn't seem to matter.
When returning the tv the next morning to my local Costco store it was suggested I call 'head office' as they thought my request made sense considering ...
I did... *no option for customer service or complaints?!? ..though I was speaking with someone in membership and informed her I would also be cancelling my membership, it seemed to matter very little.
Sad how little value some of these corporations put on paying customers.
Taking my business elsewhere where it will be more appreciated.

failed refrigerator delivery
We purchased a GE refrigerator ($1500) on the Costco website on Friday March 22, 2019. Our fridge died two days prior so we needed a new one a.s.a.p. and all the other retailers (Lowe's, Home Depot, Best Buy etc.) had a two to three week wait for delivery. We purchased the GE and were scheduled for a Tuesday March 25 delivery with a 30 minute call from the driver before arriving. Only a four day wait which we thought was pretty manageable. My wife stayed home from work to accept the delivery on the 25th but no call. By 7pm we called Costco customer service to ask about the delivery and after a 15 minute hold we were told that the product had been damaged in transport. Why weren't we notified I asked? "Well, they should have called you" the woman explained. They? Not even an apology. Then she said the soonest they could deliver it was in two weeks! We canceled the order and got them to credit our card back. We've never had a problem with Costco before and I thought we could expect better from them but now we've lost all confidence in Costco. They are just another lame retailer that can't deliver what they promise. After being a member for more than five years I will not be renewing my membership.
I too encountered the same problem. Not only was it not delivered when it said they would but the agent was rude and kept talking over me explaining something to me that made absolutely no sense and when I asked for a supervisor, I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes only for her to come back on the line to tell me that she was instructed by the supervisor to call GE directly and when I told her that she should have known that was the next step instead of being rude and putting me on hold for that long- then she hung up on me. Her name was Lole apparently! When I called back and got someone else, this person told me the same exact story you just described and my response was exactly the same as yours which was why didn't they call me to tell me? and now I have to wait 72 hrs before someone will call me to schedule a delivery. Not very happy with them at all!
samsung television
Purchased Samsung 65 inch television in November 2017 with two year warranty plus 3 year extended warranty through Square Trade. In March 2019, the television just stopped...no power. Called Costco concierge desk who first trade to diagnose over phone and then stated a repairman would call within 3 days to set an appointment. Three days later a follow up fro Costco...your part is in the repairman will contact you. Next day, repairman states part is not in. Anyhoo, a later repairman comes out, replaces a board...still no power. He then replaces a second board...we have power. Repairman leaves and I configure the settings and for ten minutes everything is fine. However once the television is turned off...it loses memory and all settings. We call repairman immediately before he makes it to next appointment. He attempts a repair with no luck and says call the Concierge desk again. We do so and they set up a second/third repair with Samsung. Samsung tries for two hours to perform remote maintenance no luck and then in a conference call with Costco's Concierge states that the TV is Not repairable. Concierge desk APPEARS to accept that verdict and tells us management review will call within 24 hours with a resolution ...which they will not tell us what the options are. We didn't receive a phone call.
Four days later we attempt to reach the escalation desk again and are placed on a two hour hold. We try again later to no avail. Finally about six in the afternoon we reach someone who tells us that the entire process has to be repeated...repair visit, management review...and no they will not tell us the options.
Frustration level is very high considering every time we mount or dismount the television we must pay a company to do so. We paid for it to be dismounted for the service call and had it remounted once power was regained. No we're told the process must be repeated. Additionally there is the time off work waiting for the repairman and the remote repair attempt by Samsung. Called. directly to Costco Customer Service and was told that CS will review and call us back in three days. I don't consider this great customer service and at this point the television hasn't function correctly for nearly a month.
I think we would have been better off going directly through Square Trade rather than getting Costco to repair.

I reached out to customer services, they suggested me to contact UPS, who replied they are not responsible.
Again I contacted costco, they asked me to bring the police report, which I did.
and now they are saying they can not do anything.

27 pound lobster claw advertised
On the news this morning I saw that Costco is selling a 27 pound lobster claw. Why in the world would you promote the harvesting of a creature that is most likely older than you and maybe your Grandmother too. Because of corporations like you, nice publicity right, and irresponsible fishermen like the one that sold this to you, great money right, we are losing our giants of the sea. Is there no sense of responsibility with your corporation to respect a creature that has lived so long ? Do you really think you are setting a good example or promoting the extinction of all older and large animals for piddly things like money and publicity? That was a National Geographic learning opportunity if I ever saw one. Instead it will be eaten and not allowed to further it's line of big lobsters or a learning opportunity for all. I will not shop in your stores anymore, this is disgusting and irresponsible publicity act. I would also like the name and address of the company that thought this was a good idea.

poor cashier service
i just left the costco whse in Holbrook, NY.
there was no one to pack my basket at the register and the cashier kept pushing all my purchases down the chute with no regard to my food or other items.
I asked him are you going to pack my wagon or just keep pushing the mdse down the chute until something is crushed or damaged.
I find more and more there is no one to pack the mdse into the carts at this store.
he told me has no packer and it is not his job, he was rude.
is this the new standard for costco with no packers and rude cashiers?
I had to pack the items into the wagon my self which i am not against and have done many times however today i was not in the mindframe to do it and cashier was nasty and refused.
Please let me know if this is the new standard at Costco as i have always been so pleased with your cashiers as they are always so pleasant.

bakery and parking
To whom it may concern,
On Wednesday March 6, 2019 around 1pm on my work lunch break. I had to return two items and buy dinner rolls for a work baby shower (for the next day). There were no dinner rolls available on the display tables and they wouldn't be any rolls for twenty minutes according to lady in the bakery. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to wait since I was there on my lunch hour. Plus, a lot of time was wasted with finding a parking spot. It's very chaotic in the parking lot.
As much as I enjoy Costco, I will never return that the San Leandro Costco during a time restraint.

We bought the President feta cheese this month at a Costco near Baltimore. I usually buy it and have never had an issue. Today when I opened the container we had recently opened, the cheese was covered in pink dots surrounding it. I am worried it could be listeria since I am pregnant and it could induce an abortion. I throw the cheese out and i will throw the unopened other cheese. It's the first time this has happened so I wanted to report it in case there was a contamination with listeria which could put many people in danger. Thank you!
