Costco unacceptable customer service

I went into the Costco in Vista (1755 Hacienda Dr, Vista, CA 92081) on 5-2-18 and get a phone for my wife at 7:00pm. The Wireless department had 1 employee working and had a wait list. I signed up on the wait list and the associate told me there were 2 people ahead of me. So i went shopping and had a bite to eat and came back waiting at 8:00. The wireless associate was serving his last customer on the list before me, so i waited. The associate knew i was waiting and when he finished his last customer at 8:45, he turned around and told me that he couldn't sell me any phones cause the sales register was closed. He made me wait all that time and he knew he couldn't sell me anything. I dont get why he didn't just tell me that he didn't have time help me tonight and that I should come back tomorrow. He made me wait 45 minutes to an hour when he could've told me that he didn't have time for me tonight and that the store would be closing. That is the worst customer service I've seen in a long time, and someone needs to retrain that associate. You dont make someone wait an hour and than tell them you cant sell them anything cause you are closed. He could've turned around and told me to come back tomorrow cause the store was closing soon, instead of making my family and I wait all that time for nothing. That is not the way you do business at all.

Costco service from cullen at your brookhaven, atlanta, ga 30319 facility

Cullen, the dim-witted bagboy, failed to box my groceries. The time was around noon on 5/2/2018. The cashier was wearing a badge that read, Courtney. Cullen is Caucasian, medium height, scrawny, and seems to have a full head of hair. The cashier rang up my total which was about $70 and Cullen through the soup, pizza, salad, and berries into the cart. He did not bag or box them. When I asked him for a box, he picked one up from the floor and threw it into the cart.
Naturally, I told Cullen to put the groceries into the box. When he gave me some lame brained guff, I decided to report him.

Costco membership

I have been a Costco Member since the year 2000 (18 years). Today I ended the relationship.

I breed and train Police Dogs, Personal Protection dogs, Emotional Support Dogs and Therapy Dogs. In order to facilitate socialization & interaction with crowds, I have a dog in training accompany me daily. The Costco Store on Gate Parkway in Jacksonville, Fl is not welcoming. Over the past year, the employee at the door has repeatedly hassled me to the point that I avoid going to Costco. My Costco Membership expires tomorrow so after much thought I went to Costco today and demanded a refund for the past year citing my dissatisfaction with not using the membership due to Costco's dislike of K9s or their poor training of employees. A refund of $100.62 was issued and the employee had me speak to a manager named John. John said that they will better train their employees in the future and asked if I will give them a try in the future. I advised I'll consider it.

Costco customer service

Good day. Today my wife was brought to tears in Costco store, Barrie, ON. She was trying to use membership card that issued on my name but she also added to the account and has been using that card for two years with no any problems. Today, suddenly became an issue that there is different name on the card and cashier refused to release the groceries at check out. When she called me and tried to pass the phone over they also refused to speak with me on the phone. She asked to see supervisor- same result. My wife is pregnant and she is very sensitive to such things so she started crying. Instead of just help her she was told " you need to go see psychiatrist"

Costco glucosamine/hci 1500 ml with msm 1500 ml.

I bought this product in January. Soon after the purchase I began to get sick, first the flu-like symptoms but getting more acute each day till I thought it was food poisoning. I threw away all the food in my kitchen desperate to figure out what was making me sick. This went on for two months. In this time I was too sick to work. I went to various doctors and the emergency room as my symptoms continued to get worse.

One day while taking my pills I realized the addition of this pill (2 per day as recommended) was what was making me sick. I stopped taking the pills last week and have almost recovered.

This is a strong drug that should not be sold without a warning label. The diarrhea, nausea and headaches are a common side effect of this "medicine". Warnings pointing out this common but devastating side-effect should be placed on all retail packages immediately.

Costco animal tested products

Hello,

I am writing as a frequent customer to Costco in the Toronto, Ontario area. I would love to see Costco adopt a more eco-friendly business plan, specifically eliminate all products that have been tested on animals. There are many reports and scientific evidence that proves testing on other materials and NOT living things are highly successful in comparison.

I love Costco, but I will definitely forfeit my membership if I continue to see products being sold en mass with labels that indicate animal testing.

Costco wine

You haven't carried Kirkland Marlborough Ti Point Sauvignon Blanc at the Bloomingdale, IL or surrounding area for two years, Why? Spent the winter in Florida and it was widely available, but why can't we get it around here. I have been a Costco member since you came to the area and we frequent your store. Please consider stocking the above wine.

Costco animal testing

Please provide animal free from testing products in your establishment. Corporations are the only ones that can bring an end to this barbaric acts. It doesn't have to be this way for these poor animals when there are alternatives. I don't understand what kind of people can inflict pain on these innocent and trusting souls. Please help bring this to an end.

Costco returns

At the Riverhead NY Costco I have seen them take back food items such as cereal or other packaged foods and place a salable sticker on them. I guess they are putting it back on the shelves. It seems very odd that such a big company would be taking such risks when so many crazy threats are out there. I wouldn't feed my family anything from this Costco who knows were its been.

Costco location

I have been a member of sam's club for years and would like to switch to costco. unfortunately you don't want to consider putting a store in Washington, PA. We desperately want one. I feel that membership would do really well. To travel to Robinson, PA is a real night mare because of all the congestion. Please think about it. We also have lower taxes and the population is increasing tremendously in the past few years. Thank You, Sheila Harding (Costco member)

Costco harassment by private security officer

at around 5 pm, 4/23/18, monday. as i was leaving parking lot of Norwalk/calif-costco, a black/female security guard stands by my window, calling out to me. i opened door, asking why? she asks me, are you an employee? i ask why? then she asks are you a customer? did you buy something? i ask why?
then she says, this is private property, you can't ride the TRAIN, and park here. i say. i don't take the train. do you have proof? she says i have your lic/plate no. on MY LIST, and you park in the same spot all the time. ( i can park wherever i want. also, costco has cameras ).
i then ask her, why are you single-ing me out? why are you harassing me? what is your name, which she refuses to give me. as a parting shot, she says, i have you on the "Blacklist", you will be towed. i then ask her to move her golfcart, behind my car, as i have to get to work, she takes another 2 to 3 mins., while talking on the walkie-talkie before backing out.
as i head to the parking lot exit by the gas station, she makes a uturn, stops in front of me, taking more video&pics of me..huh?
this is outright harassment. i frequent this costco being the closest to my house, and on the way to work, . i frequent this store every 2 days for a gas fillup. go to the store for grocerry, or the foodcourt. now i have to shop elsewhere, coz i'm afraid to be towed.
i am very confident your good office will rectify this matter ASAP.

Costco food court

We are long time Customers of Costco. We used your food court quite often. The food court in Myrtle Beach South Carolina recently had a renovation. After reopening we realize you have changed your ice cream and yogurt items. You added new items and took away the old the reason we kept going back was for the Caramel and strawberry yogurt . numerous people would go there just for that. Why would you ruin a good thing who's ever idea that was not very efficient and smart. I'll be spending my money elsewhere for my desserts

Costco appliances

I ordered a washer and dryer from Costco online. The night before delivery I received an automated call saying delivery would be 2:30-4:30 PM. I waited and waited. At 6:00 two guys showed up. They told me that the appliances were too heavy for two men. They hardly spoke English so I couldn't determine why they didn't realize this before arriving at my house. I spoke to Costco customer service and Innovel Logistics, Costco's outside delivery company. They gave inconsistent explanations but said the only thing they could do was schedule a four man delivery five days later. I explained that I would be gone from 9 AM to 3 PM that day. They said the delivery could be made between 7 and 8 AM and confirmed this in an email to Costco customer service. Costco called me to verify this. At 5 PM the evening before the delivery Innovel called to say they couldn't make the delivery as promised and would arrive at 9 AM. I reminded them of the promised delivery time and that I had to leave at 9. They acknowledged the 7 to 8 AM promised time but said it wouldn't happen. I asked if they could deliver after 3 PM. They said they would try and would call me back. When they called back they said the delivery could only be between 11 AM and 1 PM—when I repeatedly told them I would not be home. They absolutely refused to budge. Costco customer service told me they were powerless to do anything. I canceled the order. I have been a Costco member for nearly 20 years. They have lost me as a customer. I have never experienced such clueless and unprofessional service.

Costco milk jugs

Recently, and along with many fine items that myself and my family purchase, one that I come across that I don't like is the one gallon milk jugs. They are award to handle and the seal is very hard to remove. Let me mention that I so want my milk safe from tampering but when it comes down to cutting off the seal with a knife or trying to pull it off with your teeth, great job but could you add a somewhat longer pull tab. Your milk products 2% to mention is great tasting but could you look into a better and more efficient and comfortable jug.

Costco rude cashier

I recently went to Costco in Wharton, NJ to purchase over 400 dollars worth of goods. I was told by the Cashier Walter F. That my card was expired. I asked him to try another card and he answered me in a very rude tone. I'm a retired senior citizen. A little politeness would go a long way. Maybe he needs anger management. I don't think I'll be visiting this store anytime soon.

Costco pharmacy department shorting my prescription of methotrexate repeatedly.

Repeatedly in 2018 the Spokane Valley Pharmacy has been substituting preservative free methotrexate for my normal methotrexate. My normal methotrexate I can get 2 injections from each vial. However the vials without preservatives I can only get 1 injection per vial.
With each substitution I am only getting 2 vials requiring multiple lengthy calls and another visit to pick up the additional 2 vials to complete my monthly needs.
This month has beyond aggravation. Again 2 vials short of preservative free. Called and was told there was no supply that day and I told them we would be by in Friday to pick up the 2 vials. No vials when my husband went to pick it up. Then I called again this week to pick up the 2 vials and have missed my normal dose day. Said we would be there on Thursday. Thursday the pharmacy said we could not pick up until Friday.
I was charged for 4 doses and only received 2 repeatedly. Multiple calls and visits without problems being resolved.
Without weekly injections my autoimmune disease is NOT controlled causing serious consequences.

Costco portofino comfort 5 pc fire chat set

I purchased the patio furniture online from Costco in March. My wife recently passed and we scheduled a memorial service for her at our house in May. The furniture was delivered in April, the top of the fire table was shattered.

I called Costco who informed me that the product is from RST brands and they have nothing to do with it. They gave me a number to contact RST. I called RST and they blamed Costco and the delivery people. I went back and forth doing everything I could to have the broken piece delivered and assembled with no luck. Not one of the companies will take responsibility for the issue and they all pass the buck to the other. Costco told me the RST Brand often sends broken pieces or sets without all of the parts, RST claimed Costco should handle the situation because that is where I bought the set and the shipping company claims they received the item broken and have tried and tried to get the new part without any luck. Today - May 18th the set still sits on my patio in boxes. I called the shipping company and they said they have had no luck getting any info from RST or Costco. I called RST, the women (Jessica) said they had no notes or info about my issue and her records showed the piece was delivered without issue. I called Costco who said its an RST Brand issue even though I bought it on Costco.com and nothing they can do about... "sorry but that's how it works". I have put 8-10 hours into this, I had 6 big RST boxes on my patio during my wife's memorial service and 2 months after I placed the order I still have no idea what to do to resolve the issue. I plan to post on every social media (with pictures) and every site until one of these companies takes responsibility. I tried to buy something for the older guests at my wife's memorial service to sit in and I ended up with a part time job and huge boxes on my patio while grieving my wife's passing. Thanks Costco, I mean RST or... well you tell me.

Costco phone protection plan

Please forward details of your complaints procedure.
I was mis-sold a protection plan for my iphone, which I purchased at the Okotoks store after being assured that up to 4 handsets could be replaced for ANY reason within the 2 year term, with next day delivery, and at a cost of $50. Immediate replacement was the only reason I agreed to purchase the plan, since I require my phone for work. I bought the phone on August 19 2016 and have dropped it, so need a replacement. After a lengthy online process (not the short phone call I was assured was all it took) I am now being charged $80 and I am informed that a replacement will only be mailed out AFTER my old handset has been received and inspected! This is in stark contrast to the assurances I was given upon purchasing the plan, and I will be seeking further advice regarding fraudulent selling of this plan. You cannot sell a product by giving misleading and inaccurate information to the purchaser.

Costco use of lift trucks prohibited from loading vehicles

4/15/18 store 1277 2:39pm truck loaded at 3:00pm. [protected] / [protected] I purchased a 500+ lb. Honeywell generator mounted on a pallet with auto switch panel included at your East Lansing store Sunday at 3pm. It weighs more than what your employees are allowed to lift but yet the manager on site that day said we must hand load it in my pickup truck. I already have a damaged tailgate I explained and did not care if he bumped the truck with his lift truck. I kindly explained to him I've been disabled with 5 ruptured discs inoperable in my lower back and just had a titanium hip installed 2months ago I should not lift anything heavy. I also explained to him i am parked in Handicap spot #3 because of my disabilities. Did not matter still forced to hand lift into truck with only he and I on my side. He was much shorter than I and did not give proper lifting commands to lift on 3. The other side lifted first shoving all the weight on me smashing my left hand onto the tailgate also leaving me a half a foot short of the tailgate height. As I gave it all I had a disc popped on my lower right side and I screamed out to set it down. At that moment someone else ran up and shoved me aside to accomplish the mission. What a joke, lift truck on site to pull it from top of rack but refuse touse it to load in fear of damaging a vehicle overharming people. I've been laying awake at night in severe pain exploring my options. The lack of concern you have for customers over profits is sickening. The manager clearly saw my wife back out of the 3rd handicap spotwith the placard hanging from the mirror. You should seriously reconsider selling heavy items in the future. My lower back is severely damaged because of your managers greed for a bonus. His stupidity is inprecenndted I seriously doubt this is policy and don't understand his reasoning. He stated he is new from another store South and caught a lot of flack for ordering to much patio furniture with the snow still flying and temps below freezing. He is not mangement material, his short stature was obvious when he first saw my truck and made a comment about how tall it was. It is a factory suspension he obviously saw It as a challenge as I took on all of his weight when the generator tipped in my direction after his lift commands were lacking and out of sync with the others closest to the main entrance. I had a loader at home to unload and hookup for pending ice storm. Instead it sits in the barn still on pallet. My wife saw and witnessed my hand get smashed, all the weight get shifted to me and the pain in my face as I tried to set it down when the others continued to lift.

Costco chicken boneless legs and thighs

After purchasing the six package of Kirkland boneless legs and thighs, I opened two packages today in order to marinate and grill them. To my surprise, instead of usual four to five WHOLE pieces, I found grape-sized chunks (more than half of one package). I am unable to go to Costco Gaithersburg store (#213) tonight to complain in person, and will not feel comfortable carrying raw pieces of meat to Costco personnel.

This is my first ever complaint (having been Price Club member in the 1990s, and presently Costco member #[protected] since 08/2001.
