They have not resolved anything with us. I have never been treated so poorly and have decided to tell my story.
Worst experience I have ever had at a Costco in Palm Desert, CA. I was treated with such disrespect. Julie was the worst cashier I have ever met. It was after 1 pm on 11/7/23. She had the energy of being rather snobbish to begin with. She had a problem with me and my partner each paying for half of our order each. We are in the same household, and each have a Costco card. So not sure why she had a problem with us paying. If she is getting some kind of bad information from corporate, then they have a bigger problem than just this bad cashier. I will not be back. I demanded that my membership be cancelled, and I will be contacting not just corporate but also the board of directors. Next Julie called over what was supposed to be a manager, her name is Claudia, and she did nothing but escalate the situation until I was even more upset that we simply just couldn't pay for our food and leave. Instead, she got snotty and cancelled our order. Another reason I will not be back. I will not be treated so poorly when I am spending hundreds of dollars and often. So next I went over to try and get a real manager and I got Brad and to be quite honest, he didn't care about how poorly we were treated either.
I know I did nothing wrong as they sold me the membership with two cards to be used in my household and yet they won't let us use them?
Again, horrible poor service all the way around and so glad I walked out with all my cash and my membership cancelled.
I hope others will consider closing down their memberships too and make a stand if you are mistreated too.
Update:
Costco had someone call me and they offered me nothing. Said they were going to talk to the employees, but I would bet that will do absolutely no good as they need to have corporate change their ways and how they are telling their employees to crack down on card sharing.
I will tell everyone for the rest of my life not to give Costco their business as they just do not care how their customers feel. Shame on your Costco!
I guess this is how they treat the elderly who do not look as pretty as the blonde cashier who was so rude to the 3 of us.
I have been physically sick since this happened. I will continue to post this on all social media sites as long as it takes to make sure some cancel their memberships. Again, my family did nothing wrong but try and pay our bill and this is the thanks we get. I hope someone is corporate even cares a little to look into all the one star reviews that Costco gets but I doubt it. They need to change telling their employees to treat customers this way that try to pay with both of their cards. Something behind the scenes is very wrong at this company! Whoever is reading this, please make a stand and don't give them any of your hard-earned money and cancel your memberships! Thank you for your time in reading this.
Claimed loss: Harm to my wellbeing and has made me sick since yesterday.
Desired outcome: Company contact with some kind of compensation. I also would like them to train their employees properly as obviously they are NOT. The crack down on card sharing has gone to abusive levels!!!

I made the decision to make the change from Verizon to AT&T in March after listening to a sales pitch at Costo. My phones were all eligible for an upgrade and the timing made sense to me. I was assured, and got it on a hand written piece of paper in writing, that after the first month, my bill would be $120.
It has NOT been $120. It has been $450, $190, $214, $190, $190 and $168 twice. I have called 4 times and spent no less than 30 minutes or more on the phone each time. Frustrating in itself. I have been assured repeatedly that the problem would be fixed, I would get all kinds of credits and it would get back to $120 per month after getting all the credits. Lies, Lies, Lies. I am at my wits end wondering how to fix this problem. My next step i think will be to go into Costco and make a scene.
Desired outcome: I would like credits for all the months that i was over charged, so that i possible get a couple months free until the credits are all used, not divided over 36 months. I would like my bill then, going forward to be $120/month.

I am writing this complaint on a insurance claim.Claim # [protected] .The first part of Oct. called Connect Ins. to have some one come out and look at my roof.They sent out a field ad.juster just to see if i had damage she said i did.She would get intouch with a desk adjuster.I was expecting someone to tell me what the roof would cost.When they did call she told how much it would cost me .She did not ask me if i wanted to start a claim.I was told it was a done and could not be stopped.So now there is a claim on my policy that i do not want because It is going to be $701.62 after deductible of $8,8883.00 And $6,199.91 Depreciation witch no one ever explained to me.I am writing you because the adjuster has sent me a check for $701.62 and said she can not stop that.Hope some can tell me why this could't be stoped. RXO delivery is awful!
Purchased a TCL TV from Costco on 9/24/23. We were advised at the POS that it would be delivered withing 1-2 weeks by RXO Delivery, Costco's "delivery partner". I feel so disappointed and angry. When I was approached by the AT&T representative, they made it sound like an excellent deal. Claimed we could still pay the same $85 for two lines we were paying with our carrier. Spoke about all of these discounts, which was supposed to save us money. Now..3 months later, the bill continues to go up..always seem as if they will address the issue and fix it, never do and had to wait 3 months of paying to switch to my daughter’s name to get the RN discount…not..never mentioned to switch the accounts there is a charge of $139.96 paid Oct 10, 2023 which I believed was our October bill, however, they sent an additional bill for $191 stating this is the new bill for October for switching the account. I feel like they are dubious and practice usury. Purposely mislead the public to trap you into a 5 year contract. I regret I even stopped to listen to their representatives.
Desired outcome: I want help getting them to remove this additional charge of $191.84 for October and the RN discount applied to our account. Please respond.

I was measured for new glasses at Costco in September 2023. I picked the new glasses up on 10/3/2023. The next day, on 10/4/2023, I brought them back to the store because the left lens was not correct. I could not read any small print out of the left lens. So the technician, whose name is Laura, said that she would adjust them. I explained that the reading magnifier on the left lens was set too low. After trying to adjust them three times, I said, "You can adjust them all day, I am telling you that I can't read with my left eye. Will you remeasure and send these glasses back for a correction?" She kept refusing saying that she would be able to adjust them. After going back and forth for 20 minutes I said, "I want a refund. I am so frustrated; I can't take it anymore." And her exact response to me was, "So am I."
My wife and I have ordered glasses from the Costco Optical Department in the past, but I will never do it again. I am enclosing the refund receipt for the glasses. I am also sending this letter of complaint to the store manager at Costco in Orland Park, Illinois.
Once again, her name was Laura and I was told that she is the manager. Her service and attention to my needs were way below standard.

Racist cashier
My name is Ernest Mezei. My address is 6 Paddington Court, Pomona NY 10970. My Phone number is [protected]. I am an Executive Member #[protected]. I was at the Nanuet NY warehouse on Oct 02 2023 at 03:00 pm. I was in line with many people behind me. I have to say that I am jewish and dressed like it. The cashier was OP# 617 ZIAD Y and appeared Mid Eastern. He gave me a look as I placed my items on the counter. I am sure that you would have a video of this. He started ripping open a box that contained Samsonite luggage set 2623011. He was assuming I stole something and placed it in that box. His lady assistant looked at me and was also annoyed at how he was treating me. Obviously Racist. I was extremely embarrassed as all people behind me were watching this whole show. He ripped part of the box and did not apologize or try to fix the ripped box. He just gave a dirty look and gave me my receipt. I have been a Costco customer for decades and never experienced such treatment and never ever filed a complaint before. This is unacceptable. I am still shaking.

Check was sent to headquarters in the amount of $186 to cover payment of purchases same month for Citi Bank by error. Instead of returning the check, it was cashed by someone in your facility at Wells Fargo Bank
As a result, I, the member. had to pay Citi bank for the amount due, your representative pocket the money and no one seems to care. Regardless of my calls, proof of payment - copies of check from my bank, no one has responded to my requests to investigate this matter.
I am out $186.00 (which on a fixed income as a 80 yrs. old senior citizen) is a great deal! Co contact me: so I may provide you with membership number, copies of cashed check, and numerous letters to your corporation!

This is a significant complaint. On Saturday Sept 16 in the morning, I was shopping in your store at Britannia and Mavis. An elderly man and a young man stole my wallet out of my purse. I saw them and starting screaming - this man just stole my wallet. THERE WERE 2 COSTCO EMPLOYEES NEAR BY - I ASKED THEM TO HELP ME SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY JUST IGNORED ME. Finally, the younger man pretended to find my wallet behind some skids - of course the money was gone. By the time I went to report this to the front, they were gone. Shoppers are clearly not safe in your store. Why did those employees not call Security immediately. These 2 people would have been caught. Instead I felt very unsafe and unprotected in your store even though 2 male employees were present. I will cancel my membership and never enter again. I have been a faithful customer for over 30 years. You should be embarrassed at your employees behaviour.

I purchased an Apple MacBookAir on Sept 6, which was to be delivered on Sept 11. The item was delivered via UPS on Saturday, Sept 9. I retrieved the package from my porch and wrapped it for my husband's birthday on Sept 11. On the morning of Sept 11, I watched my husband open his birthday present; it was an empty box.
I immediately called Costco. The CS person said the people in the dept which handles Apple items were not in yet and to call back. I called back twice; both times no one in that dept was available. The FOURTH time I called on Sept 11, the CS person said that my issue was given to the OrderProcessing Dept and gave me a case number. She also said that dept will be contacting me 24 to 48 hours.
I heard nothing and called on Sept 13 which a CS person said that the OrderProcessingDept would be calling me that day. I waited all day to speak to someone re my husband's birthday present empty box. When it was the end of the day and no one called, I again called Costco. This last CS person told me that no one would have told me that someone from the OrderProcessingDept would call me!
The CS person on this last phone call told ME to send the OPD an email to discuss the problem!
I told her that I was told more than once that someone from Costco would contact ME and I did not take the email address.
Needless to say, it's 5:30 on Friday, Sept 15 and I've heard nothing from Costco.
Would someone from Costco kindly explain to me what is going on with my case number aka my husband's empty box birthday present.
Desired outcome: Would appreciate someone from Costco's OrderProcessingDept contacting me re my case number.
Kirkland vacuum bags
I purchased the 57 piece kirkland signature vacuum sealing bags. A lot of the 8" rolls as well as the larger bags have deep wrinkles through them. I used them and initially they did seal but I found that they didn't hold the seal for more than a day or two. I am including photos of the creases and the box I bought. Eye exam
On Aug 14 2:00-3:30 pm I walked into the Hanford CA Costco for a eye exam. $90.00. I went thru the first part of exam.. was ok. Then went into exam room with eye dr. I told him my issue. Needing a new pair of eye glasses. Told him I’m having issues seeing far and close. He checked my existing glasses script. Then gave me a eye exam .. I told him I couldn’t even read any thing on the far away charts. Hence why I was there. He seemed frustrated each time he asked if I could read the charts. I was honest and said no. Even with my glasses on!
He wrote a script without doing a through eye test/chart. Nothing was focused. I then was frustrated myself. I told him to see close up/read I had to take my glasses off. Hence again eye exam. Yes my eyes are really bad. Which why I wear glasses to drive .. read… work. He then gave a quick look at my eyes. Yes I have starting cataracts. But I am still needing new scripts. He did a close up chart. I said some of these I can read. He then ended exam. Wrote one and I paid my fee. I wasn’t satisfied
Desired outcome: I wanted glasses I can wear and function daily with. I filled the script he gave me with a online service. I received new glasses. I can’t even wear them. I see 2 of everything!! I wish for a refund $90.00 exam.

Very poor experience. online hotel changes or any changes online are not allowed and then when call customer service, expect at least 1 hour wait, just to be told that computers are down, call back later again. I have spent more than 8 hours on phone just to get 1 hotel changed in my trip, still not done yet. There is no call back feature. once booked, expect surprises with the ground transportation, with obviously no number to call again.
