Costco policy

While trying to enter the Kelowna Costco with our friend who happens to be blind and had a guide dog in harness we were told we could not enter without valid BC Guide dog identification. While being handicapped is difficult enough having the added obstacles and the humiliation of being barred at the door waiting for a manager to come and OK the American guide dog identication ( which is where she was trained)is something that I find unacceptable.
Your policy is demeaning. A guide dog harness is clearly labeled. It was completely obvious from any observer that this service dog was working. I ask that you review your policy and educate your employees to not be so insensitive to blind people. The person at the door was rude.

Costco didn't receive my e-tickets and haven't received refund

On Friday 7/28/2017 I purchased E- tickets on Costco.com I never received them. I called your Costco.com customer service and Eric tried to resend something was wrong and he couldn't send them he told me to give him until 5:30pm. I did still no tickets. I called back and told Stephanie your customer service rep to just refund me my money I didn't want to waste more time waiting for them figure it out. She said ok and that I would receive a refund confirmation and I haven't received that either.membership# [protected]

Costco checkout

I was paying for the Nikon 5600, organic 2% milk, and Nature Valley granola bars. After checked out and paid one of your considerate employees had the courtesy to ask me if I could afford such an expensive camera. That too in front of other customers. I find that extremely insulting and inappropriate.

Costco smoking policy

This is more of a request, in my opinion, to create or enforce an employee smoking policy. Costco is not the only corp that doesn't seem to have a policy concerning smoking areas. Every time I walk up to either of our 2 Costco stores, I walk through a cloud of cigar or cigarette smoke. I don't mind people smoking. I just don't like to be forced to inhale their 2nd hand smoke to go enjoy one of my favorite stores...Costco. I just don't understand why management allows employees to hang out on the wall in front of the store and smoke. There is a large dock and plenty of room behind the warehouse to set aside a smoking area. I think it hurts the look that I would imagine Costco is trying to achieve. Thank you.

Costco wireless center

07/29/17 MAE was attending when we went to go get a new phone. We were the only customer at the time but she made us feel like she wants us out of there. We went to costco temecula ready to get a new phone but we just werent sure which one. we would ask nicely for information (we only asked a couple of questions) and she would be very short with her response and would walk away while doing so. We already felt weird about how she was treating us but we really wanted to get the phone that we contemplated on wether to just get over her attitude and get it but she stayed at the children's area reading the books. We decided to just leave and thats when she went back to her work area. We are not ones to complain but we just dont understand how she treated us like that despite us being nice in the first place. She didnt even bother a single smile. We are hoping for any improvement regarding this matter. Thank you very much.

Costco berry smoothie

Hello, I have been enjoying your berry smoothie for well over 10 years. I have always looked forward to getting the smoothie when I visit. I recently got one of the new smoothies and it was terrible. The consistency of the strawberries was weird and had a bad after taste. I am bummed that I will no longer get my weekly smoothie while shopping.

Costco harry's organi tapioca pudding

I have eaten this product in the last year 3-4 times before.
Purchased this tapioca last Thursday. Ate some on Sunday and broke out with severe face rash next morning, on Monday, July 24. I didn't know what was wrong but it was red, hot, and bumpy.
Saw dermatologist, didn't know what it was. She prescribed a steriod face cream for the allergy and my insurance charged me $80.
I ate the tapioca again Wednesday night, July 26, and within an hour, my face got red, hot, flushed, I felt dizzy and got allergy problems again! I did some research on tapioca, and it's a root that makes cyanide. CYANIDE poisoning is red flushed face, bumps, allergic reaction and anaphylaxis.
It's possible that the company didn't cook this batch correctly and it's bad, or that I'm just now developing an allergy to it. Please investigate as this may need to be recalled.

We loved Harry's Tapioca. We wish Costco would carry it again. It is the best next to my deceased mother in law's...there is no reaction to that pudding! It is all made with whole ingredients! Just our opinion, never had a problem unless it was on the scale!

We loved Harry’s Tapioca Pudding too and can’t find it anywhere since Costco stopped carrying it. Costco, PLEASE bring it back!

When Cost Co has Harry's tapioca pudding in stock, we consume two tubs a week and have never had any reaction to it even though I have a history of allergy.

The problem with Harry's tapioca pudding is that Cost Co doesn't support it with free samples and info on calories, low fat, etc. so few people are aware how good it is.

Costco crystal water springs home delivery

I subscribed for Cystal Springs Water Delivery, since they are promoted through Costco. The issue is that, they deliver the water cans with out even being requested and they just drop in the drive way. Currently I am running out of space putting these water can inside my garage. I have called almost 8 times and spoke with escalation managers with Patricia, John and Lynn, they do promise me a day, but the pick was never done, its almost 2 weeks since I have almost 11 water cans on my driveway. The customer service is pathetic and escalation managers have no clue on whats going on with delivery and pick.

Costco iphone 6s phone deal running today

Hi,
I went to Costco specially today at below location 13700 Middlebelt Rd, Livonia, MI 48150 to get iPhone with Tmobile and Costco promotion gift card of 400 USD. I was talking to Sales Rep and finalized the deal. He pulled my account and told me that he cannot give the phone and tried with multiple reason. I told that i can resolve this rt away but he ignored me and discussed with other customer and gave it to him. I told him that he can give me the phone on my wife account but without knowing anything he said that i was asking for Fraud. I dont understand what fraud he was referring to. I have been Costco member since the day i came to US but never had such bad experience. I feel cheated as many of my friends got the phone on the same criteria where i had.

Costco culture

Every time I come to costco I hate how I have to show my membership card at the door. I am a mother of young children and It is very inconvenient to get out my wallet and card at the beginning of the visit AND at the end. Some greeters are very rude when I say I have it but don't want to dig it out yet. Today she made me wait by the hot door with my two fussy kids while I found it in my diaper bag. I wanted to cry. I just wanted top pick up some quick items and always stopping at the door on the way in and out makes my costco trip so much longer than other grocery stores. I only want to get it out when I am purchasing. My friends and I have complained together about this policy and the receipt policy. So I know I'm not alone in this view. I understand the receipt policy but I do not understand why a card at the door is necessary. You don't have to show your library card to get in a library. But everyone knows that you will need it at check out. The same should apply to costco. Having a greeter at the door is great. But I don't enjoy the rudeness I get when I don't have my card readily available because I have a baby on my hip instead. It makes me not want to shop at costco anymore. Now that my baby is done with formula I might just do walmart pickup from now on. Please revisit this policy or I will revisit whether I want to renew my membership this year.

Costco pharmacy

We have been long time Costco members. I just recently dealt with their pharmacy manager who was arrogant and dismissive to my complaint about one of the pharmacy employees. I then talked to the warehouse manager who also had a very non-caring reaction to my concerns. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. Although the cheapest Prince George Costco Pharmacy has horrible customer service

Costco costco bakery chocolate chip muffins

Today (7/25/17) my 13 year old son was eating a chocolate chip muffin that we purchased from the Kenosha/Pleasant Prairie Costco which are usually a beloved snack at our house! When he bit down on something hard. He spit out the bite and we found a screw (hardware/fastener with blue loctite) in the muffin! This is completely unacceptable and a safety hazard. I expect a full 8D/root cause analysis to be included in your response.

We will monitor my son's teeth for dental issues over the next several days as he likely cracked or fractured one or more of his permanent teeth. Should we see any issues that require dental attention, we will let you know the impact. Please send a direct phone line number and contact name for further support as needed.

Costco super slow tire service at costco, 2838 wake forest road, raleigh, nc

On 7/25/17, we arrived at Costco before 10:00 am to purchase a tire. It took nearly 3 hours for the tire service to install "one" tire. Another customer with a 9:50 am appointment had to wait 2 1/2 hour to get "one" tire changed.

When I walked by the workshop at 11:07 am, there were 3 cars sitting idle. Only one technician was in the shop, having a lengthy conversation on the phone. When I checked again at noon, none of the technicians were in the workshop.

There was no supervisor making sure that things are done in a timely manner.

I have purchased tires exclusively at Costco for many years with the wait time of 1 to 1 ½ hours. It is totally unreasonable to wait for 3 hours to get “one” tire changed. This lousy service reflects badly on a company like Costco which prides itself on offering quality in every area of business.

Costco at&t/ directv bundle purchased at costco kiosk

I set up an appointment to have all the above installed Saturday 7/22 at the same time Direct TV showed up, AT&T never did. I have spent over four hours on the phone with incompetent people I have no appointment scheduled. I was sent to the escalated department for the Company that handles the kiosks in Costco. I spoke with a guy name Ryan who's accomplished nothing. He gave me a number to call. I called that number four times - waited on hold for 15 minutes EACH TIME, listening to STATIC only to be asked told to leave a message after 15 minutes they want me to leave a message. Btw they never call back. That alone was one hour. I need someone to call me at [protected]. Someone who can rectify this promptly! If not I ask that Costco come to pick up two new TV sets I bought from them -refund my money and have DirecTV remove their satellite& reinstall the dish network system. Costco check out

There are never enough registers open, especially at self-checkout. At Sam's club, they offer a mobile scan app and check-out process that makes shopping much more enjoyable and faster. We are seriously considering changing clubs because our time is too valuable to be spent in long lines especially if we are just running in for something quick. Costco needs to keep up with the times and current technology or it will lose customers like us.

Costco me and my father were forced to take pictures on our membership cards

Me and my father were forced to take pictures on our membership cards by Nancy from 1600 El Camino Real, South San Francisco, CA 94080.
We have done nothing wrong. And we keep saying that we don't want any pictures on our cards. But she said "you have to do it!"
She didn't give us any reason, the most likely reason is we asked for the downgrade of our membership. After that, she forced us to take pictures on our membership cards although we told her we don't want to do that.

Costco employee at the door

An employee at the door (senior woman, white, blond hair, russian type accent) told me she had to check my back pack. I was with my baby in a carrier and had one item, a birthday cake with my receipt. This was ridiculous. I shop at Costco all the time and have never been told I have to be checked, and I have seen loads of people with backpacks and large bags not get checked. I felt targeted for being Hispanic and really do not appreciate it.

I'm sorry you were picked out of the crowd for that, every bag is supposed to be checked no matter who it is. Even employee bags are checked every time they leave.

Costco service

My co-worker and I came to buy craft services for a production. We had used the company card recently and not been alerted to our names being inactive. User experience for the customer would be greatly improved if you caught this issue on the way in. We had to wait at the till after being shoved aside, while multiple people told us we can't help you...Go to the membership counter. Had to go through four people who obviously didn't care about the rigamorole we were put through. It added stress to an already stressful prep day. We love the products Costco provides and it works well for the line of work we are in (advertising and film), but the customer experience and user experience in store could be greatly improved. I am currently still waiting at the till with all our food after half an hour of waiting.

Costco customers services

I came to Costco in Henderson, Las Vegas on 07/16/17 to return some of the items that I got from my daughter. I explained to Stacy, the clerk at the counter that my daughter and son in-law gave me some drinks (a day before) that I could not use because I am allergic to them so I would need to return them (unopened).

After almost half an hour asking different questions about my return with a very rude attitude, she then agreed for me to talk to her manager. After waiting for about 15 minutes, a gentleman came out, Mr. Jonathan. I explained to him my situation again, he then told me that he will get the manager. I then waited again.

Finally, Ms. Richelle, the manager came and talked to me. She told me right in front of the other customers waiting in line that: You have a “Negative History” of shopping. I was shocked, disbelieved of what she just said loudly in front of everyone. I asked her to clarify what she meant. She told me that I purchased items from one Costco store and returned them at a different store. (She was not aware that my daughter, who lives near me, is a travel nurse, and that sometimes she bought for me some items at Costco in California and I did not like the taste or allergic to certain type of drinks, I returned them, unopened, to Las Vegas store as per the Costco’s return policy.)

The manager was very aggressive, authoritatively and loud, she kept emphasizing that I am having a Negative History of shopping.

After not being able to raise voice against hers, I asked her: “How would you feel if you tried to return an item to a Target store, and the clerk told you that you have a Negative History of shopping? Would you be hurt?”

The manager paused, and mumbled for a few minutes. She did not give me the answer for my question. I left the store.

Costco bad customer service at costco

7/19/2017

Very rude employee at the entrance to the Costco on 6350 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd. I have never had a problem with Costco or their customer service ever. I went at a crowded time around 12pm on a Wednesday. As I was entering Costco, the lady tried to stop me after I had already walked in and showed her my membership card. She then persisted in a rude manner to ask if the membership card belonged to me. I said yes, and she demanded I show her my driver's license as well. I have never had an incident where I was stopped like that while going in to a Costco and have never came across a rude employee there. There were so many other people walking in as I was, but she chose to only hunt down me. I don't know if it was racial profiling or what but she handled it in a very unprofessional way.
