la colombe draft latte
Hi,
we are a business, and sale a variety of drinks from costco. The one we are complaining about is for the la colombe draft latte. They have been sitting in our fridge and one of our customers purchased one and they were expired. It looked as if there was chunky cheese inside. The experiation date on these cans are 02/22/2018. I opened a few others and they all seem that way.
tire service center jacksonville fl
On November second I took my car in for tire rotation. The service here is ALWAYS slow but has generally been good. On that visit the young man told me that it was time to replace the tires. " no rush but replace soon". Thank you and I left. Today November seventh I returned to talk about replacing the tires and do the " torque verification". This time an older, he panic man asked " who is next" . I went to the desk and told him that I wanted to talk about replacing the tires and do the torque verifications. Upon receiving my membership card he informed me that it was not four tires but only two. I told him I bought four tires at the same time and want to replace all four. He turned the computer screen toward me and said bring your proof that you bought four tires. I told him I was not interested in looking at the screen and that I bought four tires and I will bring him the proof. Absolutely rude, curt and uncurtious. I went out met him at my car and showed him the record of buying four tires. He replied " you bought them at different time" No I bought them at the same time. He checked the torque. Then proceeded to tell me tires do not need replacing . Then proceeded to tell me that my car needs wheel alignment. Through out the whole process he remained rude, curt and totally non caring.
My problem now is do I need new tires? Do I need alignment? Am I riding on tires that are not safe? Which of the two persons servicing my care was right? I am suspespious and concerned about the older person simply responded with a retaliation and not a concern about actually providing me with an honest and concerned opinion.
Costco is a great business and I frequently go to costco. But unfortunalty I have noticed a general drop in the service given.
Thank you
horrible service by costco citi credit services
On 11/4 I have made a payment of $450 to Costco City account. Since I had large expenditure and since I was used to efficiency, I made another direct electronic payment through Costco Citi app of $2000 on 11/5.
On 11/6 the Costco Citi account still did not show the credit available, so I called Costco Citi to find out what was the holdup. After 30 minutes of run around I was told that the money, $450 and the $2000, would NOT be credited "immediately, " but if I had made the payment by debit card, they would have been.
*No* such option nor warning nor advice was present on the Costco Citi app.
Since I was assured by the Costco Citi representative that the funds would be available IMMEDIATELLY, I immedfiately made a payment of additional $1, 000 via debit card to Costco Citi.
Still nothing showing up credited on my Costco Citi account, so I again called Costco Citi; yes, AGAIN. After additional hour or so of run around, stone walling, and sarcasm, I was told, basically, that Costco, through its partner Costco Citi, does not care; I can "F" myself but they will not do anything to help me. They locked up the $3, 450 in limbo, and just because I need to buy food or buy a ticket to fly home, or buy whatever else I need, Costco Citi does not care; I was told to "use another card." THANK YOU, COSTCO!
All they had to do was to post a message on the app "Payments made through this app may be held and not available for of time; to have the funds available immediately through the Costco Citi account please call us to make the payment using a debit card." Apparently, Costco does not care that much!
I am stuck 3, 500 miles away from home, Costco Citi is holding my funds in limbo, and they do not have to care -- Costco does not have to care. So it doesn't.
kirkland canned wild alaskan sockeye salmon
November 6, 2017
While eating the salmon I realized I was biting on something very hard. I observed a very small rounded object that was in the salmon. This happen once before when eating this product. When I went to the Costco store they offered me a replacement can. After waiting several weeks I tried the product again, and once again a similar object was in my mouth after chewing the salmon. I have two more cans that have not been opened.

glasses
I was seen by eye docrtor in holbrook ny location. Dr was great. Customer service at ete glass counter was horribly disappointing. The glasses i ordered were recieved. They are too small. No fitting ever took place and i would like phone number to speak w someone immediately. I would like proper sized glasses and i would nor like to deal w same location. Even at pick up the womam helping me did mot seem phased that i told her they were uncomfortable and i had to request tgat she clean them off before i left. I was leaving next morning for vacation and i needed to see while i was away!... so i did not argue and i took them. I would like them replaced with the proper size. I have ordered glasses in the past from this location amd these are a different size.
parking costco tucson
I arrived at the costco northwest side of Tucson at 9:30am. I now know why I can never get a spot close to the door. All the employees were parked in the best spots. The parking spots closest to the door were taken. I would think the employee parking would be in the back or further away. Except for of course a manager who needs to come and go during his shift.
payment cashier
I went to Costco Fullerton yesterday to buy groceries. At checkout (OP# 123), the customer service person (Francisco L.) had no one to help put the groceries into the cart. My children had to do it. I had no problem with that, but he kept piling the meats on top of the breads! He would not even say a word to us! This was appalling and inhealthy. I have shopped at Costco, sometimes several times a month for 19 years, and never been treated like this.
Did you ask him to stop putting the meat on top of the bread products? He may not be used to bagging and therefore might not know what's correct and what isn't.
executive membership
I walked into Costco to get Business membership. The person at the counter pushed me into getting the Executive membership offering a $10 gift card and nothing else. I asked if there were any offers for the other memberships, he said no...this is all we have. I went ahead and paid $120 for the Executive membership.
The next day, I googled online for Costco membership deals, low and behold, there is a deal on the Costco website for the lower membership (which is half the price of the Executive Membership) plus a $20 gift card, plus 3 free store items. (Please see the attached screen shot from the Costco website). After seeing this, I went into a different nearby Costco and asked about this. The gentleman's response, there was nothing he could do. Meanwhile, as a new member, I feel like I was duped into over paying for a membership I didn't ask for and then not given full disclosure of any other potential offers on the lower memberships. Is this truly how Costco does business?
Is it possible that the offer was for online or participating locations only?
The screen capture you provided says "Exclusive Online-Only Offer." You would have had to purchase the membership online to take advantage of it.
pizza
I ordered a pepperoni pizza. We went to pick it up and it came out quickly. We drove home and opened the box and the pizza was cold and dried out. I should have checked before we left the Costco. I love Costco pizza and my friends have always enjoyed but this was disappointing. It was a ten minute drive so there should be no way that our pizza be the equivalent of being left out all day.
rude associate
Hi I was shopping today at Costco in Rancho Cucamonga California and deeply embarrassed and hurt by attitude shown by 2 associates helping with jewelry sale. One of them was Allen and the other older associate whose name badge I didnt catch...started with a z or a j(African American). They were helping a customer with a piece of jewelry and I asked one of them for help since there were 2 associates. The older guy just dismissed with finger movement which was highly offensive and Allen rudely says after we finish this. They could have politely asked me to wait.
I have noticed your rancho Cucamonga store associates overall are very rude compared to the Fontana counterparts.
I have been coming to this store for over 10 years but never felt more unwelcomed and humiliated like today. May be skin color does matter since I am Asian Indian.
I should think twice before I shop here.

all day towing llc
November 2, 2017 at 4:17 pm (PST)
This towing company was very rude, unethical, and unprofessional in delivering Emergency Roadside Assistance, which I've purchased through Costco Online. All Day Towing sent me a text stating that they will arrive within 30min. They ended up arriving early at my resident home where my car with flat tire was parked in front. The driver claimed that he rang the doorbell several times and attempted to call me but there was no answer so he left quickly. His claim is false because he did not attempt to call or text me even after he rang the doorbell. I left the keys with my daughter who is expecting the towing company...however, she did not hear the doorbell or a knock on the door. He left without making attempt to call or text my cell number. Furthermore, the driver told dispatch that he made several attempts to contact me via phone but I did not pick up which is a total lie because I've never received a call from the towing company other than the initial text to tell me that they will be arriving within 30mins. I called to file a formal verbal complaints on the driver to All Day Towing. I spoke to a gentlemen whom I believe it was the manager on duty at the time. I told him that I felt the driver did not make reasonable efforts to contact me via phone before he abruptly left my resident after a ringing the doorbell and nobody answered. Furthermore, the driver lied to dispatch saying that he made several attempts to call me but there was no answer..so he left. I told All Day Towing manager that it was not fair and unethical business practice that the driver did not make good on the towing service and to make matter worse...he lied about the multiple attempts to call me on my cell which I've never received a single call from the driver. The manager did not care and basically said "we not here to babysit you. Read your policy stating that you must be at your car at the time of towing arrival" My rebuttal was " yes...I understand and know the policy...my daughter was home with the keys...she did not hear the doorbell because she was upstair and might have been in the restroom. However, I don't understand why your driver could not call or text me on my cell before leaving my home?" The manager response with "Read your policy" and that's when I told him that he was being a [censor]. The manager responded with "[censor] off" and hung up on me. I was mortified by his response and reaction to my complaints on the driver. I hope Costco would reconsider in pulling this vendor for their Roadside Assistance program. The treatment that I've received was unprofessional and unethical in any good business practices. I'm fearful of using Costco Roadside Assistance that I've purchased, not because I don't like the program. I just don't want to run into this situation again with All Day Towing.
please bring back the mediterranean pasta salad!
Please bring back the Mediterranean Pasta Salad it's one of my favourite pasta salads that you guys carry. Went to Costco today to find that it's only a seasonal which was disappointing and I was told by an associate that I was the third person today that came in looking for the salad. Please bring it back for all year round! Would make ME AND SO MANY PEOPLE HAPPY! :)
deceptive smear negative comments about competitors & unethical behaviours
I received an offer from my credit union - navy fcu: free 1st year gold star membership. I signed up online thru navy fcu link and stoped by costco at 11220 dallas pkwy, frisco, texas 75033 on 30 oct 2017 to sign up. Customer service agent brian began asking why it took so long to join costco and where I was shopping before. The moment I mentioned sam's club, walmart, kroger, tom thumb, and everywhere in between. He began his "smear, deceptive, negative & unfound" truth about their competitors. From sam's club selling inferior products/bad & rotten fish/higher prices to walmart's unfriendly return exchange refund policies to kroger's limited locations/high prices to bestbuy's restrictive service policy/high prices to no quality products from all retailers. I asked him to stop his negativities, smear and deceptive remarks. But he continued. He eventually stopped after I repeatedly told him to stop. Sad thing... I had to tell him 6x. He then switched to why/how come I didn't go for executive membership level. I kept saying no even though he had mentioned $60 rebate gift card but at the end I said sure and went for it. But informed him that it will be downgraded next year or sooner because I don't send much on bulk buying. Before I left, I told him to stop his negativities smear and deceptive sell pitches. This company needs to stop all of its pushy negativities smear deceptive unfound & misleading campaigns & advertisements & practices.
employee/door greet
A company's first priority is the customer and providing great customer service, because without the customer there is no company.
I became a Costco member last November and my membership is up for renewal. Before becoming a Costco member I was a member at Sam's Club(still am). We recently moved and I have been using my Costco membership more. The convenience of Costco in location to my new home is great. However, when visiting the Costco location on Central Ave in Toledo, Ohio I am disappointed with the door procedure. I am speaking of the "door greeter" and process around checking for membership. These procedures are very aggressive and over the top. It is known that in order to purchase items in the store you have to have a membership. I still wonder why such a big deal is made at the door?
It is embarrassing to have an associate yelling out after you because you forgot to show your card. Secondly, it is incriminating, as if I have done something wrong. Thirdly, it seems racially charged. I go into Sam's and do not have this problem. I am greeted with a very friendly smile and "hello" . This promotes a happy vibe and start to my shopping experience. I can not say the same for Costco because there have been several occassion where I have been so upset by my door experience I just wanted to quickly exit the store. I should not have to feel this way especially at a member based store. I have always heard such great things about Costco, which led to my decision on becoming a member. However, my experience does not match the feedback.
Today (Oct. 31, 2017), I was in the store and had another unpleasant experience at the door. I was on the phone and was in a rush. Walked in quickly showed my card. I guess the lady at the door didn't see it and proceeded to yell out for me(very embarrassing) and sent an associate John (Asian descent) after me. He "chased me down" asking if I had a membership (I was already down the main isle just past electronics). I showed him my membership and proceeded to address my dismay of the situation. He was very rude and wanted to go word for word with me. I told him I was done with the conversation and no longer wanted to talk. I asked him for his name and he arrogantly held his badge up off his shirt and said "John". He continued to walk in a close distance to my cart (to the meat/produce department at the back of the store) and listen to my conversation. It made me uncomfortable and added to my frustration.
I was so upset today with my interactions at Costco, that I am uncertain if I want to renew my membership. There has to be a better way for door procedures. It is incriminating walking into that Costco location without membership card. People have so much going on these days and things happen. Everyday is not perfect, my day should not have to endure mistreatment because of not showing a membership card. My shopping experience should be enjoyable and pleasant. Today, was everything but that.

service
We preordered 7 pizza's at 10:00 am from the Costco located on Exposition Parkway, Sacramento, CA. We show up at 11:00 am and had to wait in line until we finally received our pizzas at 12:30. This was a disorganized mess and what is worse, if you made the mistake of listening to the workers, you got to watch people in line behind you, leave line and go into the 'prepaid' line which was supposed to be for hot dogs, etc. - anything but pizza - and watch these people walk away with boxes of pizza. The worker at the prepaid pizza line allowed cuts when you spoke her language while the people who followed the stated direction, burned up in the hot sun. This was the most obscene case of BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I have encountered in my 56 years on this earth and one I will not recreate. What is Costco going to do to give me my time back? This may be a reason to cancel Costco membership FOREVER.
optical
On Sunday Oct 29th I went into Costco in Puyallup, WA after church because my sons spring broke on his glasses (he is 7 and plays soccer). We bought the glasses at Cascade Eye & Skin in Puyallup in August but they are not open on a Sunday so I thought the 2 ladies working that Sunday morning could put the piece back in that fell off and add a pin or two and secure his glasses until I could get him in to Cascade Eye the next day after school. The 2 ladies working around 10:30 this morning we very sweet and kind until they realized that I didn't buy the glasses through Costco. (I have in the past but my insurance works better with Cascade so I didn't this time)... I told them I know where I bought them but that he just needed them to get him by until his replacement frames would get in... they immediately turned very rude and gave me the glasses back saying, "they are broken. There is nothing we can do." I repeated that I had the piece that fell off and that I was sure she could do SOMETHING to secure them but she kept saying they couldn't do anything and they were broken. I was SO mad. I am an executive member that spends lots of money at this warehouse and for us to be treated so rudely?! I don't think so. I then made a comment to my son that we will just have to wait until tomorrow because Mark at Cascade is AWESOME and will be able to secure them for him... and she made a rude, sarcastic sound. Basically, what happened was they realized they weren't OBLIGATED to do anything because I didn't purchase them there so she didn't want to. They were already broken so she couldn't have made them worse if she is worried about liability.. As a side note: took my son in the next day to Mark at Cascade Eye and he fixed them to where they are almost perfect.. tight and secured by attaching the piece I provided and adding some pins or something he said... and his new frames will be in in a few days. So tell me WHY these two ladies couldn't do ANYTHING at all yet this man took 5 minutes to make a little boys glasses wearable until his new ones come in so he could see at school?! Rude, nasty customer service. If you look up my name/account you will see I spend over $1000 a year with you guys... maybe I will take my business elsewhere. I'm telling you, the SECOND they realized i didn't buy those glasses at Costco they turned and were RUDE and unhelpful. Not the kind of company I want to support anymore.
Most stores won't attempt to repair a product that wasn't purchased from them. As you said, they are not obligated to. Additionally they could be liable for any further damages caused. Yes the glasses were broken, but it was only the springs. One of the employees could still potentially damage the lenses or make the damage worse.
tire center
I have bought tires at the Foster City, CA Costco for years but this is the first time I got that feeling in my gut that I was dealing with dishonest people.
Costco sells its tires with a Road Hazard warranty. When I got a nail in a tire and took it to the Foster City Costco several hours before closing time, two employees told me they wouldn't have time to fix it that day.
But I suspect that if I were BUYING tires (i.e. bringing in revenue), they would find the time.
Evidently this Costco employs a business practice of only very reluctantly honoring the Road Hazard warranty. This is an unethical business practice.
You are only assuming that they are being dishonest and have no real evidence. Additionally since it sounds like you have had positive experiences many times over, this may have just been one isolated incident.
horrible customer service at costco
My mother and I where at the register and we felt a little tension from the cashier when her coworker mentioned to her (Sharon T.) "you're not having a good day today" while laughing and walking away and the cashier shook her head and looked at my mother and she rudely told my "mother swipe the card again", my mother was confused and surprised with the ladies tone my mother swiped the card again and told the cashier her balance and the cashier spoke over my mother to tell her the exact same thing my mother said, I mentioned to the cashier the service was bad, she ignored me and turned away, at this point my mom was shocked and snatched the receipt and the cashier held on to it and called my mother "a rude little slag" i told the cashier "that is disrespectful!, what is your name?" And she proudly hollers her name, as we where leaving I heard someone holler "b[censor]" I turned back and her coworkers where looking at us, talking and laughing. We had purchased about $80 dollars worth, my mom goes there alone most of the time she is small and in her mid 50's and is very kind I don't appreciate this.
rotten food!
To whom it may concern, I am very disappointed in Costco I went to the davie fl location on Sunday 10/22 got items! I bought bagels & muffind 2 bags of bagels & two containers of blueberry & chocolate chip muffins by Friday 10/27 I noticed both bags of bagels were full of mold so I took them back no problem well yesterday I now noticed the remaining muffins are also full of mold!
If you still have your receipt, return them to the location of purchase for a replacement or refund.
