Costco front office customer service

Hi,

Yesterday my wife and I visited Costco at Dedham, MA. We bought two cart full of items. While we are pushing the cart, the check out person on the door, he made racial comments about our country of origin, "F" word and complained about slow walking. This is my 16th year as Costco member, and with executive membership I spent about 4K-5K worth of purchases from Costco every year. I never had such kind of experience before. The customer service person (Robert, forgot his last name) insulted me and asked Caucasian lady behind me on the line to come to check items/bill.

I went and spoke to store manager as well. I am Indian-American citizen living in this country for last 20+ years, never had such experience at such a wholesale store like Costco. We bring so much business referring to my friends and relatives, thinking of switching to BJs because of this incident.

Costco samples

Week in, week out I look forward to my visit to Costco. It's hard to describe what this visit means to me.I usually take my time when I'm in the store, I look around, I try the office chairs and couches you have on display, I contemplate life while walking through my favorite section (food duuh) and of course I enjoy the samples?.
However this week's visit was atrocious... Everything seemed to he fine. But a weird feeling started to unsettle me. It was then when I noticed there were no samples. I felt betrayed, hopeless...and hungry ?. All I found was yoghurt (which was delicious by the way, I tried it 6 times). please don't let this happen again. P.d the attached picture was my face at the the moment.

Costco employee

Hello I know you mcan got not care much but me and my mom always shop at Costco I loved Costco till today so at the entrance there was this employees sighing you up for I think it was the visa credit card do they were giving out some blankets so my mom tried to sign up so she was not aprove but they still gave her the blanket so we were shopping and when we were by the registers this Asian guy with glasses kinda like in his 40s comes and takes away the blanket from my moms cart saying you did not qualify because no social security yealing it out loud he was so rude this happen in Costco at David st in San Leandro California

Costco the swamp/understanding trump/the putin interviews

Was very disappointed to see you have stocked Newt Gingrich, Eric Bolling, and Oliver Stone's new books, which spread harmful lies and propagandize a thoroughly repugnant administration. You are held to the same moral standards that the rest of us are, even if you are a business. While everyone has a right to their opinions, you do not have an obligation to provide a platform. Stocking these books is tantamount to an endorsement of their views, or at least willful negligence.

This county is also very blue, so it's not like you're making much money off these books. Odd business decision.

Costco organic chicken

I was thrilled when Costco started selling Free Range Organic chicken. But now, it's Kirkland brand and only organic. Not only can I no longer buy this in good consciousness, I explore you to do the responsible course of action and only sell free range. Organic customers are willing to pay for humane treatment of animals.

What is your stance on this? Would love to see free range organic pork as well.

Costco avocados

avoterra by index fresh.
6 avocados
they ripen very strangely with some parts staying solid and yellow and other parts turning green to over-ripened brown.
Also the yellow parts quite flavorless.
I purchased these 6 days ago in riverhead ny.
I would like a refund although I have only tried 3 of the avocados so far not one has been normal like my other purchases of avocados from you and elsewhere.

Costco riding carts for people who don't walk well

I am sitting outside my local Costco store waiting for a riding cart to show up... For the fifth time in as many visits to Costco. I'm a baby-boomer, like a majority of your customers are. I WANT to shop at Costco, but I am unable to walk for a long time, and your store is large. I used to spend a lot of time and money in there. Not so much anymore, because there's never a cart available and I just can't stand up and walk that long. So if I DO go to Costco, nowadays it's a quick trip in and out just to get what I absolutely need. No more browsing and buying all those cool things your wonderful buyers have found. It just seems like to me that it would be worth your while to make more riding carts available. Just sayin'...

Costco kirkland organic creamy peanut butter

This is not so much a complaint as a suggestion. The foil & cardboard seal at the top of the jar is very difficult to remove, and is almost impossible to remove completely since it shreds into tiny pieces rather than peeling away cleanly. Other products, such as Pace Picante Sauce, have seals that can be easily peeled away in a single piece. Perhaps Kirkland could find a similar way to seal their products--such an improvement would eliminate considerable irritation and be much appreciated by their customers.

Costco gas attendant was so rude

I went to pump gas today at costco at the gas attendant was so rude. She claimed I cut off a customer in line. I told her I didn't cut a customer in line because that customer was in between 2 lanes and couldn't make up his mind on which lane to go. She rolled her eyes at me and didn't want to give me her name. Not to mention she stood at my window arguing how I was the one that was wrong. Such bad customer service.

Costco gas station attendant

I was next in line for getting gas. The attendant motioned to go in the middle pump that was free. I didn't see her, so she motioned the car behind me to go instead. She should have tapped on my window. I had my two children in the car (toddler & baby) who call for my attention.

When I told her I would be writing a complaint, she used her radio to call the other attendant and told the car in front of me to stay put, preventing me from getting gas. Her behavior was extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

Costco an employee: olivia arvizu /food court

My mom called me at approximately 8:30 pm and informed me that she had gone to Costco and saw Olivia at food court as she took her order. My mom informed me she ordered a chicken bake and a salad. Olivia threw the salad to my mom. I don't appreciate that kid of behavior specially to a much older woman. Olivia should have more respect for members. It's not the first time she does it. I've also gone to food court and ordered a salad and she also threw it to me on the counter. I let it go because I didn't want to get her in trouble but know she is also acting the same way with my mom and I don't approve of it. Please have warehouse manager contact me at [protected]. Costco unethical behavior

My friend and I just went to Costco to buy all the food and drinks we need for our BBQ tomorrow. We head up to the register, and this gentleman said he could check us out. He looks at my Costco card, and says we aren't able to check out due to it being my Mom's membership who wasn't there. He grabbed a gal who was wearing a red vest (assuming customer service), and she looked up our membership to see if I was on there. While she was doing that, I told the gentleman to move our groceries and check others out because we didn't want to hold the line up. As I am moving the cart he yells at me for going over a yellow line. I went over the line to get a better angle to back up and stand on the side. The yelling was completely unnecessary. The gal came back, and said she would make an exception for us this time, but we just couldn't buy the alcohol. We completely understood, and really appreciated that. About 10 minutes later my Mom had come so we could purchase our drinks, and we ended up in the same line as earlier with the same gentleman. As soon as my Mom give him her membership he just says "your card is no good". The card I had just used to purchase all our food. He starts yelling at us, saying our card isn't good and that we can't purchase anything. He calls customer service, and tries telling them I didn't buy my groceries earlier, when I had. So I pulled out my receipt and as I do that, the guy calls us "bad members" to our face. We have been members at Costco for over 20 years. He had the audacity to even say that to our face. The guy from customer service takes my Mom's card, goes on his computer and looks up our membership, and even says our membership is completely fine, and he doesn't understand where that guy was getting his information. It was clear he just wanted to give us a hard time, and it came off as if he wanted to do it because we're not white. On our receipts it says the gal who checked us out the first time was Lindsey B, OP# 820, on 7/7/17 at 13:07. The gentleman who was purposely giving us a hard time, and being extremely rude was Don K, OP# 116, on 7/7/17 at 13:45. My family shops at Costco once to twice a week, and we have NEVER had an experience like this, but it definitely left a bitter taste for us, and we probably won't be back for awhile, as hard as that is to say.

Costco outdoor furniture with fire pit

Horrible experience as a first time customer. The fire pit did not work, schedule replacement delivery from 9 to 1 pm on a Saturday, waited until 2 pm. Driver called at 2:30 pm to let me know they were late. Reschedule a 2nd time, again, no call and never showed up. Spoke to Rachel (sup) [protected]. She followed up but did provide much help. This past Thursday, without our knowledge, the driver called to say that he was delivering the table at 9 am. I was already in transit to work, had to stop, turn around and finally got my table. No apology and no follow up from anyone from Costco.

Costco employee / optical department

We came here to pick up my eye glasses. The member service named "elvi" saw me and my husband waiting at the "pick up" section but she just continue chatting with another employee. Then another couple came in and she assist that right away. Is that a discrimination? All those time she pretend that we don't exist! That employee should not be in a customer service. You managers should be aware of the employee that you're hiring. By the way, all my family members have costco membership and my husband is an executive member.

Costco adding additional members

I have 3 adults in my house and can't add more than one member to the membership that I've had for 12 years. Costco why can't you allow more than 2 members in a household you get our money regardless and if you want to charge customers for the cost of adding anyone outside of two members you can... it's actually probably a larger revenue stream from a membership standpoint... but few companies actually listen to their consumers or their employees.

Costco costco / tire center / pompano beach, fl

On July 1st I had my daughter's car regularly service for oil change by Honda dealership, inspection report(attached) show tire need attention for safety, since all four tires purchased from Costco no too long ago, I decided to take it to tire center to balance and rotate the tires, then will take it to Midas, where I have lifetime warranty, for alignment to extend the life of the tires and extra safety for my teenage daughter who drive the car. arrived to auto center and explained the problem to the manager on site(see work order attached), which I did not see before at this location, it was one hour before they close on Saturday, he looked up in the system and was about 3000 miles since last balancing, he said "IT WILL BE WAST OF MY EQUIPMENT TO DO THE BALANCING AND ROTATION". I said it is a safety issue, and I'm insulted, next time you will say it is waste of my time! this is not Costco treatment, I told him to do it anyway, then I went inside and spoke to customer service which they brought a manager who understood the situation since I advised him to provide better customer service education to his staff, which made me feel he owned the auto shop, not working there. work was done and got the car, while waiting for alignment appointment, my daughter drove the car on highway and start feeling car shaking over 55 mile, told her not drive till alignment done. Today I took the car to Midas, waited for about three hours for my turn, and they informed front two tires not balanced which cause the car to shake on the highway, they charged to balance the tires and tested the car (see invoice and detail service attached).
I don't know if Costco auto center did the balancing or not since I upset the manager... a certified service center (Midas) confirm two of the tires were never balanced.
The issue wit Costco tire center in Pompano Beach Florida has to be corrected, not sure how many of other victims that assuming a great, honest service, but it is not.
Safety and time wasted correcting those issue should be considered by Costco upper management, tires is a major component in many car accident and if we do not trust Costco, which I'm a member for about twenty years, who else to trust.

Costco dead insect found in the bag of fresh spinach leaves (muzzi)

We are valued and loyal customer for Costco since 2015 based at Sunnyvale, CA with membership # [protected].

Recently we purchased a bag of fresh spinach leaves (MUZZI) around 25th June (serial no. [protected]) at Costco Wholesale.

On 07/05/2017 (5th July) in the evening while preparing dinner we saw a dead insect (picture attached) inside the spinach bag. This is really awful experience to have such thing on your dinner plate. Even we gave the same spinach extract/juice to my kid on the other day and now we are panicked about the wellbeing of my child's health.

I have never experienced such kind of incidents with any other retail or food court till date in the States.

After having this incident, I am really scared about the quality assurance part of Costco and I demand a serious investigation should be taken in this regard.

Also, I am expecting an apology from the competent authority for such gross negligence to a loyal customer like us.

Waiting for the appropriate response on the same.

Costco service at food court

Today i went go Cosoco London Ontario wanderland store. At food court, there was a senior man, and no name card on him. The story is after i placed my order, i did hear clearly the price that he told. So i just ask then, and this old man was yelling to tell me how much. And then his partner which is young guy start laughing, even the customers after me.I just do not understand if he was unhappy today or that's the style of Cosoco cashier.

Costco return department complaint

In the return section, there was a line, but one of the employees, just was wasting the time with meaningless talking with a customer (Lady). Actually it more looked like flirting than talking!

I went closer and asked him to do his job faster, but he even didn't look at me! When finally the lady got her money back and left because it was my turn, still he was pretending he is busy!
Finally, very rude shouted : next!
I went to his, but his manner was still rude, so I asked him his name, (he didn't have his cart on his shirt), he answered me loudly and rude : why
Do you want my name!? Do you want to talk with my manager?! I you want I can call the employer too!
And without paying my money back, rushed to the phone and called someone, came back and when was giving my money back joshed and teased me!

Any way after a few minutes after a lady that she also didn't have her cart in her shirt, came and asking us about the problem!
She said I am aware of that but they try to satisfied the customers!
My wife said : but they make the other customers unsatisfied if they waste the time with meaning less talking!
My wife asked her his name, she said his name is : miguel or migel or something like this. Any way you can see the story from your cameras.

I hope you take care of this matter and answer my e. Mail. I think there are many customers who do not want waste their time with these type of
Rude employees!

Costco insulting customer

I went to costco nortgridge California store this morning. There was three kinds of cherries. I put two in my shopping cart and then. Tasted the thirty one from an opened box which only have got box left. Then an employee named Hugo. Just through that box to my shopping cart. Asked him why. He said that I was stealing. I told him that nobody would never call that stealing when people tasted one and bought two boxes. Then he saidas Costco's rule if I argued with him he would cancel my membership. Then I walked away to pay for my merchandise. This Hugo brought another employee to the cashier's table. I asked him what was that for. He said nothing. So was the grill who he brought with. Then the store manager came. I asked her what was that for. She didn't said nothing. I asked her if it's stealing. She said no. I also that if what Hugo told me was really a Costco's rule. She also said no. I then ask her to call Hugo to apologize to me. She refused. This is very funny. When you are cherries seller. You don't want to call somebody stealing when they taste one because they want to buy from you. Also. If Costco teach your employees to judge customers behavior. At least hire someone with lawyer license. Or actors who act better when they are lying.
I am a Costco member for 12 years. I believed in Costco. So then I be came a Costco shareholder. This guy really hurt that a lot. I also post this comment on your Twitter and Facebook page. I want a clear answer. If it was a stealing. I will burn my Costco card and never go there again. And I will turn myself in. If not, I want that guy apologize to my face. Btw, don't know why you hire a store manager like that. After people talked for 10 minutes. She didn't even know what happened. You can contact me at [protected]@gmail.com
