Costco cashier

My cashier today said about 2 sentences to me. "Membership ma'am" and when I didn't pass it to her quick enough she tapped her fingers on my stuff like it was the biggest inconvenience. Then "thank you" without even looking at me and shoved me out of the way onto the next. I get it is busy but they all must be trained to be rude to customers. Had a lady at a Calgary liquor location tell my friend she shouldn't "tap the [censored] out of the machine" with her debit card. I also am a cashier (12 years) and get annoyed with customers at times but would NEVER speak to them or tap my fingers and roll my eyes because a customer made me wait.

Costco refund

I am very disappointed in the service I have received from Costco.com. I have been waiting on a refund which I was told by 3 customer service represenatives stating refund takes 10 business days. My husband and I have been without a mattress for over a month and I call every week to check the status and I get the same answer. I recently had surgery and I'm suffering from lower back pain and would appreciate if I get a firm answer rather than just wait to be mailed out. I have been a member for years and never have I dealt with an issue with any company than costco.

Costco out of cypress grove, humboldt fog cheese

Please, please please bring back the humboldt fog cheese in the spokane valley store. Your team says it is out and not expected back in... Horrors... This is the best cheese you have ever stocked. I was flabbergasted when I first laid eyes on these beautiful wheels of aged goat milk with a wonderful distinctive ribbon of edible vegetable ash. If you haven't tried it you are missing a wonderful experience.
So please have mercy on us in spokane valley and restock the fog!

Costco food court: discontinuation of chocolate yogurt

I recently went to Costco to discover that acai bowls have been added to the food court menu, and at a fairly decent price. However, the chocolate yogurt no longer exists at the food court which is very disappointing for customers. A stranger next to me expressed the same disappointment at the window when she heard the news too. I tried the acai/vanilla swirl instead and it was not very good. Perhaps the acai bowls are better. Regardless, I think bringing back chocolate yogurt would be a smart move and satisfy many customers.

Costco fresh quick spinach

While trying to enjoy this spinach in a salad I have found multiple pieces of sharp black plastic. I almost cut my mouth open. Even after washing the spinach the pieces must have been small enough to make it in the salad. The plastic appeared to be broken off a machine I suppose when sorting the product. I'm lucky I didn't serve this to my family or children. I am severely disappointed.

Costco there exchange rate on dollar...

My complaint is very simple..I've lived in Cancun Mexico now for almost 25yrs, and Costco's was always fair about the exchange rate on the Dollar...For the last month or so they have fallen behind most stores here in Cancun even Walmart & Sam's Club which are also American owned...They are purposely in my eyes under cutting the value of the Dollar to make more money on the consumer...They are normally 25-30 cents under what the exchange rate should be...I have complained to the general manager at Costco's here in Cancun, and I do plan on calling there head offices in Washinton state and also filing a complaint...Thank You, Mike Coleman

P.S. I've been shopping at Costco's for over 15yrs now...

Costco customer service

On June 14th, we went to Costco Rego Park to renew my husband's card and add a new one for myself. The customer representative "Liz G" as shown on her ID was really unprofessional and with zero level of education and manners ! My husband presented his card which was a little sticky form one side, as our daughter was having fun putting her stickers on it on the way ... the customer representative clearly told us "I will give you a new card as this one has boogers all over". I still can't believe how low you can be to assume such nasty things ! You can tell that she had no education at all. I kept my composure not to go down to her level and my husband did not wanted to ruin our day ... I did not ask for a supervisor on the spot so I can concentrate on our shopping and ignore a low level behavior ! Also, she would not talk to me directly but was asking my husband "let me have her ID..." and every time I asked a question she will answer my husband. No eye contact, no smile, no manners at all ! What a shame to have such employee at your organization !

Costco chocolate frozen yogurt

Costco recently got açaí bowls, which is great! However, because they needed room for the açaí, they took away the chocolate frozen yogurt which, frankly, is one of the worst decisions they could ever make. Since I was little I have been going to Costco, looking forward to the swirl frozen yogurt that only costs 1.35$. Now, I cannot do that, because my only two options are vanilla frozen yogurt or yogurt swirled with açaí. Like the reasonable person that I am, I even tried the açaí swirled with vanilla frozen yogurt and it did not live up to my expectations. This is a disgrace and I will not be going to Costco until they bring the chocolate frozen yogurt back. Thank you for your time.

Costco membership renewal — unfair and deceptive practice

I have been an Executive Member ( Mbr# [protected]). Today I went to Costco warehouse in Riverhead NY. At checkout I was told that my membership had expired and I needed to renew. I told check out that I wanted to renew but to downgrade to regular membership. She said she could not do that. She called manager who told me I could renew as Executive at checkout but would need to go to customer service if I wanted to downgrade. I protested and noted how Cisco Made it easy to sign up for Executive membership at checkout but was making it difficult to downgrade. After some discussion, the manager allowed me to checkout using expired Executive Membership but only if I agreed that I would receive no points for my purchases. After checking out, I went to customer service to attempt to renew membership. I was told that I would need to get at the end of a very long line made up of people returning merchandise. Totally frustrated, I left.
I cannot be the first or only customer who has been victimized by this unfair and deceptive practice. Costco clearly tries to get people to sign up for the more expensive Executive Membership and then makes it as difficult and inconvenient as possible to renew and downgrade to the less expensive
Regular Membership. I am so angry that I am contemplating going to the NY Attorney General or filing a class action lawsuit. What is Costco going to do about this matter? I can be reached at [protected]@gmail.com.

Costco litter purrfect

I hate the Scoop Away product that is the only choice for litter at Costco now.
Horrible fragrance. Even worse packaging. Just Horrible.

Costco tire center

My tire is going flat and you can hear the air coming out. I ask the guy if they can fix it. He said no I would have to buy fix a flat. But they can fill with air. I go back in and ask if they could change my tire. I was told no they do not have time. I have pictures of 3 bays open. I'm 1 1/2 hours from home. Stranded thanks for the help Costco! Very disappointed and will never go to a Costco again or recommend one! Pictures have 3 bays empty now all are full 30 minuets later. Other people are walking right up and getting help right away.

Costco chocolate soft serve yogurt

Every time I frequent the 595 S Galleria Way Chandler AZ Costco I would purchase a soft serve chocolate yogurt. This is ~ 60 times a year. The last time I attempted to purchase a chocolate yogurt I was told it was discontinued for the acai (spelling) flavor. Well if this is the case I will no longer be a member of Cosco. It took a real business genius to make a decision like this. Also the only way I could let Cosco know with this many characters (not limited to 240) is with this hard to find page, another business genius decision.

I am also a member of Sams Club and they still sell the same chocolate yogurt so I will continue my membership there. Cosco chocolate yogurt was a popular item at the above mentioned location witnessing many customers purchase one before me. Who ever is making decisions like this is incompetent. So long

Costco tires

I had a bad experience all the way around. First of all, I called to make an appointment to get new tires. Second, I took time from work to take my car in on my appointment date just for them to tell me the tires I want are not in stock and have to be ordered. So, I paid and had the tires ordered. Third, someone from the tire department called me to let me know my tires are in early enough in the day that I thought I could take my car to get the tires put on. Then he told me that they dont do some day appointments. So I made an another appointment. I then took more time off of work to take my car in on my scheduled appointment date, just for them to tell me it will be 2 1/2 to 3 hour wait. I then had to call for a ride, which then I left my car. AND lastly, I picked up my car after the tires were put on just to find my hubcap broken, which the response I got for it was they noted it on the work order and it will not stay on with only two prongs and I could call the manager next week. I am very unsatisfied with my experience. I would like a phone call from a manager ASAP! My # is [protected].

Costco slow cashiers

I shop at Costco at least 2x a week. It's very aggrevating to get a cashier that is so busy chit chating with the customer that the line just grows and grows. I was the 3rd person in line and spent 20 minutes in line to check out! That's because my cashier (Ken L from Santa Clarita store #447) decided he needed to chat with everyone and give advise on how too cook meals. This is great during mid day for those that don't work but those of us coming after work, we want to get in and get out. May I suggest you don't have Ken L. working during these busy hours. Or perhaps change his roles to one of the product servers that love to chat with customers. Now I need to check who the cashier is in order to avoid these long lines. FYI - because of how long Ken L was taking 2 additional cashiers had to open up.

Costco customer service warrenton oregon

We has visited the Costco on Warrenton on June 17, Fathers Day. After checkout we decided to buy a couple polish dogs and drinks. During that time, our receipt had disappeared. When we went to the door the lady was rude and sent us to look for a Supervisor. We then spotted one just beyond the registers and didn't think anything of it and approached him about our issue but he immediately jumped on us for bringing our cart on the unpurchased side of the registers. We didn't know that it was a problem so I began to start to bring my cart back to the other side of the registers and then a woman cashier began to yell at us to bring our cart back to the unpurchased side of the registers. Now I was mad because we were literally being pushed around. I didn't even know where to stand at that point. There was no friendly direction from employees. All we got was yelled at and treated like criminals for accidentally losing our reciept! At this point I don't think I want to renew my membership. My day is still dealing bad experience. We fought amongst ourselves on what happened to the receipt and how it was dealt with. Ruined my Fathers Day!. Sorry but this is unacceptable!

Costco payment in costco shop

My wife is a COSTCO member. After COSTCO terminated American Express acceptance, I always paid for my wife with my Visa card. Suddenly today at COSTCO/Tustin they refused my payment saying only member's credit card can be accepted. I need an explanation for this issue because my card can be used anywhere why suddenly refused at COSTCO. At shop they said it is company's policy and we can pay with cash and the cash must be handed over from my wife's hand. Would appreciate for COSTCO policy deciding management to review the case and tell us why the payment is restricted to member and even cash from member's hand only. Awaiting for an open explanation.

Costco order fulfillment

On 06/07 by costco.com I had ordered a little rug, which meant to be a birthday present for a friend of mine. To avoid any payment discrepancies, I paid with a prepaid visa card. The payment went through with the delivery supposedly in 3 days.
Ten days later I found out, that not only it was not delivered, the order was cancelled. When I call, the customer care rep said it's because I used my initials instead of full name. (however, it did not prevent from withdraw money from my card!)
The same item with the same form of payment. Had been re-ordered
(order #[protected] on 06/17). And cancelled again.
This time the supervisor of the fulfillment department (malissa ph 5094541257) said that she is unable to verify first and last name on the lease of the apartment (!)
The addressee, friend of mine, for almost two years lives in highly secured rental property, where mail delivery never been a problem. It is a nonsense to say, that someone like malissa has an authority to verify names on the lease of hundreds of units. Obviously, it's done for some fishing purposes.
Everywhere cosco guarantees 100% satisfaction.in my case, so far, my order had not been filled, a present to a friend has not been shipped, and with all of that I was robbed time and money

Hello!

I LOVE so many things about Costco! I also think it's great that there is a mini restaurant to enjoy after shopping. My suggestion is to include a couple vegetarian/vegan options for this growing segment of the population. It's always appreciated when establishments like Costco are thoughtful and inclusive ...and realize that people with this regimen shop at Costco. Trust me, they appreciate and
r e m e m b e r businesses that are thoughtful and inclusive.

Costco the attitude/manner of a cashier named julio

My name is Kelvin Vong and I have been a Costco member for over 20 years. My membership no. is [protected]. I shop at Costco almost every week. Long time ago, I noticed that Costco cashiers arranged items in shopping carts with barcodes facing upward so that items could be quickly scanned and purchases completed faster. I was sometimes told to do that. I agreed with this measure as it will save both the time of Costco cashiers, myself and shoppers in the line. Therefore, I always try my best to arrange items in my shopping cart in this way. I have never encountered any problem.

But, last Saturday, June 9, 2018, When I went to the Costco located at 1600 El Camino Real, So. San Francisco and arranged my items in my shopping with barcodes facing upward ( 3 items on the transfer belt ), a cashier, named Julio, told me ( in a rude ordering tone ) to move my items from the cart to the belt. I asked him why he required to do that. He then said in a very rude tone " this is my way of doing business " and picked my items from my cart and threw them on the belt.
I was upset and asked to talk to his manager. He said " go ahead " and, pointing to a lady not far away, and told me: She is the manager. I talked and complained the lady whose name is Mechelle and she is an assistance manager. But, she seems not too care about my complaint and said you need to place small items on the belt, not in the cart. When I stressed that Julio could tell me in a polite way, but he was very rude (many customers were present at that time). And, I told her I will file a complaint to your corporate office. She then said " I will talk to him"

The transaction ID no. on my receipt is [protected], Seq# 11028, time : 13:58.

With my 22 years' shopping experiences at Costco, this is the second time I need to file a complaint. As far as I can remember, I complained about a member service desk staff when I tried to return a small item (seems to be a small heater worth around $50.00).

As an Asian Chinese, I personally observe that, although discrimination is not legal, it still prevails in U.S. Many of Costco employees are very helpful and friendly. But, few of them might not be

And, I would say that these two unpleasant shopping experiences were mainly due to racial discrimination. Should I be a native American, I wouldn't have been treated so impolitely.

Costco costco optical service

This evening, I went into Costco Optical in Orem UT to purchase glasses and received the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Kathy in Optical service treated me like a dirt. Very unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. From her facial appearance to the way she spoke. I don't know if she was having a who-knows-what bad day, but you can't treat a customer like that. Oh and that fake smile at the end when she actually noticed my feelings, it will be remembered for a good chunk of time. I really hated myself afterwards purchasing something from there.

Costco purchaser of food

I have been a member of Costco quite frankly as long as I can remember. Lately, I have been underwhelmed with the selections of products you are carrying. I can no longer get Johnsonville brats they have been replaced with "kirkland." I can no longer purchase beef ribs as you no longer carry them. The quality of the lettuce in the store is very poor. The romaine hearts are not even green just yellow and white. We are strongly reevaluating our membership with Costco. Unfortunate.
