So I was shopping at my local Costco this afternoon where I'm a loyal customer and shop here weekly. As I was approaching the register 4 extremely large men approached me and ordered me to tell my son to take off what he has on and there won't be a problem. Shocked my son said huh? Then remembered he had tried on a sweater that he was buying when I sent him to get milk... He forgot and I said I was paying for it... They were extremely rude and confiscated my card! I have spent an obscene amount of money at Costco amf extremely maf at the action that was taken! I just renewed my card and now they took it!
poor customer service
I am extremely disappointed in the customer service at the Sanatoga Costco (Pottstown, Pa). Last month I went to renew my membership and was told by two customer service representatives that I was "stupid" for not getting the executive membership. I was so angry that I almost cancelled my membership right then and there. Today was my first time back since that incident and the cashier, Chidara, was unbelievably rude. She held her hand out for my card without even making eye contact, threw my items down the line that she crises my grapes container and crushed a muffin, and then I had to look around to see if she was done scanning because she turned away to talk to the other employee loading the cart. She could t even say "go ahead and scan your card." I will not be renewing my membership next time. You have done a rotten job at hiring lately and I am truly disappointed in the customer service.
too many times missed delivery

I ordered an ge refrigerator in the last day of aug, the order number is [protected], tracking number is [protected].
This is my new complaint because yesterday was my third missed deliveries, I still didn't receive anything!before yesterday, automatic call said my order would be delivered from12-3pm. Same as second times. Nobody came here and no one told me in advance. It's horrible service attitude, first time, I didn't complain because the driver explained the reason to me; the second time no one appeared so I complained, compensation just $25per day, I accepted it because the second appointment was at the weekend. However, the third appointment on the working day still no one came. I can't accept $25 this time. This mattar has seriously affected me. It is my second time to ask for leave because of your mistakes, and I still cannot get my order! The forth is 22th, but I am not sure can I receive the order. Plz, don't stand me up each time, it is not funny! I hope customer service can give me a good explain and compensation. Thanx

I used a cane cause of mobility problem while waiting to be serve I ask the lady at the counter if I can sit down in one of the vacant chair no sooner had I sat down that they made me get up and fall in line and wait to be serve why cant they make adjustment for people with disability the chair was vacant on top of that when it was my turn to be serve the lady who help me her name tag name isalyssa was rude. I know they are busy how often do you do customer service training with your employees. I love costco and have ongoing investment with your company thats why I am concern. Thank you
usury of the citibank costco card
I had a shortfall of $30 on my costco card payment two or three cycles ago. The origin of this error is in dispute but that really no longer matters. They charged about $13 which is about 40% interest! After calling they said they would reverse this charge even though my issue wasn't the $13 but the 40%. The next cycle they again charged $36 for some reason based on the same shortfall which, according to them is explained in painful detail in the fine print that "i agreed to when I got the card".
If we do a little math we see that $13 + $36 = $49 .. which is about 160% interest/month and if you multiply that 12 it is about 1960% per year.
If the politicians wonder why there approval ratings are so low… this may have something to do with that. We (citizens as in citizens united) have been thrown under the bus. It is interesting to listen to those representative at Citicard justify their actions. Citibank sent me a letter explaining that they could not reverse the second charge…they needed the money more that I did!
There isn't anything I can do about the penalty they have levied so far but I can cancel my card and I am going to make it my life's work to alert the world because I am sure that, unless we have slipped in to the world of alternate truth, there are others who would be as upset as I am over this crime being perpetrated on the public assisted by Costco. Not to mention that our "Government" had some responsibility to protect us from this type of usury!
I have all of the pertinent documentation to substantiate what I have said here!

cashier attitude
I was about in the cashier waiting for the amount to pay. The cashier who was with me was James L. He said to the cashier in front how there were so many people. And added to that comment "oh it's because of the thing Mexicans celebrate, it's [censored]" then his helper Karla noticed that offensive comment and even the other chshier said that was not right. I am honestly offended. The worse part he did not even notice many of us in line have different ethnicities. I bough Costco was better than that, now I see you guys employ racist people.

All the of these items have either been changed in taste, quality and price increased drastically and unreasonably or wiped off the menu entirely.
What is happening to Costco and their marketing and price/cost departments? Nothing was wrong and everything was right as it was before, so 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it', and now it is hurtling toward broken and undesirable. It sure has meant that I no longer buy those items, if available in altered form, and I am finding reasons to shop elsewhere.
Such a small thing, but so noticeable to your loyal customers. A kick in the pants to us, and I big mistake for Costco.

Today, September 11 2018, I went to Costco inquiring a "block" on my card. I was asked to go to a back room office to discuss this block by Todd store manager and another Male employee at the Carmel Mountain San Diego Costco. I immediately felt threatened and as I walked I asked to please remain in the public eye. Todd verbally and physically assaulted me using profanity while accusing me of being a thief and using profanity. He refused to provide me with my transaction history and bullied me saying he called the cops and told me he would cancel my whole family's accounts and I would never step foot in a Costco store again because it was a members only store. This was after I attempted to settle the misunderstanding. His response to me was that he "did not like my [censored]in attitude". Being labeled a thief that slandered my character and i was obviously upset. I have video footage of the assault and I have filed a police report regarding this very demeaning and traumatic assault experience. He also did not give me back my costco card and we did not settle the dispute as he kicked me out of the store. I am 100% that costco's values and moral standing is not well represented by this type of abusive employee leading a store. I expect a representative from Costco to contact me as soon as possible regarding this painful experience. I believe he targeted me believing I was a weak individual as a small minority woman. Even his coworker attempted to calm him and another member stepped in as he saw a woman being harassed.

I love chili and I bought Chili 3-4 times from Costco food court. Every time it was way too salty. I had to take it home and boil it again with lots of water to dilute it.
If Costco is concerned about people's health, they shouldn't make it that salty. Really it is outrageously salty. Please check the amount of salt in Chili and reduce it for customers' health.
samsung series 8 tv
I purchased a new 82inch series 8 model Samsung TV from Costco in December of 2017. The TV stopped working in August of 2018. When I purchased the TV I also purchased an extended warranty through Costco for an additional 6 years.
As I write this review, it has been 5 weeks that my TV has not been working. I have spent 4 to 5 hours on the phone with both Samsung and Costco. Neither of the companies has done anything to correct my issue. Samsung has mailed me two parts both of which have not corrected the issue. I have spent 1.5 hours on the phone with Samsung tech support to no avail. I have escalated this issue to management at Samsung, Costco.com and Costco Concierge Service, 5 weeks later all I have is a broken TV and empty promises.
Buyer beware of any Samsung products and anything purchased from Costco.

We bought pancake breakfast from a local restaurant to take home. We used a Costco brand Kirkland Maple syrup. As soon as I pour the syrup on to the plate of pancakes, there's a dead bee that came out of it. It was disgusting and ruined my appetite for the entire day. I like to file a consumer complaint against Costco and Kirkland. We then returned the product and spoke to the manager at Costco to file a complaint. We had to take time off from work today (Monday September 10, 208.) we brought our entire breakfast and the bottle of syrup along with the dead bee still on the pancakes and explained to the manager named "Paul" at the Woodbine location of Costco of our inconvenience due to time and driving and have wasted 10km of miliage and gas. The reason for this complaint is to make sure that this particular product will be investigated and to ensure the quality and standards of Costco to prevent this from happening in the future. We are also seeking compensation for our time and gas for this ordeal. Please notify Costco of our complaint and grant us proper compensation thank you.

Yesterday (September 8th), I visited a local store in Calgary.
At this time I was not a member yet! I went to the membership desk and explained I would like to sign up however I would like to take a quick look through the store to see if this membership would actually be beneficial to myself and my partner.
We are new to Canada and my manager who is a Business Member advised we looked into Costco here in Calgary, we was advised that we could have a member of staff walk around the store with us, to this we kindly declined as not only is that not a waste of an employee's time its also a little embarrassing for a couple to be assisted around a store, right?
However I am aware of membership regulations and laws and knew I could still use your pharmacy without membership, I advised the greeter at the front of the store that I was visiting the Pharmacy (which was made clear to the team at the membership desk and they also confirmed I could enter membership free for this).
We had not even walked 3 aisles into the store before 2 older ladies approached me and my boyfriend and shouted from one end of the aisle in front of all the customers 'EXCUSE ME DO YOU HAVE A MEMBERSHIP" not only was this embarrassing it was also unprofessional in many opinions. I explained no we was not members yet but we was heading to the Pharmacy, I was told I needed to go the membership desk and obtain a temporary card, I explained I was told at the desk I could enter without membership. We was then told to walk straight to the Pharmacy which we did as we was already on route. However we then realised the two older ladies had continued to follow us and was radioing back and forth with regards to us.
This I feel was more than unnecessary, made both of us feel like we was criminal and of a behaviour that would need to be watched and followed around the store, I do not understand where any of this was acceptable, shouting and then following.
I decided to leave the store and was very angry at the whole experience so I even decided that I would not sign up for membership however I find this sad.
It is not ok for any profession to make any customer feel as though they have done wrong, if by any means we gave an impression that we was stealing I would fully understand, we are both working professionals and as I previously stated my Manager advised we checked Costco out and he was shocked to hear of our experience.
When exiting the store the greeter then found it necessary to ask what we thought of our experience to which we did not reply.
I am extremely sad at this experience and treatment within one of your stores.

I came to Costco to buy a new winter tires for my car at Sept. 9, 2018 about 4:45 pm, the person who supposed to help me was so irrespective and rude, when I asked him about the online cost and is it different, he told me go and check our website and started helping the next customer!, then when he is checking my address, he showed me a strange address which is not mine, I told him that this is not my address, he said this is not my fault and I can not change it for you!, I told him that I just get my card 30 minutes ago and it contains my address, at that point he finally changed my address. Actually this is the most rediculus, time wasting and rude customer service I've ever had. The person's name is Steve. I hope I will get a reply soon. Thanks

The only reason I needed a new credit card because I'm divorcing after 40 years during our marriage we had a MasterCard, are line of credit was 10, 000 and not once did encounter The issues that I had with your company yesterday not only was my issue is not resolved but it was also the way I was treated by the three people I call through customer service I guarantee you if you continue this line of the performance these cards will not be around for long

On Sept. 1 the Costco store on North Pointe in Durham NC you had very nice, soft, ripe peaches, which I bought and enjoyed. A few days later the store had peaches advertised as ripe, but they were very hard.
Please don't sell unripe, hard peaches. Make the supplier pick them only when ripe. If they arrive at the store unripe, send the truck back. It is not your function to be and outlet for unripe produce.

My partner and I ordered business card via coscto business printing online. The first time the picture turned out orange and I returned them in to Santa Clarita Costco. Then we reordered new cards but replaced the picture with a new one, same thing happened again. I went to Costco at Westfield Topanga & The Village, located at 6600 Topanga Canyon Boulevard Canoga Park CA 91303 and tried to return it. After spending 45 minutes tip toeing from one manager to another, finally the manager of ?photo center came named Dave arguing with me that why did you even ordered it with us. You should have order it with someone else. I only do it this time and I would never do it again. He turned the story the way that I am making the mistake by ordering business cards via Costco business printing. Or he is giving me a favor or accepting a defected product.
I have been a executive Costco business member for 10 years and I have never experienced such an unprofessional [censored]ty behavior from any Costco member. This is not my fault that the messed up with my business card. After rattling for 15 minutes, eventually he did not returned the card and I took them back with me.
I would like to know what kind of training he received before he became a manager? He did even have a basic manner as a cashier not to mention supervising other employees and what would an employee learn from such an supervisor. It is such a shame to treat your customer like this. especially customers who are paying for executive membership for over 10 years.

Tried to return some perishable items (ground beef and bread) that we had bought two days ago because we had bought too much of it. The manager was very rude did not even ask to see my member ID so he could see that we are good customers and never do this kind of thing and spent plenty of money at your establishment. Very upset that he wouldn't even look at our account and make a one-time exception. Makes me never want to spend money there again and instead go to our local grocery store who doesn't even ask questions on returns. I heard that Costco is pretty good with returns and this basically means he would've excepted the return if I lied and said that the beef smelled bad. I feel like a dumb honest customer who should just lie about things next time . I've been in the service industry for a very long time and the parts of being a manager is being understandable and wanting the customer to leave somewhat satisfied but he had absolutely not a care in the world .
pineapple
I purchased a pineapple on Friday august 31st at the costco store in Vancouver Washington. The one located on 88th street. I cut it up today, Monday September 3rd, and most of the pineapple is rotten. It stinks and is grayish/brown in color. Very disappointed. I'm usually very pleased with what I buy from costco, as I am an executive member. We live a ways away from costco, 45mins or so. Makes it difficult to just run in and return a purchase like this. I sure hope this will get resolved shortly. Thanks
store scooters die and leave a handicapped person stranded
I am a handicapped individual who has difficulty ambulating very far and cannot handle a big box store without an electric scooter that works. Costco store scooters have frequently died and left me stranded in the big box store with no help in sight. The meters on those scooters are not reliable. The needle on the meter can show the scooter is fully charged but then it quickly dies out and the scooter quits working.
Costco should have a flashing light or a distress flag on its scooters that quit in its big box store so some help can be alerted to the handicapped individual's stranded plight.
